Fabulous pool home a short distance to the world famous Palm Canyon Drive and just steps from Ruth Hardy Park. According to local lore, this was once the home of George Reeves, star of the 1950s Superman television series. So please, no Kryptonite. Beds: K, Q, Q

Midcentury vacation home where it’s all about relaxing in the sunshine. Gorgeous private pool yard with Spa and beautiful mountain views. Spacious open concept floor plan where all of the rooms open up to the outdoor patios, gardens and courtyards. Free WiFi, four flat screen televisions, and three en suite sleeping quarters including a guest casita with a serving kitchen and poolside bar.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
As gorgeous as the interior spaces of this home are - it is the outdoor spaces that are the crowning glory. The entire back yard has been walled and landscaped for complete privacy. Poolside chaise lounges, outdoor dining and hanging spaces, a fire pit, shade umbrellas - this vacation home has it all - perfect for relaxing in the sun or escaping to the shaded areas. At night, beautiful twinkling lights and landscape illumination compliment the desert’s starry skies to give this place a completely magical feel - like your own private Palm Springs resort.

** The pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. If your home has a spa or hot tub, heating the spa is included with your rental at no extra cost **

INDOOR LIVING SPACES
There is a simple understated elegance about this home that creates a very relaxed, comfortable, easy living vibe. The open layout of the living spaces is perfect for spending time with your entire group. The great room, with its two-sided fireplace, features lots of seating for lounging, dining and binge watching your favorite TV shows. French doors open to the covered lanai to reveal the breathtaking pool yard, gardens and mountain views. The kitchen with its natural gas stove is great for individual or group meal prep.

** The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. **

SLEEPING QUARTERS
All three sleeping areas have hospitality-quality mattresses, en suite baths, flat screen televisions, ample storage and direct access to the outdoors. Inside the main home are a King Master & a Queen Master. The additional Queen guest casita features a poolside bar and service kitchen with a full-size refrigerator. This is Palm Springs living at its best - where we blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living - taking full advantage of the weather, sunshine and spectacular mountain views.

THE LOCATION
Tucked away on a quiet residential street in the Movie Colony East neighborhood, this property is just one block from Ruth Hardy Park, and less than a mile from the world famous Palm Canyon Drive. You’ll be in walking distance to the Palm Springs Uptown Design District with its fine dining restaurants, sidewalk cafes, specialty boutiques, art galleries and midcentury modern furniture showrooms. The casino, convention center and night spots like Tropicale and The Copa are just a short stroll away. Neighborhood conveniences like grocery stores, sandwich shops, burger joints and other casual eateries are all very close by.

As advertised. The outdoor space shines, and is one of the main reasons we booked this property. The house was clean, well stocked and refreshingly did not have a long checkout chore list. Only minor problem was communication when the lock box code stopped working and the automated message bot reported the wrong number (off my one digit) to call after hours. We eventually found the right number and reported the wrong number, so this shouldn't be a problem for anyone else renting through one of the mgmt company properties. We would stay here again during our next trip to Palm Springs.

The house, the location was perfect for our mini getaway! I stayed here with 5 other adults and 2 babies. There was plenty of room for each family and so much space for the babies to roam around. The house and pool were clean! There were also floaties provided for the pool. It was very helpful that the cabinets were labeled. It helped us locate silverware, cups, plates, etc quickly. The kitchen was fully equipped. Check in was easy and the host was very responsive. We did have to contact the host. It took a while for someone to come out but sent someone over the morning we checked out. No biggie though! Great location as it is minutes away from downtown. Would stay here again!

Had a great stay in Palm Springs at the Reeves Garden House, said to be the Palm Springs hideaway of George Reeves, the original TV Superman. The house is great for families, accepts dogs, and has a cute casita with its own entrance. The outside pool area is lovely, and there is a hot tub. Neighborhood is quiet, close to a park, and less than a mile from downtown.

The house was so perfect and the management was super responsive. We walked to everything but you obviously need to be willing to walk at least 3/4 of a mile to get to the main drag. They even left a welcome goodie box for the dog! You should definitely stay and won't be disappointed.

Short-Term Stays (28 nights or less):

• 100% Refund: Cancel within 48 hours of booking.
• 60+ Days Before Arrival: 100% refund of all charges.
• 30–59 Days Before Arrival: Refund of all charges except the booking fee.
• 8–29 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of all charges except the booking fee. Booking fee not refunded. 
• 7 Days or Less Before Arrival: No refund.

Long-Term Stays (29 nights or longer):

• 6+ Months Before Arrival: 100% refund.
• 91 Days–6 Months Before Arrival: Refund of all charges except the booking fee.
• 60–91 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of rent and other fees refunded. Booking fee not refunded. 
• 60 Days or Less Before Arrival: No refund of rent or booking fee; other fees refunded.
