Ruth Hardy Park Oasis – Walkable PS Escape

This is an amazing property. Everything you could possibly need and a beautiful outdoor area with many places to sit and socialize. We particularly loved the coffee bar!

The house is beautifully located in the Movie Colony of Palm Springs and is fully equipped with everything you might need. There are also fun games available. The master bedroom is spacious and very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet yet still close to downtown Palm Springs. There’s a lovely playground nearby and tennis courts. The garden is beautifully landscaped, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The pool is gorgeous with comfortable loungers, and the outdoor living area is incredibly spacious. In short, an outstanding place to stay and highly recommended.

We had a really great time staying here. It was really clean and spacious. It also had a ton of amenities. We especially loved the kitchen with all the different appliances, even a juicer! It's also a quick drive to downtown Palm Springs.

We spent 3 nights in this Palm Springs oasis, and it was the perfect location for exploring Joshua Tree, Palm Desert, Salton Sea, and of course the many Palm Springs shops and restaurants. The house had plenty of space, for privacy and the outdoor areas were great for morning coffee and relaxing in the afternoons. The kitchen was well-stocked, we had everything we needed. We've stayed in many properties all over the world and everyone agreed this was one of our favorites.

My friends and I rented this darling place for the weekend based on the photos and location. It actually looked BETTER in person than the photos, which really didn’t do this private oasis style yard justice. Pool is on the smaller side but the grounds were so well manicured and pretty that it really didn’t matter. The house felt much bigger than it is and we loved the kitchen/dining/living room so much. The main shared bath was also very large and comfortable to fit three ladies getting ready. The master suite was gloriously large! Also, the wine glasses were chefs kiss. Not the cheap goblet style but very fancy glasses. We loved how well stocked the kitchen was with every utensil and appliance/pans/bowls you could need. We fit four ladies cooking together in that kitchen and never felt on top of each other. Great flow! They even had fun party games to play. We had a lovely stay and would recommend this home 1,000% to anyone interested!

Property is in an excellent location to walk to downtown Palm Springs. The house was top notch inside and out. The backyard was beautifully landscaped with lots of green. Check in/out were very simple. Highly recommend it.

The location of the home is excellent and is in walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. What we really enjoyed was the tranquility of the beautiful backyard. In the morning, hummingbirds and other birds visit the yard and its flowers. It's an incredible setting with many fruit trees and flowering bougainvillea. There are several areas to sit an enjoy the scenery, including a stunning mountain view. We were also appreciative of the well appointed kitchen!

This was a fabulous property for my sister and I to stay at with our senior Dad to spend a long weekend celebrating his birthday. It was located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood and felt very private. Instructions to enter the driveway gate and the house were clear and concise. It’s very close to downtown Palm Springs - less than a mile to excellent shops and restaurants. The home was nicely decorated and cozy making us feel at home right away. It was extremely clean and had absolutely anything and everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The backyard was our favorite part of the property. It was meticulously landscaped and there were multiple seating options available to relax and enjoy the incredible December weather. The palm trees and mountains provided a gorgeous backdrop. We truly felt like we were on vacation. I highly recommend this property and would 100% stay here again in the future.

This is our second time staying at this home. It is very close to a beautiful park and walkable to downtown where there are countless restaurants and shops. The home is beautiful, clean and very well stocked, including a well stocked kitchen, which I love. The pool is small, but perfect with lots of outdoor seating and a really incredibly beautiful backyard with lots of citrus trees. We enjoyed making fresh squeezed orange juice in the mornings. We look forward to coming back.

This lovely home in the Movie Colony neighborhood was a perfect respite. The home was very comfortable, the yard and pool area just lovely. The kitchen was full-equipped, nicely appointed with everything you could need. The coffee/wine bar was just over the top. We loved our stay here.

We stayed two months at this house. I can’t say enough positive about the location, ablock from Ruth Hardy Park, where you can walk your dog, great covered outdoor where you could eat and cook. and one of the best outfit kitchens I’ve experienced. The only downside of this house is the management company. They promptly fixed a minor issue with the television however, it took three phone calls and two text messages to get a refund on a service that was never provided.

We had a great time at the Palm Springs Ruth Hardy Park Oasis house. The backyard is absolutely beautiful. The house was super clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean as well. It is a little more on the pricey side, but it is a beautiful home in a beautiful location and we had a wonderful time.

Absolutely perfect stay for families! The main bedroom has a walk-in closet that’s big enough for a pack-and-play and has no windows - PERFECT for babies and toddlers! The second bedroom has the extra space with two twin beds - it’s roomy and comfortable. We were a family with a baby, grandparents, and an aunt and everyone had plenty of room to themselves. The backyard is STUNNING - gorgeous pool, mature fruit trees, and amazing views. The kitchen is will appointed with a generous dining table. And the location can’t be beat! In the heart of the Movie Colony - less than 5 minute walk to Ruth Hardy Park, and an easy walk to downtown and some of the best places on Palm Canyon Drive. Host was friendly and super responsive. We’ll be back for sure!!

Acme was a great host! When there was a last minute issue with the place we'd originally booked, they reached out, apologized and offered us comparable and even better options at no additional cost. The home is beautiful - great for two couples or a family with multiple (incredible!) outdoor spaces. There were clear check in instructions, the home was spotless and it has all the amenities you'd need - including a bottle of wine and a fully stocked coffee station. We'll definitely stay here again!

Excellent experience. We had an issue with the Wi-Fi upon check in (host had changed the password for Wi-Fi but old password still in materials) and Acme sent a tech out immediately to get us squared away. Home was very clean, stylish and comfortable. Thoughtful amenities like coffee and tea service with sugar and creamer, plus basic spices, salt and pepper and oils—didn’t have to buy salt and pepper like we’ve had to do at other rentals. Grounds were well kept and attractive. Pool was clean and pool and lounge areas had a lot of comfortable lounge furniture and pillows. Fire pit was a welcome bonus on a cool evening. Heavenly aroma from home’s lemon and orange tree blossoms. Neighborhood is very walkable and close to a large park. It’s also walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. A wonderful week —thank you to Acme and the owner.

If you're considering booking this property, just do it - you will not be disappointed. The home and property are just as beautiful as the pictures look and are filled with so many helpful "extras" that make the stay even more pleasant than expected. From the extremely well stocked coffee and tea bar, shampoo and body wash in every bathroom, board games for quiet nights at home and an extremely well stocked kitchen (including a juicer for fresh squeezed OJ and lemonade from the backyard citrus trees) this home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The property is beautiful and the outdoor living spaces are absolutely gorgeous. It's a quick 5 minute drive to downtown, 10 minutes from the beautiful Tahquitz Canyon, 15 minutes from the airport and about an hour from Joshua Tree National Park. The property management company is extremely responsive and very helpful with any questions you may have. My only suggestion would be to add an outdoor heater for the winter months so more time can be spent outside when it's chilly. If we find ourselves in Palm Springs again we would book this home in a heartbeat!

Fantastic stay at the Ruth Hardy Park Oasis property! Beautiful, quiet, private property; close to downtown; thoughtfully appointed with amenities. Very easy to check in and check out. The pool was wonderful to soak up some unexpected triple digit temperatures! Beautiful green lawns to view from the ample outdoor space. My dog loved roaming completely fenced in property (only note that the sprinklers go off every few hours, so once you get used to it you won't get caught in them lol). The property managers were very friendly and responsive. Absolutely recommend staying here and hope to visit again!

Beautiful spacious property. It has all the kitchen equipment anyone needs to cook. Our puppies were so happy. They provide bags for their poop. One negative and it has nothing to do with the property it’s a city issues. We had some music playing by the pool and it was flagged by a neighbor. We promptly got a call from the property manager. I appreciated the one warning. The beds are so comfortable! The sheets are amazing. We look forward to staying again.

The pool was very nice and the size of the lot was perfect. Also, this house is walking distance to the Ruth Hardy park and downtown. This property is ideally located, a block away from Ruth Hardy park. Our 11.5 yr old Rhodesian Ridgeback was like a puppy when he saw the gorgeous back yard.! So much space and beautifully landscaped! I loved the pool! Great rehab for my bum knee because of the warmth! The house was very clean and the property management was very responsive. Mounds of coffee pods provided and a well stocked kitchen. We were very comfortable here! The only suggestion I would make would be to add a shower in the second bathroom, as the free standing tub with shower was a bit awkward. Also should be aware that the third bedroom is attached to the second, a bit odd but certainly did not affect our enjoyment or use as a couple.

The home and grounds were immaculate! We had a wonderful relaxing time. Our two poodles Bowie and Flynn really enjoyed the spacious back yard. The pool was nice and we used it on the first day as the temps were in the 80's. The weather cooled off after that but we still spent quite a bit of time on the back patios enjoying the peace and quiet!

Please note: we were told explicitly that there was not a child-deterrent fence available for use around the pool. Although we did not end up putting it in place, there IS a pool fence available for you to set up on the property.

We spent 10 days at RHP Oasis and loved it. The house was very clean and well stocked. The yards are beautiful and peaceful and we spent hours relaxing by the pool. We appreciated the privacy/tranquility the property gave us. Close enough to downtown and all the many hiking locations. Spacious, clean and well stocked. Huge back yard that allowed us to start our morning with a yoga session before heading to Coachella. Nice front yard area that was perfect for group photos. The high bushes/walls granted a lot of privacy from neighboring homes. Very happy with our stay!

Loved the landscaping and the outdoor spaces, which attract many birds and butterflies. The sunlight inside the house was also very cheering and exactly what I’m looking for in the desert. We very much appreciated the way the kitchen was stocked with coffee and olive oil and salt. All appliances were in excellent working order and the dishes and pots and pans were thoughtfully chosen. What a lovely home with a beautiful yard. We loved our stay here. The house was immaculately clean and all the comforts of home were provided. The home is located perfectly and we felt everything was accessible. Hoping to come back for another visit today n the future!

This property exceeded our expectations in almost every manner. The outdoor layout was exceptional, complete with shaded dining, fire pit for evening get together‘s, and the pool was perfect. Indoor facilities were outstanding as well. Great layout. Location in the Ruth Hardy area is also one of the best in Palm Springs, in my opinion. We will continue to look exclusively at

We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Ruth Hardy Park Oasis! We spend our Christmas at this absolutely perfect home! The yard is amazing and the pool was perfect for our family ! The property managers are first class and I would highly recommend this fabulous home!

We have rented a vacation home in various locations for the last 10 years. We both agree that overall, this property was the best. The pool and outdoor amenities were a real treat. The home Is in a beautiful, quiet, but convenient neighborhood. Downtown Palm Springs is just several blocks away with a wide variety of really good restaurants and other attractions. The home was meticulously clean and amazingly well equipped, We cannot comment on the responsiveness of the management because we had no questions or other reason to contact them during our stay. The advance information and materials in the home were very useful. We would like to return sometime in the future and would definitely recommend the property and Acme House Company to others.

Lovely home! Comfortably, nicely decorated. Super comfy beds. Very well stocked kitchen, plenty of sheets and towels. Large yard, beautifully landscaped, with lots of shady outdoor sitting and eating areas. Everything was in perfect working order - including the AC. Pool is on the small and shallow, but we very much enjoyed it - especially to escape the heat. The instructions to use the space were perfectly clear and easy to follow. We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend here. Highly recommend.

The Ruth Hardy home is amazing! Instructions to enter the home are easy. It was spotlessly clean everywhere. The house is absolutely beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the rooms are large with lots of light. Everything you need is at this house as far as amenities. The claw foot bathtub was a dream. The pool was the perfect temperature and the backyard is beautiful, it's very large, very private and totally secure for our small dogs. They provide umbrellas near the lounge chair's by the pool as well as floats for the pool. There are a lot of places to sit outside in the shade. The kitchen is perfect to cook in and has everything you need. I highly recommend this home and we can't wait to go there again.

Overall Comment We had a wonderful stay on our vacation experience in Palm Springs. The house was fresh and clean great location everyone had their privacy for sleeping and having the kitchen and living and dining room open was wonderful as well highly recommend this home for vacationers.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect family vacation spot. The home was spotlessly clean, and by far the best equipped rental I have ever stayed in. The yard was an oasis, and the pool just the right size with my 4 and 6 year old. We loved our time at Ruth Hardy house, and will stay there again! We would book just about anything through Acme House because the whole process was so wonderful, and everything was so well cared for.

Overall Comment Four adults and two littles enjoyed a long weekend at Ruth Hardy Oasis, which was absolutely perfect for our needs. A beautiful, lush, green yard with plenty of shade during a heat wave in the desert. The house is super cozy and spacious and very well appointed - and a great kitchen for the cooks. The location is great, with quick access to Ruth Hardy Park, a lovely respite from the heat. We are looking forward to booking our next visit!

This house is so wonderful. Charming, clean, absolutely perfect! Lots of soft grass and beautiful trees and flowers. I loved watching the birds as dragonflies in the backyard. We came during 117 degree weather and the house stayed cool and the pool felt so refreshing. My kids loved it. Thank you!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our third and longest stay at this wonderful house. It’s the perfect retreat and we can’t get enough of it! However, there are a few things we feel important to point out and recommendations to make. There is a new child-proof fence available for the pool. For older guests, a hand rail at the pool steps should be installed. Getting in and out of the pool without one can be difficult and dangerous. ~ When staying more than a week, as we did, a second set of clean pressed sheets would be appreciated and should be provided without a required housecleaning fee of $250.00. ~ The sprinklers are on a wacky timer schedule, turning on and off throughout the day. Beware! It is easy to get sprayed without notice if you’re spending any time on the lawn or in the beautiful gardens. ~ Otherwise, thank you to the owners and Acme!
