The destination
Palm Springs is a small city with an outsized reputation. Much of it is flat and easy to get around, organized along Palm Canyon Drive, where restaurants, galleries, and midcentury furniture shops run for about a mile. The San Jacinto mountains rise directly west of town, bringing dramatic morning light and afternoon shade earlier than you might expect.
The season runs roughly October through May. Winter and spring bring the crowds, including Modernism Week in February and festival traffic in April. Summer is the honest trade-off: daytime highs regularly top 105 degrees, and nightly rates fall to their lowest of the year. If your trip is built around the pool, air conditioning, and dinner after sunset, summer can be a real bargain.
Most homes here are single-story with private pools, and many date to the 1950s and 60s. That character is a big part of why people keep coming back.

June through September is very hot, with daytime highs regularly above 105, and that is when nightly rates are lowest. Summer works well if your trip is built around the pool and evenings out.
Most of the homes we manage in Palm Springs have a private pool, and many also have a spa. Pool-heating policies and fees vary by home, so check the individual listing or ask us before you book, especially for winter stays.
It depends on the neighborhood. Homes near downtown and the Uptown Design District put you within walking distance of Palm Canyon Drive’s restaurants and galleries. Neighborhoods farther south or east are quieter, and most guests there drive or use rideshare. Each listing’s map shows exactly where the home sits.
Some of our Palm Springs homes welcome dogs and some do not, and a pet fee may apply where they do. Check the pet policy on the listing, or contact our team and we will point you to the right homes.
