Lovely Beachfront Home with Stunning Ocean Views & Private Yard

Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing! Being right on the beach was well worth it. We took walks a few times a day and spotted whales, dolphins and sea otters from the chairs on the porch. It was also walkable to the restaurants and stores in town!

We had such a wonderful time. It was the perfect place for us to celebrate a special birthday with family. The house was clean and inviting upon our arrival. Loved the deck and lawn area facing the ocean, and it was great having the fire pit for evening fires. We appreciated that there was also a Weber gas grill. The constant sound of the ocean This is one of the best properties I have ever rented and we plan to return! Thank you!

We loved staying here! It felt cosy, had the best views of the ocean, and was literally a staircase away from the beach! The kitchen supplies well stocked for cooking. We could walk for miles down the beach. We were able to walk to restaurants and were a short drive to many other interesting places to see. The host was super responsive. We’d be back!!

This is a lovely, quaint property with a beautiful backyard view of the ocean. The first thing you see from the living room is the ocean and once you open the door, you hear it. It’s amazing. It is an older house (1930’s) with a lot of charm and has been kept up nicely. The kitchen and 2 bathrooms are upgraded and the kitchen has everything you will need for meals at home. This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the ocean in your backyard. We loved our stay there.

Fantastic beach vacation. Walking on the beach, checking out the ocean life. Cold ocean and cool weather were nonetheless comfortable. The cottage is cozy. We did not cook due to multiple family dinners though the kitchen seemed well appointed. Beds were comfortable.

We are a family of 5, all adults. We picked this house for our spring break trip because of the view over the ocean and the direct access to the beach. We were not disappointed. The location was perfect, 1mi from downtown, 1/2 mi from a market. We barely used our car over the duration of our stay. The house was clean and in good conditions, considering its age. The beds are comfortable. The bunks are on the smaller side, but our adult daughters (5’8”) had no complaints.The kitchen also has all the gear you need to cook, even a BBQ and its utensils. Bring your oil and spices though as what is available was leftover from previous guests. We enjoyed the firepit outside, roasting marshmallows while looking at the stars and listening to the rumbling of the waves. And we made good use of the boogie boards in the shed by the driveway. They were in various conditions but we appreciated their availability and enjoyed catching waves with them. Communication with Vacasa was great. We had issues with the internet. Within a couple of hours, a service staff showed up, upgraded the defective router and fixed the issue. Only downside which has been mentioned in other posts is the entrance through the bedroom. If I were the owner, I’d move the main lock to the kitchen door. We took the habit to come in through the patio doors in the back of the house, to prevent migration of sand and dirt. Long story short, we’d come back in a heartbeat.

The mornings were just so beautiful and relaxing, but the sunsets, my goodness, they were absolutely amazing. We enjoyed being at the fire pit and making S’mores a lot. The ocean views while inside and outside were incredible. And the easy access to the beach below was absolutely wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay.

The views and the vibe were fantastic. It was a wonderful place for a family beach vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for making meals, including a gas grill for cooking outside. All the rooms were cozy and nice. Can't beat the view of the beach and Morro Rock.

We had a great time cooking Thanksgiving dinner in the large kitchen in this beach house. The windows are large and face the water. We enjoyed the ocean and beach from both inside and outside of the house. The direct access to the beach from the backyard is a real plus as is the firepit. The beds were comfortable and the property management service was excellent. We recommend this property!

A family of seven and three generations had a picture perfect week in Cayucos! Home exactly as pictured and described. So clean and comfortable. We marveled how 7 of us in the living area looking at the ocean felt so cozy yet spacious. Easiest experience we’ve had with an AirBnB and the beach access, sounds and views are priceless. Kitchen full of amenities and bathrooms fully stocked. Beds were ultra comfy and temperature was perfect day and night. Enjoyed the open windows and fire pit and deck every single day. Town is a short walk down the beach. Such a friendly town and so much to do if you choose. We chose the beach. Can’t wait to return.

The home is a nostalgic beach cottage with nice touches that make it five star. The local property management was great and dealt with our issues swiftly and professionally. The windows facing the ocean were very clean which is not always the case on the coast. Wi-Fi worked well even outside. The location is spectacular. The home is classic beach not contemporary glam. We chose this property for the location and were comfortable in all regards. Fire pit and green grass were welcome touches. We would love to return.

Everything was nice - clean, etc. Except we had an ant infestation on the second morning. There was no ant spray and the ant poison containers that were in a couple locations in the kitchen were empty. There should be ant spray available. Also, we arrived after dark and there were no lights on, and there is not address number on the outside of the house. We used the photo of the house to locate it. Should have a house number easily viewable.

We stayed here for the first time 5 years ago and I knew I wanted to come back. The house and location are perfect. We booked again for next October for 2 weeks and bringing our grandkids. The only issue we had was not enough toilet paper and there were no trash bags. One of the umbrellas on the deck broke off the base so we laid it down on the deck. It was rusted out. Looking forward to next year.

The pictures of the outside don't do this property justice, it is only about 10 steps down to the beach and your can hear the waves crashing onto shore all day and night. Also, the kitchen was easily the best stocked kitchen for any Airbnb I have ever seen. We are very good cooks and had planned to eat at home a fair amount since we had our 15 month old granddaughter with us. There was every conceivable pan, glass and utensil we could have wanted, muffin pans, baking pans, butcher block full of knives and large utensils for the grill.

Der Aufenthalt war großartig. Es begann mit der Kommunikation, die stets prompt und zuvorkommend war. Der Chekin war denkbar einfach und problemlos. Die Unterkunft selber ist liebevoll eingerichtet, wie ein bewohntes Zuhause und nicht wie eine typische Ferienwohnung. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wem in der Küche etwas fehlt, dem ist nicht mehr zu helfen. Wir haben dort problemlos vollwertige Mahlzeiten kochen können, bzw. den bereitstehen Gasgrill genutzt. Mahlzeiten können dann mit Blick auf den Ozean eingenommen werden, was schon ein besonderes Erlebnis ist. Wir konnten während unseres Aufenthaltes Delfine, Robben, Otter, Wale und beobachten. Alles direkt von der Terrasse aus. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig. Es gibt ein paar Restaurants, Cafés und Geschäfte so dass man nicht weit fahren muß. Rundherum ein toller Aufenthalt der uns sicherlich in bester Erinnerung bleibtund 5 Sterne verdient hat.

Cute cottage, cozy and very nice on the inside. Million dollar view. Nights are quiet, aside from the animals that make their way across the roof once in a while. Firepit was nice, we bought wood in town. Note that you can’t walk to town on the beach around high tide, but the walk is lovely around low tide. The walk on the road to town is just fine, low traffic. Overall fabulous stay, would unreservedly recommend.

We have visited this house for years to spend Christmas with family and we love it. While it is an older home, it has been meticulously maintained, right on oceanfront. My only complaint is the new unreasonable check-out time of 10 o’clock. I was expected to strip the beds, get laundry started, get dishes done-that was really a challenge as 6 people vacated the house.

This little beach cottage was quite literally a breath of fresh air for our family! Exactly as pictured and advertised, but with lots if thoughtful extras like hooks everywhere to dry times and bathing suits, flexible additional seating indoors and out, every small appliance I could need, and a treasure trove of sand toys, boogie boards, and (our favorite) shovels! The cottage has a history you can feel, and is perched on the cliff above a lovely section of cayucos beach. It was walkable to the pier and downtown by beach or street. The generous fire pit and lovely bench overlooking the sea were family favorites early in the morning and late into the evening. Our stay was perfection, and the local manager was highly supportive and responsive with our single request (an additional propane tank for the bbq). Perfectly clean on arrival with an abundance of towels, detergent, and dishwasher tablets. We filled our souls with joy, and our bathing suit pockets with sand. Thank you!!

This place is incredible. Close to town. Walking distance for sure. The kitchen had everything you need. We stayed two weeks. The house is small but perfect for our group. The yard is amazing. The fire pit is beautiful. I suggest bring firewood. I have family up there and they brought wood over. Sat there every night. Our grandkids loved the trip. Most important for us. The beds were new and very comfortable. Will be back for sure. ????

I’ve been staying at this beach house since the mid 70’s as a young child. So much of life changes, and yet this house always feels like home. The house was spotlessly clean, with some noticeable improvements. The house itself is on the older side, but that adds to its charm. This has one of the best views on the Cayucos shoreline. My heart is happy!

Our family has rented this "cozy" home for more than 15 years each summer. We return every year. The beach, the view, the fire pit on the bluff, the back lawn, ample parking, and proximity to the great little town, all make it a favorite place to stay. This year's internet upgrade was great as we had some online work that had to be done.

Our family has been renting his home for many many years and we love it every time. It's a great location and it's size is deceptive - we almost always fill it to capacity with 8. The back lawn overlooking the beachfront and the fire pit for nightly s'mores and star-gazing are huge pluses. The surf is family-friendly and we spotted otters, seals, dolphins and whales this year. The great little town of Cayucos and the neighboring cities of Harmony, Cambria and Morro Bay can't be beat for a low-key summertime vacation. Have already booked for 2021!

We had a lovely time in Cayucos amongst the raindrops. It is located right on the beach with a stairway down the had plenty of law chairs and a fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfy.

When we checked in, it was rainy for the whole week. It was four friends who brought all the food they needed. We stayed inside, enjoyed the view, did puzzles, played games and walked on the beach between the raindrops. The beds are comfy cozy and the kitchen is completely stocked. Had a lovely time.

This is a gorgeous house, plenty of yard space for children, the beach is very close very beautiful. Very spacious for a whole family to relax and spend time together. The amenities are wonderful it included everything you’ll need, to accommodate you as you prepare meals for the family. We enjoyed every minute of it and the view is spectacular. I would love to rent this house again for my family and I !!!

We've stayed at this house 3 times. The view of the ocean is spectacular and the private beach access is wonderful. The house and furnishings are old but clean and fairly well maintained. The house would benefit from grab bars in the tub and shower; oiling the sliding door that sticks; fixing the rotator mechanism on the indoor rattan chairs. A box of kleenex would be nice. Bottom line: we've reserved for next year. This is one of the very best houses for rent in Cayucos. It's a good value.

This place was excellent. You could not wish for a more beautiful view and ideal location in the city of Cayucus. The home itself was spacious and has a large common area facing the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped and also facing the ocean. I would definitely book this home again for future family vacations.

We have stayed here several times in the last few years,as well as other places on Cayucos coast. It is well equipped near everything to walk to and a feeling that says “Come in and stay awhile “. Being family owned it generates a happy feel. Had the whole family in the area for this visit. Magic for this 85 year old. Of course back next year.

Myself and 3 of my siblings stayed at this property this past weekend and it was delightful!! It is the cleanest unit we have ever rented and you can't beat the location. It is small but we had no problems sharing the space. Do note though that the bunk beds in the third bedroom are extremely small and very difficult for an adult to sleep in. We just used the bottom 2 bunks!! Also, kitchen is very well appointed but does need a new coffee maker as it takes over an hour to make a pot!! We got around it by turning on early in the morning so we could all have our cup of java in the morning. Yard is excellent, we had many games and well, the view is exceptional. No complaints with our stay. Can't wait to return!!

This property is really special, in it's charm and it's place in history on the Cayucos coast. It's a classic, loved beach cottage. In that, it has some smaller rooms, cozy spaces and reflects its near centurion nature. But it's clearly a well loved place with key updates like the kitchen and clean bathrooms. If you are looking for a big, modern 3 bedroom home, this is not it. But if you want an idyllic, perfectly located bungalow to get away for a while; if you love the sound of the surf and proximity to town so you never need to get in your car once you arrive, this is the spot. I stayed here for our spring break. Adults in the two main bedrooms and kids in the bunkroom. It was perfect. I've stayed in several places in Cayucos over the years and this was by far my favorite yet!

I’ve been waiting to go to the beach with my grandson since he was inutero and it was worth the wait and everything I imagined. This house is a great setting and I’ve never rented a home with a better stocked kitchen. We all appreciated the history of the house. Beach is beautiful and quiet. Otters played in the kelp in front of the house every day. I didn’t even get into town. It was very hard for us to leave.
