My family and I had a wonderful time. It’s a beautiful property. The beach is steps away, the neighborhood is peaceful, and the local restaurants are amazing. We couldn’t have asked for more, it was perfect. I would highly recommend staying here.

The house is very close to the beach and a short walk to lots of restaurants. There is a wonderful and private patio. Lots of games and books. Kitchen is very fully equipped.

Family friendly accommodations, comfortable, clean, and extremely convenient to everything Ventura has to offer - especially the beach. Great location. Very much appreciated how well equipped kitchen was and the use of beach chairs and towels. Accurate descriptions. We enjoyed front patio very much. We would definitely stay again, especially with the convenience to the beach, state park, pier, Harbor and Pierpont. We loved being able to walk everywhere. Thank you!

What a gorgeous location! Teens could easily take themselves to the beach. The street side patio was a peaceful place to spend hours. The whole place was adorable! Kitchen had everything we needed and was so comfortable to use. Bedrooms had extra blankets and pillows. Bathroom had plenty of towels and extra beach towels. I love the ease of feeling like you are at home!

This house made our stay in Ventura perfect for our family! We loved being able to walk to the beach as well as grocery store, restaurants, and Marina Park. The well equipped kitchen made cooking easy. Our kids loved the toys and games. Thank you!

We had the pleasure to stay at Vacasa’s beautiful property and it was a great beach getaway. Super walkable to the beach, private, and was a great location overall. We did stay in a more warmer week so it was very warm inside the house as it has no AC (clearly stated). 2 out of the 3 electric fans that were provided worked and keeping the windows open helped cooling down the house. Overall, great location and would come again!

This place was a great home! Quick walk to the beach! Made it easy for us to watch the sunset each night and fall asleep with the sounds of the waves at night with our windows open! We loved our stay at Grandma Fern’s Cottage! We enjoyed learning about Fern’s story/how the home came to be what it is today. As a now-removed local, I walked into this property and felt it was the perfect representation of a Ventura home. Everything was intentional and worked well in the space. The hosts really thought of anything you may need from beach accessories and bathing suit hangers, to extra blankets for those breezy nights with the doors open! We traveled with 9 and 11 year old children and they were excited to see some toys and board games. The space also allowed us a full home as a family for a very fair price compared to a hotel room. We would absolutely recommend this stay.

Its a fantastic little beach bungalow right in the Pierpont neighborhood on the beach. Great location and vibe. The beds are a little bumpy and with the fees and cleaning the overall cost is a little high, but I think it was absolutely worth it!

We had a lovely stay. The house is great for kids with several toys and a kids table & chairs. They have beach towels and we left a bag of sand toys so hopefully they’re there for the next family! Very well stocked kitchen. Sunset walks to the beach were a highlight of the trip, maybe 5 minutes from the house to the beach. And you can walk less than 10 minutes on the beach to a variety of restaurants.

Perfect location so very close to the beach! The cool sea air flowing through the windows made our evenings glorious and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.We met a couple of neighbors out doing walks and everyone is so nice and polite. Definitely recommend, amazing experience

Quaint cottage close to the beach, town, bike paths and restaurants. This home provides all you need for cooking and a fun beach Vacay. It was clean, comfortable and had a relaxing atmosphere. The gas fireplace is a nice touch for cool evenings and game nights in the living room .
