This remodeled property features iconic midcentury architecture and gorgeous designer furniture. The artwork reflects the owners' love of Classic Rock-N-Roll - including The Beatles, Elton John, Mick Jagger and Fleetwood Mac.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
Completely walled for privacy, the entire property feels like an upscale resort. Around every corner is another fabulous Wow Factor! Large saltwater pool and waterfall spa - plus the pool even has a tanning deck. Fabulous fire pit lounge. Shaded outdoor dining area that seats up to 8 - there's even a built-in BBQ and bar area that seats up to 10. There's Ping Pong, lush desert landscaping and fabulous mountain views. This property is a true vacation oasis.

** The pool will be heated to 83 degrees upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. Spa heating is included with your rental at no extra cost **

INDOOR LIVING SPACES
This fabulous vacation home has been perfectly planned for comfort and relaxing in the sunshine! It’s bright and spacious. The owners use this home often so you can be sure it’s impeccably clean and well-maintained. Spectacular walls of glass let the light pour in - revealing the very private pool yard. The kitchen, living and dining areas are all open to each other, perfect for spending time with your entire group.

This property has been updated for the way we live today - with high-speed internet, 5 flat screen televisions, high performance climate control and a well stocked kitchen featuring upgraded stainless steel appliances. There is even a 240V outlet available for charging electric vehicles.

** The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. **

SLEEPING QUARTERS
Each of the four bedrooms feature a hotel-quality mattress, a flatscreen TV and ample storage. There are two Master Suites - each with a King bed and en suite bath. The third and fourth guest rooms share easy access to the hallway bath. The fourth guest room has a King bed that can be converted to two Twins.

THE LOCATION
Centrally located in the heart of Palm Springs just a short stroll from Ruth Hardy Park - and very close to the world famous Palm Canyon Drive as it cuts through the Uptown Design District. The public tennis courts are just a few blocks away. The Historic El Mirador section of Palm Springs is a fabulous walking neighborhood with huge estates and strong ties to Hollywood History.

  • Greater than 48 hours from Booking and between 8 & 29 days prior to arrival, guests will receive a partial refund of 50% of all Reservation Charges, except Booking Fee.

We (5 girl friend's) decided to head to Palm Springs for a 40th birthday. In looking at the listing we knew this was the perfect rental for us and we couldn’t have been happier! From the comfort of the rooms, to the items in the kitchen & the perfect backyard we didn’t think it could get better….and then fell in love with the multiple orange trees and juicer. We enjoyed mimosas with fresh orange juice and were in heaven. You can’t go wrong with this location if you’re hoping to be close to downtown, grocery stores, Starbucks (:)) and driving distance to Joshua Tree Park & Indian Canyons.

We stayed at Fab Four at El Mirador and had a fantastic stay minus having to cut our trip early due to a hurricane visiting the area. The beds were some of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in. Decor beautiful and the backyard was a good time. We could not play music outside but I suspect that is for all rentals. Highly recommend.

The Fab Four house made our trip to Palm Springs truly special. The home itself is beautiful and updated with extremely comfy beds, spacious primary suite, and well stocked kitchen. The backyard is stunning and had literally everything we could have wanted. We found ourselves choosing to stay home and hang in the backyard with the perfect pool, spa, ping pong table, bbq, and loungers. It was private with beautiful views of the mountains. Great spot to stay. Kitchen had all the things needed on a vacation. Master bedroom huge, shower great. Other 3 bedrooms were cool too. Loved the decorating. Close to downtown, a movie theater, and casino. Pool was like bath water in late June (lovely) and plenty areas to sit outside. Coming from Seattle, the heat was a LITTLE too much for us though - but we had a wonderful time!

Overall Comment You will love this home inside and out. We enjoyed our stay and the home felt like a mini resort. Everything we needed was onsite for a relaxing work vacation. Our only issue was the noise ordinance. We were concerned and uncomfortable about even laughing too loud. So, if you're not looking for a quiet space to relax, this may not be the location for you.

Overall Comment This is one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in. Decorated beautifully, laid out in an amazing way. Amenities were awesome. Absolutely zero complaints and plan to stay again! Of note (this is NOT a house issue, this is a city of Palm Springs ordinance)- they have a zero tolerance policy for any noise outside the home in the backyard- speakers, yelling, anything- and it is serious. Please review before you rent, as this was a letdown as we were a group of women that would have loved to listen to our country music poolside.

We are glad that you loved the property, and it is unfortunate that the City of Palm Springs "Good Neighbor" rules impacted your enjoyment. These rules are in place throughout Palm Springs, as the city feels that this is the necessary to ensure that those staying in any of the beautiful residential neighborhoods are able to enjoy the peace, quiet and safety that Palm Springs is known for.

Overall Comment I rented the house for my 30th birthday long weekend with some friends and the house was lovely. Not only were the accommodations nice but the appliances were all quite new and the outdoor space was wonderful. Additionally, the neighbors had some construction going on and ACME called me about a week in advance to notify me and also offered % off my stay or access to another house. I was completely blown away by how proactive they were with this "issue" that really didn't turn out to be much of a problem.

Golden Girls Palm Springs Retreat

Overall Comment Four friends for almost 40 years, now living on opposite coasts chose El Mirador as our vacation retreat. We needed to relax after one of the most stressful years in history and chose Palm Springs specifically for the peace, quiet and views. This home is exactly as pictured and described on-line. Spacious, clean, functional and with breathtaking view of the mountains from the pool’s tanning shelf. Acme House Company was fabulous to deal with. This trip we chilled at the house 90% of the time but have already started planning for our next trip - to include more hiking, shopping, dining and golf - all of which are super close by !

We have been renting vacation homes in PS for over 15 years so we’ve seen a lot. This one is very good. The backyard is beautiful and has everything you need plus more. The house was very clean and well decorated, though a bit generic. Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, good showers. Everything felt fresh and in good working order. The two negatives I would share (nothing is perfect!) are 1) the living area is very small. The oversized master bedroom should be made smaller and more space given to the common space. 2) the managers prevented the a/c from being set below 73 which left the master bedroom too hot. We called twice about this and were able to get them to change the setting, but for the price, it seemed inappropriate to be forced to have an economical setting. Overall this is a fantastic property and our group had a wonderful time.

Overall Comment We had a wonderful time - 2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 children (7 and 11) - mostly swimming or using the hot tub spa. We ate all our meals outside on the expansive table. Good for Covid times. Nicely furnished, polished concrete floors throughout. Thankfully dog friendly so we all had a good time. A large park nearby was a bonus. Small detail - the Grohe shower controllers were nearly incomprehensible for everyone. Could use plastic wine glasses.

This is a fantastic VRBO property. Well equipped with solid appliances and cooking tools. Outdoor bbq is great, as is the outdoor table and bar. The pool/hot tub is the best we have had in a property, everyone loved it. The home itself is remodeled to current and in great shape. Zero issues, we’ll be back. Location is good, suggest a nice walk to Ernst for morning coffee. A+ - rent with confidence.

We had a great time with family to just to get away from everything and this was a great and very clean house to stay in. The location was perfect as well!! We would definitely stay there again with the killer set up in the back yard there was enough to do for the kiddos and adults.

Fantastic Stay

Overall Comment We spent one month at the Fab Four home in El Mirador and it was hard to leave! Loved the location - close enough to walk to Palm Canyon Drive for coffee each morning and a quick 5-10 minute drive to many of the shops & restaurants in Palm Springs. 20-30 mins if going to Palm Desert or La Quinta. The house is perfectly situated if you’re looking for the best light/sun exposure in the winter months. The house itself is extremely well planned, well decorated with a great layout. The beds and pillows are very comfortable (I’m super picky about this!) and nice linens. The living room is a tad small but ample enough as you don’t spend much time inside (with the master bedroom sitting area right off the living area it helped accommodate needed space) Plenty spaces & internet capacity for WFH along w/ online school for students. We did quite a bit of cooking & did contribute whisks and spatulas (as noted were missing by previous guests) but there are great supplies of plates, dishes silverware & serving pieces. While the cookware is ample a few non-stick pans would be nice. The yard is definitely the highlight and is one of the best you will find. The bar with built in bbq was so great! The outdoor table seats 8-10. Very comfortable seating around the fire pit. Lovely integrated hot tub/spa and pool. Just enough grass with very well manicured grounds. Overall Comment The whole family stayed at Fab Four last week of August to celebrate our wedding anniversary and hubby's birthday...and what a week to remember! In spite of the 110 degrees weather we enjoyed both the house and the yard equally. The house was very comfy for everyone. If you are foodies like we are and just want to cook at home, the kitchen is well equipped and roomy enough for everyone to participate. The barbecue was also working perfectly well. The outdoor is very pleasant. We mostly hung in the pool during the day and sat around the firepit at night. Definitely a beautiful lush yard with fantastic mountain views. Great house! Great yard! Great time!
