The house looked exactly like the pictures. It was clean, comfortable, and the vibe was exactly what we were looking for. The host was responsive whenever we had a question. And we were able to get late check out, which was super helpful! They had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable, including little details like pool towels, makeup removal towels, extra linens and towels, and different kitchen appliances/utensils. Due to the city ordinances of no loud noises, it was peaceful and the pool experience was relaxing! Looking for more ACME properties for our next stay.

Our family of 5 loved our stay at starburst PS. Lovely pool and jacuzzi, and an abundance of space and well-taken care of details. Dog friendly was a huge plus, and the grill area was put to good use. My only “complaint” is that it is on a fairly loud street, so if you have dogs that love to bark or are a super sensitive sleeper you would benefit from staying in the casita, or using a noise machine at night. Other than that - flawless.

The casita is the best part!! The kitchen is well-stocked with glassware, cookware, etc. Everything pretty well matches the photos. It is located just a bit from downtown, making it easily accessible. There are a wealth of places to sit & relax!! Had it not been for the high winds, we would have lit the outdoor fireplace. While on a busy street, noise wasn't much of an issue (we did have some crazy wind storms, which masked some of the sound.) However, if you are a light sleeper, bring a sound machine (or use an app), just in case (especially if you will be in the bedroom with the queen). There were constant issues with the spa, which meant it wasn't available our entire stay. (The spa drains itself of water during the night, so we were unable to use it on the chilly mornings. Additionally, the heater was inconsistent.) While ACME staff were very responsive (by text, phone or airbnb messages), the issue was never completely resolved.

Nice house in a convenient location, but thermostat was locked to prevent setting the AC below 74 degrees. I had to negotiate to get the limit lowered to 72, and they ignored my subsequent request to lower it to 70. Especially annoying because this restriction wasn’t noted in the listing. I understand the Palm Springs best can be hard on AC units, but I’ve stayed at numerous other Airbnbs in the area without this restriction.

The house and exterior pool was quite nice and as advertised. Not knowing the area before traveling, we found that the property was on a main road that was quite noisy. The hot water in the casita bedroom was no hot enough. Some other minor issues but they were nicely handled by the management company.

Overall, Starburst PS was beautiful and looked just like the photos. Everyone had a bedroom and bathroom to call their own which gave everyone the privacy they wanted. We paid extra for pool heating, but wish the water was a little bit warmer. Still a little too chilly even when the sun was out. The spa/hot tub was perfect. Spent most of our outdoor time in that. We had a few maintenance issues pop up and ACME was extremely quick to respond and send someone out to fix them. There were some issues with the dishwasher not fully draining and then would randomly stop and start again. We ended up just using it as a drying rack. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'd need to prepare a thanksgiving dinner. They knew we had two dogs and what a pleasant surprise it was to discover the box of toys and treats they set out to help welcome our furry friends. That was extra special to us and meant a lot they went the extra mile to make them feel comfortable too. We had a great time!

Overall the house was exactly as it looks in the photos, awesome pool and hot tub. Really cute house. One review mentioned that it was next to a main road and what we didn't realize is just how loud the area was. The road in front of the house was extremely loud, the back Casita was quieter and fine but for our friend who stayed in the front room, she could barely sleep it was so loud. Also, the house is close to the flight pattern so as you are laying out next to the pool there are a ton of planes and jets flying overhead. The house itself is great but the noise was just too much for us to book there again.

I cannot express how amazing this property was. Everything was built so beautifully and it was a true pleasure to stay at this house. I loved everything about it, it was extremely hard to choose a favourite, but I have to say, the pool and kitchen were my top most enjoyable places on the property. It was extremely helpful that the Downtown area was only a short distance away. Although the Downtown was quite pleasing, I have to say I looked most forward to returning back to the property and relaxing in the hot tub. This house felt very comfortable, it almost felt as if it was my own. On the last day of our stay, I, along with my fellow travellers, were quite sad to leave. Thank you to the owners for creating such a wonderful house. It is an experience I will never forget!
