Mesa Mid-Century - Walk to South Palm Springs!

This is a great home taken care by people who really care about their guests having a good time in a clean and well maintained home. The house was clean, beds and furniture in good shape and the pool and backyard was fantastic. The only complaint we could find with the entire stay was the vanity sinks in the bathroom are impossible to use and while are architecturally interesting, completely ineffective as bathroom sinks. Otherwise stay was perfect and highly recommended.

Our stay at Mesa Mid Century Modern was perfect in every way. The house was superb as were the amenities. The views were spectacular from the spacious back yard while sitting in the hot tub or enjoying the fire pit. The beds were very, very comfortable with fine linens. The garage was full of “toys” for the pool as well as bicycles. Leaving the house each day throughout our stay was difficult as the house and its amenities were so wonderful. Every detail well thought out. Mesa Mid Century Morden is very highly recommended.

I think my friends and I said “this house is soooo good!” at least 4x a day during our long weekend in Palm Springs. The outdoor space is incredible with multiple sitting areas, a great pool, hot tub and lounge beds. The interior was thoughtfully designed, felt so comfortable and easy. The beds were A+ too! We also loved that it’s walkable to South Palm Springs or just a $7 Lyft to downtown. I would re-book in a heartbeat.

The house was clean, beautiful, but had an odd odor, which dissipated when doors were opened, likely cleaning chemicals used on cement floors, may also be tied to chemicals or paint used to color floors

Overall, the house was great and had everything we needed. The only suggestion we’d make is to have some details about operating the hot tub. Also, there was a subtle musty smell we were reminded of each time we returned to the house. It wasn’t overwhelming, but you might want to do something about it. That said, we would definitely stay here again - nice location, property, and amenities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was as beautiful as shown in the photos. The backyard pool area was so relaxing with lots of seating and an awesome jacuzzi and outdoor fire pit. We used the kitchen a lot and it had great amenities. The beds were very comfy. Most importantly the ACME staff were very responsive and accommodating to needs and any questions we had. We definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay in Palm Springs!

Such a fantastic place to stay. The home was well stocked with kitchen items and was very comfortable both inside and out. The patio and spa were a bonus! We enjoyed the fact they had bikes to ride and that it was such a great location for riding downtown! The staff responded quickly to all questions and I would highly recommend this place!

The house was beautiful and there were loads of kitchen utensils! Pool area is fabulous! Only slight issue was the sinks in bathroom which were weird shapes and couldn’t do any clothes handwash in them! Shower could be stronger but maybe that’s a Palm Springs issue. All in all it was a fabulous stay and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this home!

We had a great stay at this property! It was clean and great for the two of us. The location is perfect for quick trips to downtown as well as picking groceries and fitness centers. Just make sure you read the noise policy as we were unaware until we got there.

The property lived up to its online profile and provided us a 5 star hotel feeling with its appearance, cleanliness and attention to detail. Only item that we think should be better communicated to future renters is the very strict noise policy which we did not understand fully up until we arrived and started seeing the multiple signage.

Overall Comment We've wanted to stay here for years and finally had the opportunity to. The kitchen is well appointed, convenient location, bed was VERY comfortable and the backyard/pool area was private and perfect. The sinks and fixtures in the bathrooms are weird as far as function, but that shouldn't make you not want to stay here. Everything was perfect.

Overall Comment Mesa Med-Century was a pleasant surprise and very enjoyable. Pictures are always great when trying to determine where to stay and book. Though the pictures were nice, in person, it's even better. The layout, the flow and the furnishings were great. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were ideal, the beds comfortable. The backyard is the star of the property. The pool, spa, outdoor living and dining area, grill are all so beautiful The landscaping is the most special part. The palm trees are picture perfect, the orange tree beautiful, the cactus and succulents very nice. There is an outdoor fire pit, but we did not use it as the evenings were warm during Memorial Day weekend. We sat in the pool during the evenings. Perfect water temperature! The location of the house is great! The neighborhood where the house is located is beautiful. We will definitely book again when we return.

Overall Comment My husband and I rented this home for a week. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. I can't tell you how surprised and pleased we were upon entering the home. There was a bottle of wine and anniversary greetings waiting for us on the counter!! The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and so well stocked in the bathrooms and kitchen! Oh, and the back yard? Looked and felt like a high end resort! Our 21 year old grand daughter joined us from Ohio for three days and stated that she felt like a Kardashian with that atmosphere.

Mesa Mid-Century is the perfect getaway for hanging out around the pool and hot tub---seamless indoor/outdoor living! Immaculate landscaping, lots of patio furniture and a kitchen that has EVERYTHING. The orange tree and juice press--a California bonus! The quiet but close to everything neighborhood is perfect for strolling and a bike ride. Mountain views are wonderful. Acme is quick to respond--even warning us of an upcoming wind event and a fast response to yard/pool clean-up afterward. The oft-mentioned bathroom sinks warrant mentioning again...the design aesthetic is impressive...and makes them barely functional as sinks. The sleek faucet design is difficult (at best) to turn off with wet hands. I hope the homeowners stay sometime to understand what everyone notes in their reviews. Sinks aside, this home fulfills the Palm Springs Vacay Dream.

Overall Comment We loved this house and property. Location was great. Had one question for property management and it was answered immediately. Everything was clean and well set-up. This was the most well-equipped kitchen of any house we have rented. As other reviews have mentioned, the sinks in the bathrooms are of such eclectic designs as to be almost un-usable, especially in the master bath. However, this is the only negative I can mention. We would probably rent this house again on our next visit.

We LOVED our stay! Our family of four found this house to be the perfect size. There are no baby things provided but there are great local baby rentals in the area. All the dining areas feature glass tops so that’s something to consider. The home felt so homey. It was quite well equipped! There were books and board games, and Netflix. Kitchen had plenty of dish ware and cooking items. There is a separate ice maker for never ending ice and a dishwasher and cleaning supplies. The pool area is AMAZING. The neighborhood is lovely. We went for an short walk and admired the other stylish homes. It’s right next to a botanical garden that I wish was open at the the time. The view of the mountain from the backyard is so relaxing. We can’t wait to come back!

Overall Comment We just returned from staying at Mesa Mid-Century and we are already ready to return. The house is a great size for one or two couples. The privacy in the backyard is unbeatable as well as the location. Very close to the Palm Springs airport and tons of restaurants. Traveling during COVID-19 can be nerve racking but ACME went above and beyond on cleaning the home and providing masks, antibacterial and cleaning supplies. Overall the home, pool, hot tub and fire pit were everything we could have asked for to make our trip so wonderful! Highly recommended!

Overall Comment The house was in a great location, only a mile from the main drag of Palm Springs, but far enough away to make it feel like a secluded getaway. The house was fully stocked with everything and anything we needed. The backyard was beautiful, pool, jacuzzi, fire pit and BBQ were all well kept and easy to use. The house was immaculate when we first arrived, staff had left masks and hand sanitizer for us to use around town. Great experience, we will be back.

Overall Comment The Mesa Mid-Century house has a spacious 2-bedroom layout that is comfortably furnished, tastefully decorated and well maintained. The property is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood that is just a short drive from downtown, the airport and Cathedral City. Typical of Acme-managed properties, the house and grounds are clean and well maintained. The king-sized beds are very comfortable with fresh clean bedding and the bathrooms are adequately stocked with clean fluffy towels. The kitchen/dining amenities are of typical rental-property quality, are in good condition but more suitable for guests who prefer to dine out most nights. The backyard, pool and spa area is designed well for entertaining and recreation with generous seating/lounging options and a tranquil view of the mountains. Control of the spa temperature setting should be better defined in the house manual or preset/checked by management prior to guest arrival. Overall we enjoyed our 5-day vacation at this property. However there is a design detail of the house that we found functionally cumbersome and therefore tedious throughout our stay. The large shallow ultra-modern sinks in both bathrooms, although perhaps visually appealing to somebody, are awkward to use and messy and left very little useable counter space. Also the faucet controls were difficult to turn and had no texture or handle to grip, especially with wet hands.

Overall Comment We enjoyed our stay at the Mesa Mid Century property. The home is clean, nicely furnished and equipped to ensure you have everything you need to give you that home away from home feeling. The lovely and serene color palette in both the interior and exterior create a relaxed vibe and the pool is a great place to escape the relentless heat both night and day. In previous reviews, renters complained about the size of the refrigerator, but the owners obvously have addressed this concern by replacing the fridge with a full size model. I do concur that the master bath sinks are challenging to use. Once your hands are wet, it's impossible to turn the faucets on or off so you have to dry your hands before turning the water off (wasteful IMHO). We could not figure out how to turn on the waterfall feature or Netflix, but it wasnt a priority, so we didn't pursue with ACME. I would have rated the property five stars, but the overly rigid Palm Springs noise ordinance put a damper on our enjoyment of the outdoor spaces. My husband and I like to listen to NON amplified music from our iPad or phone while we swim, sit in the jacuzzi, sun or enjoy wine and a meal by the fire pit. However, you can not have music outside, at all, period. The financial penalties are steep and renters can be evicted. As a homeowner myself, I appreciate not wanting your neighborhood occupied by loud, partying, inconsiderate renters, but this ordinance is extreme and reduces the rental value of these

We loved our stay at Mesa Mid-Century. House was immaculate, comfortably furnished, well-equipped kitchen. Yard is gorgeous and private. Pool was warm and jacuzzi heated quickly and efficiently. Location is excellent, too. We spent a day in the Indian Canyons and a day in Palm Desert, both easily accessed. Evenings were in Palm Springs, plenty of places to choose from. All in all, a great getaway for two old college buddies to reconnect and recreate. Concierge service was a nice touch too. We enjoyed massages in the house with Topher (excellent touch).

ACME House Co. has a lot of great houses in Palm Springs, and are easier to deal with than Airbnb. The service is great, and the houses are very nice, especially the pool. I like dealing with an agency where I can talk to someone if there is a problem. The pool was great. Acme also took care of any problems we encountered quickly.

ACME House Co. is an easy to use company with great properties available. We loved the MCM style, proximity to downtown, the pool and spa, and the lovely neighborhood. We liked having the two bedrooms and the ice machine was a fantastic bonus! The house is lovely, well situated and very private. We really enjoyed our stay, and would book the property again without question. Having the ice machine was fantastic but it's also so loud that during the night it would wake us up thinking someone had broken into the home. For that reason alone, I see no reason to change! The best part of the property was the outdoor accommodations, and the biggest surprise was the lovely master bedroom suite. We chose this property for the style and availability. ACME House Co. made the entire renting process convenient offering an app with very handy instructions to make reservations, sign contacts, etc. We loved that they were flexible with our check-in, allowing us to check into the home 1.5 hours early as it was clean, and our flight was early. Acme was very accessible by either phone, or email, responding quickly. The best part was relaxing by the pool, and we loved the backyard areas which were awesome! The atmosphere of the house and yard created a great ambiance. We did have a couple of minor issues, the Ice maker had to be adjusted as it was way too loud and woke us up at night; the air conditioner wouldn't stay on to what we programmed it, but was ok; and the sink in the master bedroom was difficult to maneuver around, but that's just the chosen style. Overall an awesome place, and we WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING!

The best part was the pool, spa and fire pit. We were a bit surprised one room was much smaller than the other, and also, the grill could be in better shape. An overall excellent stay!

The check-in, and check-out were seamless. The air conditioning and music were on when we arrived. The house was well-equipped and had all the amenities we have come to expect, but seldom have received at other rentals. The quality of the rental, especially relative to the price was why we chose this property. All of the details were met, including paper towels, toiletries, towels and linens. ACME House Co. has nice properties and very good customer service. We have stayed at Acme properties in the past. The backyard of the Mesa MidCentury house, including the pool area was great. I called and requested a 2nd umbrella which Marvin sent over right away, truly though, that property should have 3 or 4 umbrellas by the pool area. Liked the house, but wouldn't rent it again because of style difference with the bathroom sinks and the closeness of the bedrooms to each other. Would recommend to friends!

The whole experience was great. The ACME House Co. staff was always helpful and professional. The house we stayed in far exceeded our expectations. The pictures really helped with descriptions of the property. This was the first time we stayed in a vacation rental vs a hotel and were extremely impressed. The home far exceeded our expections from the style, yard, and comfort, and we also really enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and the awesome ice maker. Well looked after. The pool, hot tub, and yard. Beautiful yard! Surprised by the gas fireplace outside.Yes. I would recommend an Acme House Co. stay to family and friends.

The layout of the house is fantastic. Very open and comfortable. The pool is perfect and the misters were a nice touch for sitting outside on a hot day. I was surprised by how comfortable the house was. It felt like it was my home and super relaxing. I will be back. Next time we are going to do it with our families.

Lovely grounds with beautiful mountain views and hot tub. No surprises...which was wonderful. Pictures / description were on the mark. Overall a great experience. Nice set up, beautiful grounds and excellent location.

Best part of the experience was Interactions during reservation process and the beautiful property! It was an absolutely efficient, secure check in. Upon arrival, we could see everything was checked. AC was running, music was playing, the house just said welcome! Keep up the good work! We are glad to know of a reputable and friendly management company for our future Palm Springs vacations.
