We had a lovely stay ! The pool was really fun and they heated it well for us. the bedrooms were very comfy and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. overall we had a really pleasant stay!

My family loved every minute of our Thanksgiving week getaway!! The house was everything we expected and had been hoping for. The neighborhood was so quiet and safe feeling. The hiking was so close and beautiful along with the amazing backyard! I would highly recommend this location if you travel to Palm Springs!

A few of my girlfriends from college stayed at this precious place over the weekend. It was beautiful inside/out, close to town and an easy uber ride anywhere we needed to go. We all highly recommend this stay. We can't wait to come back!

Great stay! Clean accommodations and great communication/responsiveness from the host. Stayed for Coachella weekend and location is close to a shuttle stop which was very convenient. Would highly recommend!

What a great find! The pool was a fantastic temperature and the spa got HOT! The house was perfect - decor was super fun and everything felt crisp and clean. This is our new go-to-spot in Palm Springs. BTW, visitors, check out the farmers market on Saturday - terrific produce.

We just had the most magical stay at the Mellow Yellow Butterfly. A truly transportive place and exactly the relaxing and inspiring trip we needed. The house has everything you could possibly need, and has so many cute touches that makes it feel truly special. So clean, so cute. The colors take you away, the fire pit and outdoor dining area is exactly what you need, and the pool and view cannot be beat. We pinched ourselves each day we were there. Don't hesitate. Book!

We had a wonderful relaxing week with another couple at Mellow Yellow. The house is a tribute to mid century modern design and furnishings, complete with a Shag print. The outdoor areas are plentiful and the pool and hot tub were pristine. The house was fully stocked with dishes for inside and out, even though we ate at all of the fabulous PS restaurants. This house was even better than advertised -- we highly recommend!

We were very happy with our stay at the Mellow Yellow Butterfly, the attention to detail, down to the mid-century house replica tissue box in the main bedroom just increased the fun during our stay there. It was great to be able to have breakfast on the patio and then walk a few steps to the pool for the day. The well-stocked kitchen and outdoor grill area allowed us to stay in and just enjoy the time together with our friends and family. Views of the mountains and palm trees from the pool area gave our stay a true vacation feel. We are figuring out how we can start scheduling a yearly visit.

The Mellow Yellow Butterfly is perfect, our family had a great time staying there. The house is beautiful and so well appointed. The pool is lovely, the beds are extra comfortable, the vibe is so relaxing… we did not want to leave! This was our second vacation in an Acme house and, once again, everything was top-notch. Overall Comment The house was perfect for our little family with a 7 year old grandson. Lots to do during the day, hiking in the mountains and desert and swimming every day and evening after cooking in the fully sticked kitchen. Overall Comment We had the most amazing time at this property. This was our second time in Palm Springs and we absolutely loved this house (previously we stayed at Colony Palms Hotel). The property was even nicer in person than the description/photos. It was spotlessly clean, with very impressive high quality decor. Great mattresses! The neighborhood so extremely quiet and is a wonderful place for a walk to see other mid-century modern homes. We would absolutely recommend this property to our friends and family, and can't wait to come back. It is located a short drive from the Palm Springs downtown. We mostly got take out dinners and enjoyed them at our beautiful outdoor space by the fire pit.

Such a fun property! Very well stocked and organized. Beds and rooms are very nice and comfortable and the kitchen was perfect. The patio and pool are amazingly well done! The patio furniture was great and though it was too hot to use the fire pits they looked so fun. Stayed with our three little kids for 4 days and it was very nice :)

Stayed for a week in this charming cozy home. The neighborhood felt quiet and safe. The home had all the kitchen gear you could want and the pool was fab. Sliding doors to the pool area need some work as they have been heavily used and tend to stick. The master was comfy especially the bed slept great. Would totally stay here again.

Overall Comment We stayed at this property from April 30th - May 15th, 2019. The house was spotless. Very bright and cheerful. We hated to leave. This home is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood, a convenient location. I was extremely impressed with Acme right from the get go. They were there to answer any of our questions we had. Every employee we met was friendly and accommodating. Furniture is so comfortable around pool area. There were many amenities. We had so much fun that we didn’t go out much. In case you are new to the area, here are some suggestions for restaurants: There is Pinocchio’s for breakfast. Great Eggs Benedict, Sherman’s Deli has fantastic sandwiches and desserts. Tropicale has a good happy hour with outdoor seating. Make sure you order the chicken. Really good drinks too. We found “the purple room” where the rat pack used to hang out. It is definitely worth a stop. Lastly, we liked the Daily Grill in Palm Desert on Paseo Drive. And from what I hear, John Henry’s is a hidden gem. I would rent this place again in a heartbeat.

This past weekend my girlfriends and I stayed at the Mellow Yellow Butterfly ACME home!! It was nothing short of amazing. The property has amazing views, an incredible out door area and is fairly close to everything. Not walking distance but a short 5 min drive. To say we had a blast would be an understatement. We absolutely love this ACME house. It was decorated perfectly for a Palms Springs weekend vibe and we all agreed if we were ever back we wouldn't even search for a better place. This is the one!!! There were 5 of us but the house could easily fit 6. If you are looking to spend a weekend in this town then hands down this is the house to stay at.

Overall Comment Great house, good service. Had a very relaxing time. Beds and linen great. Lots of supplies. Great location. Check in and out easy. Its super unfortunate about the whole new noise ordinance thing. I live in a tourist town and I hope it doesn't happen to us! We felt like we were being watched with the 3 noise monitors we found. Which were not accurate. At 930pm we were playing ping pong in the house with the door open and we got a call saying our music was too loud. We never had the music on once because we were too scared of getting kicked out. I couldn't even imagine having kids in that pool, you cant make a lot of noise even during the day. You have to realize its not the house its the area now. Hopefully they will dial back the rules in years to come.

Overall Comment We absolutely loved our time at the Mellow Yellow Butterfly. It wa the perfect spot to spend a weekend in PS. We have stayed at the Ace or other homes before and this was leaps and bounds better. They provided everything you could need for your trip and some items you didn’t even realize you needed! The pool was wonderful, the kitchen had everything, and the actual space was great. The beds were super comfy and the neighborhood was very easy to get to. The game room was a delight and to top it all off, it was so instagram worthy! I would recommend this spot to families and groups of friends alike. Plenty of space to go into another room to get away from people of you need to, and we never felt cramped.

I could not have asked for a better first visit to Palm Springs with this beautiful, retro-chic home. Myself and 5 other friends escaped LA for the weekend to enjoy a little fun in the sun. This house had EVERYTHING we could've asked for and more! From the pool to the outdoor grill and 3 bedrooms, we were very comfortable and never needed to leave the house. It was by far the best home away from home I have ever stayed at. I will definitely be back!

This house is 100. It's conveniently located for trips into town; it's situated on the lot ideally to soak up sun and mountain views with zero road noise; it's appointed to perfection with everything discerning guests could want in a desert getaway. The thoughtfulness put into this house sets it several notches above other houses I've rented in the area over the course of 8 years. Mid-century modern lovers will geek out over the beautiful butterfly roofline and authentic interior design and gorgeous furniture. Picky vacationers will love the selection of cooking, dining, and entertainment options--from coffee makers, to cutlery, to citrus presses. And for those of us who just want a picture-perfect spot to melt away our stress, the under-palm hammock, tranquil pool, and outdoor fire pits are oh-so-soothing. I can't rave enough about this property: it's lush without being obscene, environmentally-appropriate without being austere. The indoor/outdoor kitchen-bbq arrangements are an entertainer's dream. If you're looking for a sophisticated spot, you must try mellow yellow butterfly.

Fantastic vacation at Mellow Yellow Butterfly. Acme sets a high bar. Their homes are amazing and Acme is very responsive to the slightest issue. I had a slight wifi problem that was resolved in about 5 minutes. An adjustment to the pool temperature was handled in an hour. This is the second time we've used Acme and really appreciate the extra steps - like meeting me at the house upon arrival - to make sure the visit goes well.

We just returned from our wonderful vacation in Palm Springs staying in the Mellow Yellow home. The home was fantastic, just the right size for my husband and me, with everything we could ever need. It was immaculate, beautiful and well located. So cute, especially the phenomenal outdoor pool, kitchen, fire, and lounge areas. We loved it! Acme was so easy to work with as well!

We were lucky enough to stay at Mellow Yellow Butterfly for my bachelorette party, and this was one of the best vacations I have ever been on. This vacation home had it all - stylish, modern decor, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a hot tub/pool in the back with breathtaking views of the mountains. The house is just a short drive away from shopping, restaurants, hiking, and the airport - you really can't ask for more! We felt at home right away and didn't want our relaxing vacation to end. I will definitely be back to enjoy another stay at Mellow Yellow Butterfly!

We just can't say enough good things about this vacation home rental. Mellow Yellow Butterfly is clean, comfortable and feels like a model home but like a real home at the same time. Kitchen was well stocked. The beds were really nice. Everyone had great sleeping nights. The back yard was over the top amazing. Super mountain views. A fire pit like we have never seen before. And a really cool outdoor shower. This place had it all.

Our family had a wonderful vacation at the MYB! The teen boys could not get enough of the ping pong room, the pool and oddly enough endless sports on the big screen TV. We originally planned to dine about town and explore the area but found we could not bear to leave our beautiful nest. A quick handy grocery shop and a couple fun meal deliveries and we were set. We cant wait to return.

This is a beautifully decorated in Palm Springs mid century modern from head to toe. It is a delight to look at and just so much fun. The attention to detail in the amenities is unparalleled by any vacation home I've stayed in. Anything you could want or need during your stay, had already been thought of and provided: skewers for BBQing, plastic ice cubes to keep your drinks cool, but not water them down, on trend floats for pool instagram magic. This house has something for everyone: a hammock and shaded patio for those looking to relax, a pool, jacuzzi and fire pit for plenty of group hangout spots, a great indoor AND outdoor kitchen. We had a lovely girls weekend here and could not have enjoyed our stay more- we barely left the house!

Friends of ours invited us out for a few days while they rented this vacation home. We were blown away by the attention to detail, the fabulous space planning and the absolutely stunning mid mid design. Mellow Yellow Butterfly is made for fun! We smiled and laughed (and drank wine) the entire time. The most amazing part is that where ever we wanted to hang out on the property (and there were lots of choices) there was always enough room for everyone in the group. Can't say enough about how wonderful this property is and how gorgeous it looks.

We were consistantly blown away by this house. It has everything we needed and more. The house was the perfect amount of room for 6 adults and two babies. The kitchen comes fully loaded, the pool has tons of loungers and floaters, and the garage has tons of games. Big flat screens in every room with Nest AC control. Oh and the kitchen has chef grade pots, pans, knives. We shall return!

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at the mellow yellow butterfly. My husband and I were looking for a relaxing getaway to bring our 5 week old newborn daughter and this home was just what the doctor ordered! The house is mid century modern but you can tell it's been completely updated and the decor is very tastefully done. The kitchen is fully stocked with every item you could ever possibly need, including 3 types of coffee machines! I loved that all the bedrooms are all brightly lit with natural light but also have shades to keep the room darker if you prefer. The beds were so comfortable that we slept in for once in our lives and even our new baby got her first 6 hours of straight sleep :) . The backyard and pool have every amenity you need, including fun pool floats, a ping pong table, outdoor shower, fire-pit, a nice big BBQ with outdoor kitchen and a hammock. We spent most of our time hanging by the pool and grilling on the BBQ and even set up a beautiful al Fres'co dinner on the outdoor dining table. Last but certainly not least is the beautiful view of palm trees and mountains that look like something out of a postcard! Needless to say, we would recommend this house to all of our friends!

Me, my wife and my son were visiting from France and had a wonderful experience at Mellow Yellow Butterfly. It is conveniently located in Palm Springs, close to the airport and downtown. The house was perfect for the 4 of us, and our son had a blast in the nice swimming pool, while we were having cocktails and relaxing on the multiple outside tables and hammock. The garage and the ping pong table were also a plus, to keep our 5 year old busy. We'd definitely stay at this house again, when we go back to Palm Springs!

We stayed with my 2 cousins and their son for three days at this beautiful and charming house. It is located in a quiet and clean neighborhood of Palm Springs, minutes from downtown. Palm trees and the view of the mountain from the backyard are simply gorgeous and breathtaking. The house is furnished with taste, quality and nice furniture. It is obvious that the place has been recently remodeled. The bedrooms are spacious and bright. I could NOT say enough about the awesome beds, where I actually slept better than at home... We loved the attention to details, such as the cool posters (very Palm Springs) and the floats for the swimming pool! I do recommend!

I loved the Mellow Yellow Butterfly house, I stayed with my wife and 8 year old on an escape from LA weekend and what a relaxing and comfortable house. The attention to detail is fantastic. Staying in a mid-century modern house that was tastefully modified to add modern amenities with a great heated pool and hot tub really relaxed the whole fam so we could chill and just do a few Palm Springs hikes and outings. The outdoor kitchen is so practical and the fireplace was nice to hang out at after a night swim, San Jacinto mountain is super stunning from the deck chairs and the outdoor shower is just fun! We will come back to Mellow Yellow Butterfly very soon!
