For homeowners · In the desert since 2008
Full-service vacation rental management across Palm Springs, the Coachella Valley and Joshua Tree — from a locally owned team on Palm Canyon Drive.
Why owners hand us the keys
Eighteen years in one desert, and the people who cover it keep noticing.
Sound familiar?
After eighteen years managing homes across Palm Springs, the Coachella Valley and Joshua Tree, we hear the same five things from owners who call us.
The phone rings at 11pm and it is a guest who cannot work the thermostat. Vacation weeks get spent answering messages instead of enjoying the house.
Cleaner, pool service, HVAC, landscaper, handyman. Coordinating them around back-to-back stays turns a rental into a second job.
Emails sit for days. You are a unit number to somebody in another state, and nobody has actually walked through the house in months.
Bookings soften, rates stay flat through Modernism Week and the festivals, and the fee stays exactly the same either way.
Palm Springs runs the strictest short-term rental ordinance in the valley, and every city near it sets its own. Missing a renewal is expensive.
Every one of these has a fix, and none of them requires you to become a hotelier. That is the job we do all day, every day.
For Homeowners
Acme House Company has managed vacation homes in the desert since 2008, from our office at 750 N Palm Canyon Dr in the heart of Palm Springs. Owners hand us the whole job: revenue management that prices every night against real market demand, guest screening that protects your home before a reservation is ever confirmed, and a local operations team that inspects, cleans, and maintains the property between every stay.
We are locally owned and operated, which is the whole point. Housekeeping, inspections and maintenance are handled by our own team, and a real person answers when a guest or a neighbor calls. The recognitions above came out of that work rather than out of a marketing budget.
If you own a home in the desert and want it earning without running it yourself, this is what we do all day, every day.
What the numbers say
Per 2025 and 2026 KeyData, a third-party analytics tool, Acme consistently outperforms market averages across all key revenue metrics. Here is what that means for your property.
Direct bookings
More revenue in your pocket with fewer fees.
Higher occupancy
With longer average stays for less turnover.
Higher daily rate
Premium pricing over competition.
Higher RevPAR
Revenue per available room vs. market.
Maintenance savings
With our in-house repair team.

What we run for you
You own the home. We operate everything that makes it earn, and you get a single point of contact who knows the property by name.
Every night is priced against real market demand, not a flat seasonal rate. Rates move for Modernism Week, the festivals, tennis, and the shoulder weeks in between.
Guests are screened before a reservation is ever confirmed, and reach a real person during the stay rather than a voicemail box.
Our own local housekeepers and inspectors turn the home between every stay, so what the listing promises is what the guest walks into.
Pool, HVAC, landscaping and repairs are dispatched from Palm Canyon Drive. When your home needs eyes on it, someone drives over.
Each desert city writes its own short-term rental rules. We handle the registration and the renewals for the city your home actually sits in.
Monthly statements and payouts that show exactly what the home earned and what it cost, with a straight answer when you have a question.
Getting started
Tell us about the home. We look at what it is, where it sits, and what comparable desert homes are actually earning, then tell you what we think it can do.
You get a plan specific to your property: pricing approach, how we will market it, and any improvements worth making before launch. Nothing off a template.
Professional photography, listing build, permit registration, smart-home setup and vendor handover. We tell you exactly what we need from you at each step.
Bookings come in, statements arrive monthly, and your local manager is a phone call away. You block the calendar whenever you want the house yourself.
Guest reviews
Six recent five-star reviews from guests who stayed in homes we manage, across all three of our desert markets.
Our stay in Adobe Barona was so peaceful. The home is surrounded by a beautiful mountain view with gorgeous sunset skies. The gated driveway is great for security and the outdoor automatic roller shades were a nice touch for privacy. The pool was great to cool down in and the spa helped us unwind and relax. We also enjoyed laying down in the outdoor bed. We were able to walk a short way down the street and watch the 4th of July fireworks that were being displayed in the nearby park. Overall an amazing weekend getaway!
I highly recommend Glass & Steel House. The location was a great balance between privacy, peace, and being in walking distance to the main drag. The kitchen was well-equipped with high-quality dishes, pans, utensils, and coffee maker. The pool was fantastic (yay for heated pool, even in the warm months), and overall the property was immaculately clean. We loved being able to give my parents the separate primary suite.
We had a wonderful stay at this home in Palm Desert. The listing is very accurate and reflects the property exactly as it is. The home was clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, and located in a great area. One of the highlights was how close the house is to the community pool, which was beautiful and very well maintained. The neighbourhood itself is quiet, safe, and perfect for morning walks or runs. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would gladly stay here again. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-located place to stay in Palm Desert.
The home was perfect for a getaway. Extremely spacious, we loved the backyard, and the privacy of the outdoor areas. The home had everything we needed, I was surprised how stocked the kitchen was with extra containers, blenders, etc. It made it super easy to make all the meals we planned. Hosts were super helpful, and responsive. I’ve already recommended this home to a friend. Thank you!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. Beautiful views all around, peaceful, kitchen is well equip, clean, loved the small details like the reading light next to the bed and heated lamp/light coming out of the shower. Appreciated the corn hole and games available. All the furniture was clean and comfortable. Appliances are updated. I came with my children and parents and everyone enjoyed!
We took a quick weekend trip from San Diego to explore Joshua Tree and do some hiking, and this place was the perfect getaway. The views from the house were absolutely amazing in every direction! We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking and making dinner on the grill in the evening. The house was also bigger than we expected, which was a nice surprise. Overall, it was an awesome, peaceful place to unwind, and we had a fantastic stay.

Owner stories
Three owners, in their own words.
The pricing strategy is thoughtful, and the marketing feels specific to Palm Springs rather than copied from another market. I finally feel like every part of the calendar is being managed with purpose.
I wanted a local team that would notice the small things before they became expensive problems. Now I’m not coordinating housekeeping, pool service, and repairs on my own.
My home can earn without taking over my life. I can see how it’s performing, and when something needs attention, the local team takes care of it.
Where your home gets seen
Your home goes live on the major booking sites and on our own site, all running off one calendar. You do not manage any of it, and you never have to worry about two guests booking the same weekend.
Rates and availability sync across every channel in real time, so there are no double bookings and no manual updating.
Each site rewards something different. The listing is built for the channel it sits on rather than pasted across all of them.
A booking through acmehouseco.com carries fewer fees than the same booking through a channel, which is why we market the home under our own name too.
Three desert markets
Each desert market has its own rules, seasons, and guests. Start with yours.

Midcentury homes, walkable neighborhoods, and the valley’s most demanding permit rules, handled.
Palm Springs management →
Golf communities, HOA coordination, and pricing built for the down-valley season.
Down-valley management →
Park-driven demand, dark skies, and the practical care high-desert homes need.
Joshua Tree management →Everything required to run your home as a vacation rental: dynamic pricing and revenue management, professional listings and marketing, guest screening and communication, housekeeping and inspections between every stay, maintenance coordination, and monthly owner statements. You own the home; we run the operation.
Statements and payouts are monthly. Your statement lays out the month's activity so you can see exactly how the home performed.
We do. Each city in our markets sets its own short-term rental rules, and we manage the permitting and renewals for your home according to the rules that apply where it sits.
Yes. Owner stays are part of the plan. You tell us when you want the home, we block the calendar, and it is ready for you when you arrive.
We start with an assessment of the home, then professional photography, then we build the listing and take it live. We walk you through each step and tell you exactly what we need from you along the way.
Palm Springs, the Coachella Valley including Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indian Wells, Indio and Coachella, and Joshua Tree and the High Desert. Our office is at 750 N Palm Canyon Dr in Palm Springs, and the operations team works out of the same building.
Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia, Tripadvisor and Google Vacation Rentals, plus our own site at acmehouseco.com, where a booking carries fewer fees. All of them run off one calendar, so two guests can never book the same weekend, and you are not managing any of it.
Housekeeping, inspections and maintenance are handled by our own local team rather than subcontracted to a rotating vendor list. That is the difference owners notice first: when something needs attention at your home, one company answers for it.
Yes. Owners switch to us regularly, and we coordinate the handover so your calendar keeps running. Start with a conversation about your dates and existing bookings and we will map out the transition from there.
