ACME House Company has flexible cancellation options, including:

Short-Term Stays of Less than 28 Days

• 100% Refund for Cancellations within 48 Hours of Making Booking - ACME House Company will process a 100% refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of making a booking.
• 30 Days or More Prior to Arrival Date - ACME House Company will process a 100% refund of all Reservation Charges, except the Booking Fee. 
• Greater than 48 Hours from Booking and between 8 & 29 Days Prior to Arrival Prior to Arrival - Guests will receive a partial refund of 50% of all Reservation Charges, except Booking Fee.
• 7 Days or Less Prior to Arrival - 100% of All Reservation Charges are considered earned.

Long-Term Stays of 29 Days or More

• Greater Than 6 Months Prior to Arrival - ACME House Company will process a 100% refund for cancellations that are more than 6 months prior to the Arrival date.
• Greater than 91 Days and less than 6 Months Prior to Arrival - ACME House Company will process a 100% refund of all Reservation Charges, except the Booking Fee. 
• Greater Than 60 Days but Less Than 91 Days Prior to Arrival - Guests will receive a partial refund of 50% of the Reservation Charges and Booking Fee. All other costs and fees are refunded, including cleaning fees, security deposit, and any utility fees. Any special services ordered that cannot be canceled in time to receive a refund will also not be refunded.
• 60 Days or Less From Arrival - 100% of All Reservation Charges are considered earned. All other costs and fees are refunded, including cleaning fees, security deposit, and any utility fees. Any special services ordered that cannot be canceled in time to receive a refund will also not be refunded.

*Please note that the cancellation policy is based on the marketplace where you book your reservation and the date/time that you originally reserved your stay. The cancellation policy noted in your signed guest agreement is the one valid for your stay.

Booking directly with Acme House Company on our website or via our call center provides you with the best price, the most flexible cancellation policy, and a hassle-free guest experience with local knowledge to assist you through the entire guest experience - from the moment your research begins, until you check-out and head home.

If for any reason you choose to book through a third party, we love our advertising partners! Some require us to choose from one of their default cancellation policy offerings, some add on their own service charges and some collect your payment and then pay us later. We will still provide you with the same outstanding experience to the best of our ability.

Trusted Cleaning & Operations Process

Have peace of mind when you arrive to an Acme House Company vacation home. Our staff is trained and held accountable to the following personal and operational standards:

• All Acme House Company Employees are Fully-Vaccinated or must follow the following guidelines
  • Wear an N95 mask, whenever the unvaccinated staff member is in our office building, in a vehicle with
    others during work hours, or in any property we manage.
  • Turn in at least 1x per week, a negative Covid19 test
  • Test their temperature and Oxygen level in the lobby of our offices before entering each workday and log the results

• All Staff Members must continue to do the following regardless of vaccination status:
  • Maintain social distancing as recommended by the CDC and state
  • Follow all guidelines as published here:  https://covid19.ca.gov/safely-reopening/#continuing-safety-measures
  • Wear Masks & Gloves while on property.
  • Use Sanitizer, Virucide Cleaners & Disinfectants
  • Report any exposure to COVID19 immediately to their manager and HR

• Additional Cleaning Focus & Operational Efforts Include:
  • High-touch items such as remotes, cabinets, and door handles are being disinfected multiple times throughout the cleaning process.
  • Towels and linens are placed in plastic protectant coverings post laundering and are removed once they are ready for installation at the property.
  • Coffee is now provided in sealed packaging directly from the boutique roasting provider, Sister's Coffee.
  • Pet-Friendly Properties now have pet waste bags provided at check-in.
  • Most concierge greetings for arrival are being done over the telephone instead of in-person to avoid contact with non-family/traveling group members.
  • Non-emergency maintenance requests may not be handled until departure unless specifically requested by the guest or homeowner.
