Welcome to Old Blue Eyes - an absolutely gorgeous remodel of this 1946 Post War home in the Warm Sands neighborhood of Palm Springs. Fabulous walk to town location. Very private backyard with a saltwater pool, integrated waterfall spa, multiple fire features, alfresco dining and an outdoor shower.

This designer chic vacation home has a great vibe. The focus here is on easy, livable comfort. We think Frank Sinatra - ol’ Blue Eyes himself would approve! This home has a bright and light free flowing floor plan - providing enough space for your entire group to relax and enjoy. Everything has been updated for the way we live today including a new kitchen, new bathrooms, upgraded heating and cooling systems, high speed internet, 3 flatscreen TVs, gas fireplace and comfortable sleeping quarters.

SLEEPING QUARTERS
Two deluxe Master Suites - each featuring a hotel-quality mattress, en suite bathroom, flatscreen TV, and ample storage. There is also an additional napping room with a daybed and its own full bathroom!

THE LOCATION
Great in-town location for those who want to be close to everything - but just a little removed from the hustle and bustle. Tucked away on a quiet residential street in the Warm Sands neighborhood, this property is just a half mile stroll from the world famous Palm Canyon Drive as it cuts through Downtown Palm Springs. Driving is completely optional when staying at Old Blue Eyes. You’ll also be just a few blocks from two popular shopping plazas where you’ll find Starbucks, Ralph’s Grocery Store, and quite a few fast food and casual dining options including a Greek place, Italian, a donut shop, frozen yogurt, a fabulous bakery and gourmet sandwich shop, and a diner. You’ll also be in walking distance to the vintage midcentury modern antique shops on Sunny Dunes.   • 60 days or more, prior to Arrival date, Acme House Company will process a 100% refund except for special services** ordered on behalf of the occupant. (Special services refunds are explained below)
  • > 48 hours - 59 days prior to arrival, guests can obtain a full refund minus the booking fee, taxes on the booking fee, and any special services*
  • . The booking fee is considered earned.

We had a wonderful time at the house -- it was actually even more lovely in person than in the photos. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bedrooms -- all with their own private baths -- were just what we were looking for as two couples vacationing together. Acme could not have been more responsive or accommodating to our requests. We thoroughly enjoyed the yard with the pool and the spa. The neighborhood was quiet and not far from the downtown area. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

This property was well-appointed with thoughtful details. The king beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, and living areas nicely furnished. We experienced a few hiccups with the pool and spa controller, internet, and showerheads. ACME Management was very responsive and had techs on site quickly to troubleshoot and repair. Kudos to Alex from ACME, who went above and beyond. I would encourage the Owner to address the overall pool controller system glitches. Otherwise, great stay!

We loved our stay. I rent houses regularly when we travel because it's so much easier to have that extra space with a kid, and there's always something weird about the house. Not here. This house was even better than the listing. Check-in was seamless and the AC was on before we got there so the house was cool. Since we ended up visiting during a heat wave, this was key. The furnishings were lovely and very well done. The seating and beds were very comfortable and lovely. The pool was refreshing and incredibly clean when we arrived. We didn't spend much time in the kitchen, but it was well appointed with plenty of glassware, plates, cookware and utensils. We hope to come back soon!

This house was great and I would definitely consider staying here again. There’s a noise ordinance in Palm Springs and there were s so much focus put on that, you may forget to enjoy yourself. The neighbors were a bit too overprotective of the neighborhood during our stay, which led to an offensive conversation initiated by a neighbor. Other than that one incident, this home is a model for other vacation homes. Bravo.

Old Blue Eyes is a phenomenal property located in the convenient neighborhood of Warm Sands, and is exactly as advertised. It is so easy to get to anywhere in Palm Springs from this neighborhood. We loved sitting outside by the hot tub with a cup of coffee looking up at the mountains and enjoying the amazing atmosphere of the home. The beds were very comfortable and at least one master bedroom had a dedicated AC unit (I can't recall if the other bedroom had one or not). That dedicated AC unit makes all the difference. The kitchen was very well stocked and the living areas were spectacular. My husband and I had zero complaints during our stay.

Overall Comment A spacious house with a great layout, hip design (the website photos provide accurate representation), and kitchen that is well-stocked with small appliances and housewares. The two main bedrooms are on the opposite ends of the house, ensuring good sound isolation; each bedroom has its own bathroom. There is also a smaller room with a sofa bed and the third bathroom. The xeriscaped garden and pool are well maintained; everything was immaculately clean. The AC system works well (a must in the summer). Attention to detail and small creature comforts (availability of multiple streaming services on the smart TV, abundant beach towels, working grill) have made our stay particularly delightful. All communication with the property management company was via text and phone, a must in the COVID era but convenient at any time. In sum, we've had a great time and will consider visiting again!

Three of my friends and I loved the outdoor pool and patio the most. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of amenities like a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. We settled in very easily. We did, however, feel a little uneasy about making too much noise. We almost felt bullied into staying quiet. The neighboring homes were very loud at night yet we were told any sort of talking or music heard by the neighbors would result in eviction immediately. Despite this, we had a very fun time and felt comfortable staying in the home.

Exactly as advertised in the pictures. Beautiful, fun, modern, spacious home in a generally quiet neighborhood. I think it was remodeled relatively recently so we were lucky to have everything looking very new and in great working order. Our little family had a great time beating the heat with long days at the pool. We were want for nothing, except maybe a toaster oven and a soaking bathtub would've been nice perks. Kitchen fully stocked for all your cooking and serving needs, with lots of extra thoughtful touches like refillable water bottles, melamine plates and cups for dining outside, and an Instant Pot! Easy contactless check in/out and a seemingly thorough, above and beyond cleaning policy. Lots of rules but detailed clearly and easy to follow. One of the side doors does open easily to the backyard so parents with young kids have to be extra vigilant. We would love to come stay again!

Overall Comment This home is really well located to downtown Palm Springs - it is an easy walk. The house was even nicer in person than in the photos and it was spotlessly clean. It is so well equipped in the kitchen and bathrooms, we had everything we needed. Be careful getting into the hot tub. It is a big drop down. We ate at 849 twice - great food and funky interior. We also ate at Workshop and it was a 10/10. Cheeky’s is a great and friendly bar. I would definitely rent this home again.

Overall Comment You had a beautiful home waiting for us to spend a long weekend. So cozy, comfy, and beautifully detailed. Pool was perfect 86 °. THANK YOU! Beds were really comfortable. Furniture was really comfortable. Our concierge Jeremy was great. Just a couple minor things where the ice maker wasn't working, and the living room tv remote would not work. We use Vons grocery delivery when we are down there, so getting ice was an easy problem to solve. Two of the days we spent in swim suits sunning in 69 degree weather, which felt much warmer than the actual temp. Not bad for December! Thanks Acme. Bravo!

We loved the house! It was super clean, well furnished, and ideally located. I loved the d?®cor; a nice tribute to Old Blue Eyes. I appreciated the little touches that made us feel like we were staying at an expensive hotel; ex. the way the beds were made (comfy too), the towels placed, soaps and shampoo, etc. Acme did a great job of making sure we were comfortable; also, good communication and smooth check-in/checkout. Overall Comment Our extended weekend getaway house was beautiful, clean and refreshing. The staff was professional and very attentive. Half the fun was staying in such a beautifully decorated house and the salt water pool was amazing! We would definitely go back!!!

The first house we checked into had a problem with the air conditioning so Acme team relocated us to this house. We started off inconvenienced and a little annoyed but in the end the trip was wonderful, the team from Acme were helpful, kind and accomodating. Old Blue Eyes was regal, gorgeous, very very clean and extremely comfortable. The designer wallpaper was just stunning and the beds were perfect.

We loved the location and the property. We felt like we were living in a magazine. The bedrroms were just incredible. The beds so comfortable - best sleep every! Everyone on the Acme team was helpful and wonderful. Thanks for the recommendation to have poolside dinner delivered from Babes BBQ. And we tried Ezvin for Greek. Outstanding! We will be back!

We were blown away!

We were looking for a simple affordable trip to Palm Springs. We heard so much about Acme House Company that we thought we would call and learn what all the hoopla is about. Our Vacation planner was so helpful. She told us about this Old Blue Eyes property. We were skeptical because the price was so attractive. But our planner explained it was all part of the Acme Summer of Love promotion. Lots of extra welcome gifts and special low pricing. We were blown away! The beer from Babes BBQ was cold and excellent. Acme left our cards for free coffee from Cartel Coffee Lab right in town. And Acme sent us a special ice cream delivery. Thank you Acme you lived up to all the hype. You people are amazing!

Overall Comment My partner and I spent 4 days here and absolutely loved it. Clean, comfortable, peaceful, and a quick Uber ride to downtown (Ubers tended to show up in about 90 seconds!). Our favorite part was how the property came to life after dark. The pool lights, combined with gas-powered flames all around the pool, created a magical scene for a pre-dinner cocktail, outdoor dinner, and relaxing in the hot tub later at night. We were only two but this house could very easily accommodate 4 or more people. Our only issue was that we had a problem with the pool heater. But the management company responded same day and worked into the evening to replace the entire unit and then delivered some perks in consideration of our brief inconvenience. By the next morning, the pool was the perfect temperature. We will absolutely return as the place feels like new and is exactly what we were hoping for.

We travel a lot and often stay at Vacation Rentals. This was one of our best experiences ever. Acme House Company team was top notch - responsive, helpful and super knowledgeable. Gorgeous home. Beautiful furniture. Very very comfortable. We loved how the great room just opened up right onto the pool. Those walls of glass are stunning! We loved this walking neighborhood and now feel Townie Bagels offer the best bagels we have ever had! Highly recommend this place.
