Mountain-view retreat with amazing views of Palm Desert city lights & pool

This was our third or fourth time staying at this amazing home - we love it! Location is awesome - great views, and super quiet. The beds are comfy, the a/c works great, and we love the pool.

While the weather was a little too cool to enjoy the pool (December), we did sit outside during the day and in the mornings to enjoy the views and the sunshine. The house is very private and quiet perched atop the backdrop of El Paseo. Although a five minute drive to the bottom where the main streets are, it was very easy to get to and from the shopping area. Warning the drive up and down is a little scary with a winding, room for one car road. If you know to expect it then you will be fine. There is not a lot of traffic since there are very few houses on the road. My only negative is the kitchen is a bit small if you are looking to cook and make a more than simple meal. The layout is awesome with two master suites on each side of the house giving ultimate privacy for guests. Great main area of the house to hang out and enjoy the views. Really fabulous views! Super relaxing!

The agent communication was sterile and impersonal. Regardless, the property was outstanding. It’s extremely private and may not be for everyone because of its isolation.My wife and I would not hesitate to return to this location.

The layout of the home is great for a balance of privacy and communal areas. Stand-out was the view and pool area. We had planned activities, but hardly wanted to leave the property. Comfortable lay-out with everything you need on hand. Nice kitchen, living/dining. The beds are very comfortable, providing for a restful night's sleep. Would highly recommend this property. Hated to leave!

The home was gorgeous! Very private with stunning panoramic views of the valley. The pool & spa were both lovely especially with the blooming flowers surrounding the whole patio area. 10/10 we would recommend this spot to anyone looking to vacation in Palm Desert.

I've stayed here a few times because it's so amazing. It's become my new favorite destination and have actually been planning trips around when I can go to this house. Perfectly private but so close to incredible bars and restaurants. Clean and luxurious. INCREDIBLE view.

If you wanted to list all the attributes you would need for the location of your perfect getaway, Cliff House checks all the boxes. All the amenities are first class. Pool and spa were perfect, the view of the valley is unparalleled, and the privacy was unbelievable. You are only five minutes from shopping and dining on El Paseo. High marks on this property across the board. We will rent this again in the future

The house is very comfortable. The views from the pool and patio are amazing. The drive up the winding, narrow (but paved) mountain road is not a problem...and we had a large Chevy Suburban. The house is well stocked with pretty much everything you will need. We had an issue with the pool heat and it was addressed immediately.

Perfect private getaway with all the amenities! Nice kitchen with everything we needed. We stopped at the grocery store before checking in and didn't leave until we had to check out. The pool was perfect for the two of us for morning, noon and night swims. Second visit here for us and plan on booking again the next chance we can.

I started out staying here every time I was in Palm Desert, but it's so perfect that I've started planning trips to visit the house itself, rather than the other way around. The best way to explain it is this: all the comforts of home with all the luxuries of a 5-star resort. Absolutely amazing views, impeccable interior design, and the secluded location makes for a spa-like atmosphere. And just a 3 minute drive to downtown Palm Desert/El Paseo Drive, delicious restaurants, and great nightlife! Just book it, you'll thank me later.

My wife and I were looking for a private quite house in the Palm Springs area and this place was prefect. The drive up the hill is a little tight as its a one lane road but, not bad once you get use to it. The house was clean and well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. The view is priceless 24 hours a day! It's just a quick drive down the hill to anything you need for shopping and restaurants. Only things that needs work are the cable channel guide is outdated and didn't match the current tv provider and the instructions that were email out about how to operate the spa are also outdated. Make sure you use the tablet provided inside the house to operate the pool and spa.

Our second time at this amazing home we love and it was just as perfect as our first one. Even though we were both under the weather and felt lousy, it was a perfect property to recuperate at. We lost a day to a marvelous rainstorm, but it was fun to watch with the amazing view and all while celebrating Christmas. TurnKey was so very helpful updating our reservation when we forgot to add some important info, excellent customer experience!

Great vacation spot! Very private, incredible views. The host was very organized and the house was super clean! Only trouble we had was getting an Uber - we recommend driving to the bottom of the hill to try to get one there. But that is worth it for the privacy! Highly recommend this AirBnB!!!

The house is lovely. We encountered a few minor problems and inconveniences. First the door code was incorrect and we could not get into the property easily. Fortunately this was not too late at night however this was a problem. The hot tub did not heat up. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved the location and decor. Would be nice if there were indoor speakers that worked. Would likely rent again.

My husband, son and I left rainy Seattle for some time in the sun. This house was a perfect getaway for us to relax, work and do remote learning. We appreciate the beauty and functionality of this house. Small things like having enough private spaces and well placed outlets made working/schooling remotely easy. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub very much. The view is amazing. Out teenager appreciated the privacy of the second bedroom giving him much needed “space” away from his parents. We are eager to book our next stay at this magnificent property!

After a cool little drive up the mountain, it was a treat to arrive to the outdoor living space and the views! The hiking from our door step was really special. The interior of the house was as advertised with minimal surprises. Turnkey was very responsive with our questions and to replace some essentials. It was so nice having the city and mountain views, in a peaceful yet active location, with wildlife all around us, all the while being close to city amenities. The only item of note, and perhaps Turnkey can fix, is the hot tub gets very hot (just needs a sensor check). We used it so much while enjoying the view! I agree with another reviewer that this one should remain a secret :)
