Mesa Mid-Century – Chic Poolside Escape

If you are looking for a comfortable home, that is quiet and allows you time to relax in a beautiful pool… this is the place for you! The kitchen is a dream to cook in. A couple of things to note and these are not bad things just for the next person to know: You will need to reach out a couple of times to get information on where/how things operate at the home. There is a laundry unit, but it is in the garage and you will need to request to get a code for that. We thought you had to go through the big garage door, but you can get to the garage through the locked door outside of the second bedroom sliding glass door. The sinks in the master bathroom are the most ridiculous sinks I’ve ever used in my life. They are very pretty to look at but functionality is crazy. You’ll want to keep a towel handy to turn off the water for the cold side because it’s hard to turn. These are just little things that we noted but in no way it took away from the incredible stay! Loved! HIGHLY responsive!

We had a very relaxing time at Mesa Mid-century. The house was spotless and provided the perfect amount of comfortable living space for 2-4 people. The backyard provided so many different functional areas to read, enjoy a meal, or catch a nap. The kitchen was well equipped with all the tools you may need. They supplied coffee, filters, sugar, etc. as well as oil/salt/pepper. We will definitely be back as we really enjoyed the home, location, and amenities.

My 13 year old daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights in May. It was perfect! Great location very close to downtown (we didn’t walk but you could if it wasn’t too hot). The pool was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Such a beautiful home inside and out. We loved eating breakfast out on the patio and then enjoying a dip in the pool/hot tub. It was nice ending our night with a drink by the outdoor fire. The grounds were beautiful and so was the neighborhood. Loved staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at this quintessential mid-century home. ACME was incredibly responsive—especially when we had an urgent request—and made everything seamless. The house was spotless, bright, and filled with natural light, with plenty of comfortable spaces to relax both indoors and out. The pool was a perfect size for lounging, and the beautifully landscaped yard (complete with an orange tree!) offered amazing mountain views. The quiet location was ideal, with easy access to golf, hiking, and everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, and getting into the house was simple and straightforward. Overall, it truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

Mid Century Mesa is a great house. Outstanding quiet lovely neighborhood. Friendly neighbors. Less windy in the Mesa. The backyard is a stunner. Large private beautifully appointed. LOVE the cushy sun beds. Beautiful landscaping and views of the mountains. Large pool and hot tub. House is not huge but perfect for a couple. Very comfy beds with luxury linens. As others have mentioned the bathrooms are a challenge. Bizarre impractical sinks and the guest shower occasionally leaks due to less than stellar design Master bath is nicer. But who cares! This is a very very nice house ! We hated to leave after 21 days. Second stay here. Won't be the last.

This is a great home taken care by people who really care about their guests having a good time in a clean and well maintained home. The house was clean, beds and furniture in good shape and the pool and backyard was fantastic. The only complaint we could find with the entire stay was the vanity sinks in the bathroom are impossible to use and while are architecturally interesting, completely ineffective as bathroom sinks. Otherwise stay was perfect and highly recommended.

Our stay at Mesa Mid Century Modern was perfect in every way. The house was superb as were the amenities. The views were spectacular from the spacious back yard while sitting in the hot tub or enjoying the fire pit. The beds were very, very comfortable with fine linens. The garage was full of “toys” for the pool as well as bicycles. Leaving the house each day throughout our stay was difficult as the house and its amenities were so wonderful. Every detail well thought out. Mesa Mid Century Morden is very highly recommended.

I think my friends and I said “this house is soooo good!” at least 4x a day during our long weekend in Palm Springs. The outdoor space is incredible with multiple sitting areas, a great pool, hot tub and lounge beds. The interior was thoughtfully designed, felt so comfortable and easy. The beds were A+ too! We also loved that it’s walkable to South Palm Springs or just a $7 Lyft to downtown. I would re-book in a heartbeat.

Overall, the house was great and had everything we needed. The only suggestion we’d make is to have some details about operating the hot tub. Also, there was a subtle musty smell we were reminded of each time we returned to the house. It wasn’t overwhelming, but you might want to do something about it. That said, we would definitely stay here again - nice location, property, and amenities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was as beautiful as shown in the photos. The backyard pool area was so relaxing with lots of seating and an awesome jacuzzi and outdoor fire pit. We used the kitchen a lot and it had great amenities. The beds were very comfy. Most importantly the ACME staff were very responsive and accommodating to needs and any questions we had. We definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay in Palm Springs!

Such a fantastic place to stay. The home was well stocked with kitchen items and was very comfortable both inside and out. The patio and spa were a bonus! Mesa Mid Century was wonderful! Exactly as pictured. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the private backyard and pool, it was very quiet and has a beautiful view. Loved feeding and watching the humming birds too! The location of the property was perfect for us, less than a 5 min drive to everything we wanted to do. Very nice and safe neighborhood. Acme was responsive and helpful during our stay.

The house was beautiful and there were loads of kitchen utensils! Pool area is fabulous! Only slight issue was the sinks in bathroom which were weird shapes and couldn’t do any clothes handwash in them! Shower could be stronger but maybe that’s a Palm Springs issue. All in all it was a fabulous stay and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this home!

Overall impression of the property was good, though next time we'll probably try another property. The outside area, including pool, were excellent. The interior had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. However, some things seemed a bit dated (e.g., carpet, and the original bathrooms). There were no issues checking in, learning how to operate the various features of the home or checking out. The home and neighborhood were very quite and in a great location to get out and experience things. Overall Comment My husband and I rented this home for a week. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. I can't tell you how surprised and pleased we were upon entering the home. There was a bottle of wine and anniversary greetings waiting for us on the counter!! The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and so well stocked in the bathrooms and kitchen! Oh, and the back yard? Looked and felt like a high end resort! Our 21 year old grand daughter joined us from Ohio for three days and stated that she felt like a Kardashian with that atmosphere.

Overall Comment We just returned from staying at Mesa Mid-Century and we are already ready to return. The house is a great size for one or two couples. The privacy in the backyard is unbeatable as well as the location. Very close to the Palm Springs airport and tons of restaurants. Traveling during COVID-19 can be nerve racking but ACME went above and beyond on cleaning the home and providing masks, antibacterial and cleaning supplies. Overall the home, pool, hot tub and fire pit were everything we could have asked for to make our trip so wonderful! Highly recommended!

Overall Comment The house was in a great location, only a mile from the main drag of Palm Springs, but far enough away to make it feel like a secluded getaway. The house was fully stocked with everything and anything we needed. The backyard was beautiful, pool, jacuzzi, fire pit and BBQ were all well kept and easy to use. The house was immaculate when we first arrived, staff had left masks and hand sanitizer for us to use around town. Great experience, we will be back.

We LOVED our stay! Our family of four found this house to be the perfect size. There are no baby things provided but there are great local baby rentals in the area. All the dining areas feature glass tops so that’s something to consider. The home felt so homey. It was quite well equipped! There were books and board games, and Netflix. Kitchen had plenty of dish ware and cooking items. There is a separate ice maker for never ending ice and a dishwasher and cleaning supplies. The pool area is AMAZING. The neighborhood is lovely. We went for an short walk and admired the other stylish homes. It’s right next to a botanical garden that I wish was open at the the time. The view of the mountain from the backyard is so relaxing. We can’t wait to come back!

Overall Comment Wonderfully appointed home with a few small exceptions: no kettle, backdoor difficult to lock, no fitted sheet on master bed And one glaring annoyance: the sinks / faucets in both bathrooms were completely lacking in function. A beautiful yard but we would not rent this home again because of the sinks.

Overall Comment The Mesa Mid-Century house has a spacious 2-bedroom layout that is comfortably furnished, tastefully decorated and well maintained. The property is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood that is just a short drive from downtown, the airport and Cathedral City. Typical of Acme-managed properties, the house and grounds are clean and well maintained. The king-sized beds are very comfortable with fresh clean bedding and the bathrooms are adequately stocked with clean fluffy towels. The kitchen/dining amenities are of typical rental-property quality, are in good condition but more suitable for guests who prefer to dine out most nights. The backyard, pool and spa area is designed well for entertaining and recreation with generous seating/lounging options and a tranquil view of the mountains. Control of the spa temperature setting should be better defined in the house manual or preset/checked by management prior to guest arrival. Overall we enjoyed our 5-day vacation at this property. However there is a design detail of the house that we found functionally cumbersome and therefore tedious throughout our stay. The large shallow ultra-modern sinks in both bathrooms, although perhaps visually appealing to somebody, are awkward to use and messy and left very little useable counter space. Also the faucet controls were difficult to turn and had no texture or handle to grip, especially with wet hands.

If your looking for a clean, comfortable, relaxing stay look no further! Great communication every step of the way. The location was perfect, from local friendly neighbors to great food options only minutes away. The pool/spa and big back yard was extremely relaxing.

We loved this house and the experience so much that my husband and I extended are stay on day2 and are now dedicated to coming back and staying there quarterly! It was the perfect getaway and no detail was overlooked. Thank you Michelle and Acme - what a wonderful place!

Overall Comment i have been using acme for years now, the backyard including all furniture and pool was very dirty and dusty, i have sent a private email with the complaint and got no response, i am loyal acme customer and was very dissatisfied this time!!

The Mid-century Mesa house was great. We loved the decor of the house and the back yard with the pool and jacuzzi. All the bedrooms had great beds and bedding. The large windows made all the rooms bright and sunny. The patio furniture was very comfortable. We could not get the jacuzzi to heat up so we called Acme.... They were there in less than 15 minutes and fixed the issue in less than 5 minutes. Very impressive!!!!! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay as well as the bathrooms. We would definitely stay here again!!!!
