Beachfront dream home with balcony, patio & direct beach access

We loved it. Even without having a/c open all the windows and doors and the breeze was amazing. Beach is a lot closer to the back patio than the pictures. We didn’t leave the house at all during our stay that’s how much we loved it.

We loved our stay here! The home was clean and we loved walking right out to the beach. Going into town was a drive but short. We saw dolphins and sea lions every morning??

Easy check in process. Great views. Very clean. Definitely hot at night and during the sunny days. Would definitely put more fans out for people to use down stairs. Had some issues with the over and the propane being empty but was able to borrow a tank from one of the neighbors for the first night to be able to cook our steaks we had ready to go. So thankfully the neighbors were very nice and helpful. Will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family

I’d have to say this was a beautiful home to stay in. Being able to relax and enjoy the ocean sound was amazing. The area is very private allowing you to freely and worry free take the time to enjoy yourself.

I really enjoyed my stay at this house. The view is amazing. I was able to get into the house easily with the instructions given. The guest services were quick to respond and resolve any issues. The toaster oven didn’t work and they responded quickly and brought a new one right away! They were awesome!!

Nothing beats a beach house. The home is well maintained and clean. Perfect for our 2-couple group. Bedrooms and bathrooms are generously sized. Kitchen is well appointed. Sitting/TV room on 2nd floor is very comfortable and a great spot to wind down in the evenings.Quiet and friendly little neighborhood. Dolphins and seals swim by every morning. Easy drive in to Ventura, Summerland and Santa Barbara

This is a lovely beach home with unbeatable views. It has a well-stocked kitchen. It would have been nice to be able to use the fireplace. There were a few little maintenance issues that need to be attended to, but they didn’t hinder our enjoyment of the house.

Such a beautiful home and location! The first morning I was able to jog 2 miles on the beach and was greeted by dolphins! Went to sleep to the sound of the ocean, beautiful sunsets and even seeing the moon light up the waves at night. An amazing experience, my 4 year old keeps saying how much she misses it already!

Spacious beach house with great sunset views. House is sizeable with a large ocean facing living room/kitchen and huge bedrooms upstairs. Back porch is literally over the ocean and perfect for lounging and sunset views. At low tide the beach is great for walks and shell finding.

Beautiful home, great location, clean , perfect kitchen very well maintained, unbeatable view, great accommodations for a family of four, we had the most wonderful experience ever, a quiet peaceful beautiful place , we had a great breakfast at a The Cliff House Restaurant, my wife loved the French toast , the restaurant was a 3 minutes walking distance from the house , we definitely enjoyed our time and we will love to be back soon ??

The ocean view from the huge picture windows and from the front patio was absolutely beautiful! Saw a group of seals swim by the first morning, and a group of dolphins swim by the second morning! Also enjoyed watching the sunset each evening while relaxing in the lounge chairs on the front porch. Feel like this home is a hidden gem!!

The entire home is in great shape considering it is right on the beach. Just a few steps to the water with a great deck to watch sea lions, porpoise and the many sea birds.

Wonderful place. Just like the pictures. If you are worried about hearing the highway, don’t be—the ocean is right there, and you can’t hear anything but the waves. It’s very peaceful and relaxing. The house is fantastic.

Amazing peace and view right by the beach. The house is quite far away from anything and can only be accessed from 101 South. Very spacious and everything necessary in place. The property could do with a refresh and a bit of TLC inside, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

This was the most amazing location! The views were stunning, the house was beautiful, and the beds were very comfortable. The house is a little dated, but who cares when you are waking up to such an amazing view! We had social hour each night out on the back patio and met the neighbors who were incredibly friendly. I would absolutely come back to the spot again!

This is probably one of the best trips we have ever been on. The house was exactly what was shown on the photos of the listing plus more! There’s three bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has a phenomenal huge walk-in closet and a Jacuzzi type bathtub/shower which was perfect for bathtime since we had our toddler with us. There are two rooms that share a balcony that overlooks the ocean, one is the master bedroom and the second is an extra room with couches and a TV. The second bedroom is facing the front of the house which has a street view. I wish they had made the two bedrooms that share the balcony overlooking the ocean into the two bedrooms but they did not. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need. The washer dryer worked great and they had some detergent available. The post says that they have baby oil and rags to clean the tar off your feet, during our stay that was not available. I would bring some with you because you definitely do get some tar on your feet. The little patio outside is beautiful and perfect to sit and enjoy the ocean view, we saw many dolphins swimming! There are two tables that have two umbrellas, one umbrella is broken and not functionable. The beach is absolutely breathtaking, it’s a couple steps away from the front patio. Some people complained that there was a lot of tar, only one time towards the end I did get tar on my feet but majority of the time I didn’t even notice the tar. Location, location, location ! Directly on the beach. Open the door & the ocean is before you. Large spacious rooms. This was our second year. If you are staying for over a week and plan to do some cooking bring some kitchen knives .

We were very pleased with the property. Exactly what we needed to get away from work/school for a week. Here's a few things we noted: - The place is really lovely, but it does show some wear from use and sea air that isn't visible in the pictures. Treat the pictures like those 'glamor shots' people used to get in the mall, and your expectations will be met :). This is the reason I gave it 4/5 for cleanliness - it's not really that it's not clean; more that it's just a little worn. But hey, it's a *rental* property *on the beach*, so it's reasonable to expect this. - The beach is not at all crowded, and the sand is really nice. For a 'wild' beach (i.e. without anyone paid to keep it clean, like in a resort), it's really clean and pretty. Great for kids to run around on. You can walk pretty far along to the northwest, which is great for those 'long walks on the beach'. There's a very small amount of tar that *sometimes* gets on the bottom of your feet. Comes off really easy with baby oil, and it's not a big deal at all. - There's a reason surfers come to this beach: the waves are pretty substantial. Fun if you're not too delicate and a strong swimmer (there are boogie boards included!). Probably not good for small kids to swim in, but they'll have loads of fun jumping over the small waves right up on the beach. There were several other families in neighboring houses, and they had small kids, who did fine. - It doesn't look like it on the map, but depending on traffic, it can feel...

This home is very light and bright with comfortable furniture and the most amazing surroundings. The location is superb. The kitchen amenities are well stocked, although we brought all of our own oils etc.... There is a great little hotel in short walking distance with fantastic food , just check the times as they are closed at specific times. Carpenteria is close by and is a sweet beach town! Some good restaurants there as well. Very friendly atmosphere with beautiful beach walks , dolphins, seals and not very many people. A perfect chill 5 day get away!

That beautiful ocean sound is something I never get tired of seeing and hearing and the views from this home is amazing, we even got to watch a pod of dolphins playing I would suggest updating the carpet as they are white and very dirty I would also suggest they have the heat on when guest arrive we were very cold when we arrived But I loved having so much space and being able to walk down to the beach right outside our doors and yummy restaurants in walking distance I would definitely recommend this place

This place is truly a gem! There are very few places where the beach is right outside your back door. Not across the road - right there. The house was clean and very spacious. It is on a very secluded beach with very few people around except for the immediate neighbors. If you are looking to escape the hustle-bustle and just chill on the beach, this is the place for you. Only minor downsides are the weak wifi connection and lack of many nearby restaurants, but it's easily worth it to have the pacific ocean all to yourself!

The pictures are highly accurate. Location is beyond beautiful and Ventura li located to both Santa Barbara and Ventura, plenty to do highly recommend a day at the SB wineries. Furniture in home typical beach furniture, not outlandishly comfortable but also not subpar. Would have been nice if the fireplace worked and if there was a TV in the downstairs living room that was mounted or on correct furniture (not just on the fireplace where you have to look down.) Great kitchen to cook in, but know that this property is managed by a management company not the owner which is made clear by the lack of common kitchen goods ie coffee, sugar, olive oil. If you plan to cook bring EVERYTHING yourself. Very clean, nice shampoo, conditioner, soap provided. Management company very responsive. All in all had an amazing 5 days and would come back again:)

This property was nothing short of gorgeous. We arrived early and unfortunately we couldn’t check in early but we had time to get to know the beach and check in process was a breeze. Overall, the entire place was clean aside from a couple issues which were resolved by Turnkey in a timely manner. Your backyard is literally the ocean! We saw dolphins and a seal almost everyday! We kept thinking all this had to be orchestrated somehow as the dolphins are SUPER CLOSE to shore and we caught a few jumping out of the water and showing off. The busiest the beach ever was had 20 people in a mile and a half stretch of sand. Great location if you are isolating. Food options around the area are slim but the Shoals is walking distance and pretty tasty. At night the stars jumped out of the sky, literally, with very little light pollution. I saw a shooting star one night (biggest I’d ever seen) that made me jump back and curse out loud! We’d love to come back and stay here! It really was the perfect quarantine getaway!

After so many trips up the coast wondering what the houses in the little neighborhoods right on the beach are like, we finally had the opportunity to stay in one. The only downside is the beach does have tar, but it can be easily cleaned with baby oil stationed by the front door. Although the house is near the freeway you don't hear it at all. (The umbrellas on the patio should be replaced as they are quite mildewed.)

This is a GREAT PLACE for a BIRTHDAY WEEKEND!!! Very clean, BEAUTIFUL place! Just wished the fireplace would have worked, gets chilly at night. Needs a T.V. in living room. T.V. in Master is old, only plays DVD'S. Over All was still a GREAT PLACE to RELAX, & see the AWESOME VIEW!!! Definitely would STAY HERE AGAIN!!!???????????

Beautiful home on a private beach (beach is shared with only a handful of other homes and only had a few people on it at any time while we were there). Stunning views. Host was very responsive throughout our stay. Located abut 20-30 minutes south of Santa Barbara and 15 minutes north of Ventura. There's also a hotel within walking distance that serves lunch and dinner (no breakfast).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beach house. Well-maintained and very clean this beach house is the perfect spot for a relaxing get-away. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the views are amazing. High quality linens and towels were an added bonus. The beach feels private and is well located south of Carpinteria and Santa Barbara. We enjoyed cooking at the house and the Shoals Restaurant just down the street was very good. The neighbors were friendly too!
