INDOOR LIVING SPACES
Absolutely stunning vacation home. Gorgeous and sophisticated but casual and comfortable at the same time. The inside features a fabulous open floor plan and sliding floor-to-ceiling walls of glass that let the light pour in, blurring the lines between indoor-outdoor living. The well-appointed chef’s kitchen - which features a 60 inch refrigerator, 2 dishwashers, a wine cooler, a center island, and more - is open to the dining and living areas where you can enjoy jaw-dropping mountain views.

There is even a movie room with a comfortable sofa that can be converted to a California King bed, a flatscreen TV, and direct access to a patio.

SLEEPING QUARTERS
Both bedrooms feature a comfortable hotel-quality mattress, a flatscreen TV, and ample storage. The spacious Primary Suite will take your breath away! It features a King bed and a fabulous ensuite bathroom - the shower even has a steam unit. This bedroom also has direct access to the pool yard and spectacular mountain views, you can even slide all the glass doors open! The Guest Suite features a King bed, an ensuite bathroom, and direct access to a patio area. There is also a full guest bathroom in the hallway.

Here you’ll be just minutes away from the South Palm Springs Business District and the world-famous Palm Canyon Drive! 100% Refund for Cancellations within 48 Hours of Making Booking.
30 days or more prior to the Arrival date, ACME House Company will process a 100% refund of all Reservation Charges, except the Booking Fee. 
Greater than 48 hours from Booking and between 8 & 29 days prior to arrival, guests will receive a partial refund of 50% of all Reservation Charges, except Booking Fee.
7 days or less prior to arrival, 100% of All Reservation Charges are considered earned.

We were so excited to find 3rd Rock on VRBO. It looked fabulous online. When we arrive on property, the pictures did not disappoint. It’s a beautiful property. Immaculate. Every view of the mountains. The yard is an oasis. When we had a little challenge Hearing the spa, property management was there within 15 mins to correct the problem. Our every need was met. It’s a beautiful property that doesn’t disappoint in any way. We will definitely rent this property again: early and often!

Loved our stay

Loved our stay at Third Rock. They seemed to think of everything and had all the tech perks too. Having all the condiments in the fridge and all the luxuries you could ask for made our stay wonderful. Everything in the house and kitchen was top of the line. The only downside was they didn't have proper frying pans. The pans they had were poor quality and took a lot of elbow grease to clean. Some of the highlights were two dishwashers, the Meile micro/oven. The built in sound system, integrated Apple TV and Netflix into each big screen TV, the remote blinds and curtains, the steam room in the master shower, the powered master bed, the outdoor heaters, the misting station, the hot tub jets, the mountain views, etc. The only downside are the power lines running across the view of the mountains. All in all its a gorgeous place that's well kept with a lot of amenities and good supportive service.

An Exotic Modern Escape ??

I had the pleasure of staying at 3rd Rock for 3 days and it was truly everything and more than I could have ever anticipated! This place is truly from the future! All of the technology in this house made it feel as though I was living in 2034! The space is so open, clean and minimalist. The Pool, the Jacuzzi, the Fireplace, the Mist machine were all a joy to experience! My favorite thing was how the entire house is controlled by a panel on the wall. That made everything so effortless and smooth! I also enjoyed the decor, and had to indulge in taking photos in every corner of this beautiful home. The master bedroom shower also as a steamer which is an experience everyone should have! The neighbors are very friendly and it's very quiet in the neighborhood. You can hear the birds chirping and every moment felt like I was miles away from the city life. That being said, you are only about a 10 minute drive away from a bunch of great restaurants and stores. I highly recommend staying here as a couple or if you want to take beautiful photos in a beautiful home! My only bad thing to say is I wish I could have stayed longer and will most certainly come back! Thank you for this amazing experience and time. - Legend

Minimalist Masterpiece

We stayed at 3rd Rock for 4 nights in October. The house is beautiful. Everything is extremely high end, especially the appliances in the kitchen. The home's decor is modern and minimalist. There isn't any clutter. The owner's provide everything you might need (except facial tissue). There are ample instructions provided on how to use all the features of the home. The pool area is very private and quiet. The hot tub is wonderful and is controlled by a tablet on the wall. In fact you can control all the features of the house from the same tablet. The two bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds, and attached bathrooms. There is no tub. The master bath has a steam shower. The garage is spotless and was more than big enough to accommodate our larger rental Jeep. We used the very large gas grill every night. We loved our stay here. It is a perfect place for a quiet get away for one or two couples.

3rd Rock is a beautiful home. We enjoyed our stay there very much. Technology ladened, well appointed kitchen, nice patio, pool and spa, and comfortable bedrooms/ beds. Liked the separate/comfortable TV room, with 80” TV. The location was good… quiet with great views of the mountains. Lastly, Acme was high on the service… responded and attended to requests rapidly. We rented the 3rd rock home from Acme. One of the best stays we have ever had. Acme knows how to do vacation rental homes right. Everyone there is so accommodating. From Reservation till the time you leave. This home was unbelievable! It had a steam shower, bidet, electric curtains, chefs kitchen, extra large sliding glass windows for outside living. The best pillows a mattresses. This house was super clean. I feel most vacation homes are dirty. Will be back for sure!!

This place is nuts! Not only did ACME find us a place with zero notice, they gave us three options of which this was the one we chose. The price is steep but our vacation is the place we stay! We just chill and lay by the pool etc. The neighborhood and the rod up to the house is awesome. It's set back up in a canyon and still close to stores and downtown is 5-10 minute drive. Doordash and grocery delivers too! The house is done to perfection. I do remodeling for a living and this place blew my mind. The master shower is see through from the bed! It has a steam shower also and bidet type toilet seats. There are two masters but one is next to the pool and has the killer shower. The other is large with it's own large bathroom, coffee maker etc. and looks like a 5 star hotel complete with robes. Every utensil you can think of is in the very well appointed kitchen. High-end appliances throughout. There are no steps anywhere, so for us, that's a huge plus. The garage has two really nice bicycles and the floors is epoxy paint, nice. I parked a crew-cab truck in the garage. This is the second time renting from ACME. The first time we didn't care for the location, so they moved us into a much more expensive house in Indian Canyon and they covered most of the extra cost! This trip? We renten thru airbnb and we were dismayed at the condition of the house! So we called ACME, they hooked us up with this place. We were the 3rd family to stay in this house. It has everything you could want but...

Our second stay at this Airbnb in Palm Springs was nothing short of fantastic. The property is even better than advertised, with plenty of space for our group and all the amenities we needed, including a beautiful pool and Jacuzzi which were perfect to refresh after a hot day. This is our second time renting from Acme with their 3rd Rock property and had another amazing time. The house is gorgeous and modern with all the electronic gadgets that could be needed. The view is amazing of the mountains and the valley and this neighborhood is super quiet. I also enjoying the little touches, like being able to use the Peloton in the garage, starter toiletries if you happened to have forgotten something, and a concierge, who will meet you at the property upon arrival to walk you through the house and ensue you know how everything works. Overall, this is a super high-end, tech-forward and peaceful property in a super chill neighborhood that would be perfect for anyone wanting to fully relax and enjoy being perched up among gorgeous scenery.

Amazing in every way

This house was designed by someone who cared about every detail and ensured that guests would be well taken care of. The views are unmatched in Palm Springs, with mountains on 3 sides along with a lovely view of the valley floor (including the windmills in the distance at night, which have blinking red lights at night that add to the show(. When you are floating in the pool, if you look at the wall of glass doors across the back of the house, you can see the mountains reflected in them - same thing when sitting at the massive kitchen island - the black backsplash reflects the pool and the mountains behind it. Come in the wide glass front door and you are treated to a beautiful view of the pool and mountains - look back through the door and you are treated to a view of the mountain behind the house. Master bedroom, with another set of sliding glass panels, provided another amazing view of the pool and mountains. The fire feature in the back yard called 3rd Rock (a version of the globe with fire inside it) added another nice touch. Overall, the views could have been enough for a 5 star review on this house while there is so much more. As this is a fully smart house, we were able to control almost everything from touchscreens and connected remotes in almost every room. Open/close the drapes, turn on the TV and change volume/channels, adjust the light color for the pool at night, lock and unlock the front door, turn on the misters, and so much more. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms...

Hidden Gem in the Desert

We arrived late from the U.K. with our two young children and we beyond taken aback at this hidden gem in the mountains of the Palm desert hills we had found. It is breathtaking in every way. After a long 26hour flight we arrived to the perfect family home where they have thought of absolutely everything. The design and layout is so ideal for a family or group so you are all together in a stunning open plan space! The house was bigger than the pictures projected and the setting is tranquil and peaceful. With stunning views. The kids were in awe with all the TEC designs in the home. Remote control beds, automatic toilets and doors / blinds. We love it and hope to return year after year!

This house was such a beautiful place to stay! The owner thought of everything. The design is amazing, the beds are comfortable, the electronic features made it really luxurious, and it's the best stocked kitchen in terms of utensils so we had a great time cooking. The master bedroom with the corner slider was our favorite part, we loved having them all the way open at night once the sun went down. We can't wait to stay here again!

Beautiful Home.

The house is beautiful. There is no doubt about that. It’s well appointed and everything works well and is new. Acme has it all figured out and their service is great as always. There are two bikes to use and also a Peleton. So, bring your shoes! The only thing is, if you require privacy or like an oassis kind of feel this might not be for you. The backyard has multiple homes that can see in. A bit like a fishbowl. The neighbour to the left albeit friendly looks into yard constantly and smokes. He has a deck that looks into backyard and a deck that looks into the TV room. We kept the blackout shades down at all times in that room. The front door is all glass so people waking by can look into house as well. You are not allowed to use that door which was awkward with groceries and food deliveries. I feel people renting should know these details about the house. Beds are very firm. Some may like, some may not. As for Acme, their service is impeccable. I lost a piece of jewelry and Tod was amazing with helping me after check out. They are the best in PS for sure.

We were excited to stay at 3rd Rock, based on the online photos, but when we walked in for the first time, we had a collective sigh of "ahhhh". The home is beautifully appointed, clean and organized, with a lovely logical open floor plan. The decor is classy and simple (not at all like some other rentals that overdo the Palm Springs bright color vibe). The pool and spa were heaven sent for us and we look forward to another visit to Paradise. Acme was attentive to our needs and genuinely cared about our experience. Thank you!

Our stay at 3rd Rock was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the Araby Cove area of Palm Springs, we were surrounded by nature and the peace and quiet of the beautiful neighborhood, whilst only being a short drive from the downtown area. The house is perfectly designed for relaxation and socialization whilst giving you that touch of Palm Springs architecture you crave when visiting. We spent hours cooking in the impeccable kitchen, swimming in the huge pool and unwinding in the jacuzzi. The owners have gone the extra mile by making sure there is everything we could possibly need for our stay, from every essential piece of cooking equipment you can think of, to workout equipment, to pool floaties. We really were able to shed the stress of New York City and unwind for the week. Most definitely will be staying again.

This home is beyond stunning - my wife and I could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Close to town, stunning day & evening views, walls open to the pool/spa area, kitchen to die for, and it is Palm Springs! FYI - do the PS Gondola ride to the top of mountain for a terrific experience (round gondola floor rotates 360 degrees while ascending) and enjoy lunch at the lodge. Perfect getaway! Wish we could have stayed for a month.
