Fabulous midcentury modern pool home where it's all about relaxing in the sunshine. Gorgeous and private resort-style yard with pool, spa, fire pit lounge and covered living pavilion - with a lounge area and alfresco dining. Towering palm trees and mountain views give the property a magical desert vibe. Beds: K, K, T/T (can convert to K)

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
Sliding glass doors at the back of the living area open up to reveal the fabulous resort-style pool yard. At the center of the yard you'll find a large pool with a spa, surrounded by chaise lounges, a fire pit lounge and a covered outdoor living pavilion with a lounge area and alfresco dining for 6 guests. There is also gas BBQ grill.

** The pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. If you home has a spa or hot tub, heating the spa is included with your rental at no extra cost **

** Please Note: 1. This fee is not included in the quoted price on some booking platforms. 2. Pool heating may be added in minimum of 3 day blocks per request **

INDOOR LIVING SPACES
Gorgeous in its simplicity, as Mr. Alexander and his architects intended, you’ll find clean lines, high ceilings, an open concept floor plan and spectacular walls of glass that let the light pour in - revealing the very private pool yard. The living room, dining area and kitchen are all open to each other - providing enough space for your entire group to gather, relax and enjoy.

** The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. **

SLEEPING QUARTERS
All of the bedrooms feature comfortable hotel-quality mattresses, flat screen televisions, and ample storage. The Primary Bedroom has a King bed, an ensuite bath, and direct access to the pool yard. There are two additional guest rooms that share easy access to the full guest bathroom in the hallway. One has a King bed, and the other has two Twin beds (that can be converted to a King upon request).

THE LOCATION
Sunrise Park is centrally located in the City of Palm Springs. It's close to the airport (but not in the flight pattern) and less than a mile and a half from bustling Downtown. You'll also be close to the Farmers' Market, the Camelot Theater (the home of many of our film festivals and where all the art house and independent movies are shown.) Restaurants, fast food places, coffee spots, grocery stores and other neighborhood conveniences are also very close by.

Great house and great location! Loved the ability to request pool heat temperature for an additional fee. Had an issue with a toilet not fully flushing and hosts responded and resolved issue in a very timely fashion so it didn’t impact our time at all. Would definitely book again.

Lovely - just what we needed

Two couples and a dog had a lovely visit here. I am always impressed by how sparkling clean Acme homes are when we arrive. The kitchen here is clean and new, the family room was comfy with seating for all of us, the beds were cozy, and the private patios off the front bedrooms are a nice touch for some quiet alone outdoor time (morning coffee each day). The backyard was amazing. Views of San Jacinto, the sound of the breeze in the palms, lovely/clean/new pool with an excellent spa, etc. There were big red beanbag chaises when we visited (not in the photos) that were a HUGE hit. The location is excellent. Short drive to downtown, walkable to groceries and parks (and even the airport), close to Prescott Preserve, etc. Only callout is that we didn't realize that the garage/carport would not be accessible to us. There was plenty of driveway parking.

Palm Spring Perfection

My wife and I were looking for a quiet/relaxing getaway and this house was perfect. The interior touches are very nice and the private pool in the backyard is very relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house is situated within minutes of the airport and a very easy 1.5 mile walk to downtown Palm Springs.

Great at communication and flexible for discounted add on days if it’s available. Nice pool and hot tub, nice fire pit and bbq. Has all the amenities. Neighbor to the left of the house is very rude and was yelling obscenities at us one of the nights because our dog barked at a noise. There was no music, party, loud noises or anything else, just the dog barking a couple times. He called the cops and they came but had no concerns and left. It appeared this may be a normal occurrence that they have to deal with this neighbors senseless noise complaints.

Everything was top-notch

This was our second time to stay in an Acme property, and again everything was top-notch. Midcentury Cool is an Alexander home, and we enjoyed its clean, functional design and open spaces. The saltwater pool and spa were refreshing, the kitchen had everything we could need, the beds were comfortable: everything impeccable. We also liked the location, 5 minutes from downtown and close to grocery stores, parks, and our new favorite wine bar. Again this year we found the Acme staff to be friendly and responsive. We had an issue with the dishwasher on our last day, and even though it was late Saturday night by the time I texted about it, I got a response from an actual person, apologies for the inconvenience, and a promise that a technician would take care of it the next day. We hope to be back again for yet another stay in an Acme house.

Pool yard was fabulous! Was the main reason for booking this house & getaway. Beds & pillows are VERY firm, really too uncomfortable for all the adults staying. Amount of texts, phone calls and emails about house rules & details was a bit overbearing and unnecessary, in my opinion. I also feel it should be noted in the details BEFORE booking that the fee for a dog is $150+tax.

Fun in the Sun

We had such a lovely time at this home. We loved lounging by the pool, grilling and eating outside, and taking a dip in the hot tub when the weather cooled. The house is a 3 minute drive to Ruth Hardy Park where we played tennis every day.

  • Check-In: After 3 PM | Checkout: 10 AM
  • No smoking or vaping
  • Renters must be 25 years of age or older
  • No Music is allowed outside of the rental home (at any volume)
  • Parking is restricted to 1 car per bedroom in designated parking spaces.

  • All rentals require state and county tax plus additional required fees
  • Damage waiver covers renter for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property.
  • If the house you are renting has a pool, the pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival.

Booking & Cancellation Policies

All reservations require a valid photo ID and a signed rental contract.

Short-Term Stays (28 nights or less):

• 100% Refund: Cancel within 48 hours of booking.
• 60+ Days Before Arrival: 100% refund of all charges.
• 30–59 Days Before Arrival: Refund of all charges except the booking fee.
• 8–29 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of all charges except the booking fee. Booking fee not refunded. 
• 7 Days or Less Before Arrival: No refund.

Long-Term Stays (29 nights or longer):

• 6+ Months Before Arrival: 100% refund.
• 91 Days–6 Months Before Arrival: Refund of all charges except the booking fee.
• 60–91 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of rent and other fees refunded. Booking fee not refunded. 
• 60 Days or Less Before Arrival: No refund of rent or booking fee; other fees refunded. 

Third-Party Bookings:

Policies vary by platform (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.); refer to the platform's policy.

Travel Insurance:

Consider Sun Trip Preserver insurance for added coverage consideration.
