Coastal cottage with private patio - 2 minute walk to beach

We had a great stay at the cottage! The location was fantastic—within walking distance of the beach, zoo, and pier. It was perfect for our family of three, and we will definitely be booking here again.

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay!!The beach was about a 3 minute walk, which was very nice, we would take daily walks everyday of our stay. The home was pretty clean and shown exactly as seen on the photos, had most essentials that are needed. The host answered all questions effectively and immediately. Entering the home was pretty straight forward after CAREFULLY reading the instructions of the door (including the code). Overall was a really great experience, we made many great memories and we would highly recommend staying at this location!!

Great location in Santa Barbara! I stayed here with my aunt and we really felt like we had individual spaces. I'm pretty tall and had no problem sleeping on the twin bed in the entryway space. Kitchen was really big and beach access was great! Only a 15-20min walk into downtown, or a 5 min bike ride- which we did every day :)

The house location to the beach and restaurants was perfect. My family of 9 stayed there comfortably and were able to cook, visit and share meals. The house was clean but the bathrooms were a little worn. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Our family loved staying in this charming, cozy, and quaint little cottage! We’re a family of four — two adults and two small children — and it was the perfect size for us. The location couldn’t have been better: an easy walk to the zoo, the beach, and even the neighborhood grocery store. We had a small hiccup unlocking the door at check-in, but the Vacasa team was very responsive and accommodating. The cottage is older, so a few things were a bit rickety, but nothing that affected our stay. The only minor issues were that the outdoor furniture needed a quick wipe-down before use, and the tar kit mentioned in the cottage instructions wasn’t provided or at least we couldn’t find it. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily stay again!

This house was perfect for our family of ten’s three night stay! Spacious yet cozy with a wonderful front porch perfect for early morning coffee conversation. Great location two blocks from the beach. No need for air conditioning during our mid-June stay. If you like older houses with lots of character, this is the house for you!

A group of 7 of us went to Santa Barbara for the weekend to run a 1/2 marathon and spend Mother's Day. House was perfect for us...great location close to restaurants, shopping & beach; extremely well equipped; room for us all; and we had the best time! I'd really give them a 4.5 for cleanliness as the floors were dirty and some dirty rags were left in the bathrooms but otherwise it was great. Beds were comfortable and I'd totally stay there again!

This home is 2 blocks from a beautiful beach in a quiet neighborhood. The upstairs has 4 beautiful bedrooms with bathrooms. One has a large deep tub with a pull out hand held shower that some of us older guests couldn’t use. The downstairs bedroom was lovely but the bathroom can really use some upgrading. It’s very small probably only 3’ by 8’. When we called about any problems. They were very quick to respond. All in all we loved the house. And knowing what I know now would definitely rent it again

We came here for a weekend anniversary trip! It was easy to find, easy to get inside (though there aren't very many lights outside by the front door if you arrive late, so we did have to use our flashlights when we first got there), and was super close to everything! The only no-so-good thing that happened during our stay was Saturday night the fire/carbon monoxide detector went off at 2:00AM suddenly. We looked all around and there was no fire, no smoke, no reason to believe there was any carbon monoxide leak. The problem was that the fire detector is on a very high vaulted ceiling... So we ran all around for something to reach it and ended up having to hoist a chair up & turn it off with the leg of the chair. All was well until the morning when, at 8am, the alarm went off once again. And this time when we hit the button it did not turn off, it instead kept going every 30 seconds. I messaged the host but was only met with automatic responses, which was disappointing.

It is a perfect house for families or groups who love to hang out together, and a super location. Each bedroom with own bathroom is a major plus and the kitchen is huge and manageable for 10 people.

Beautiful little cottage. Everything appeared as described on the listing. Keep in mind, it is an older cottage and had to reset the breakers twice as having the fireplace and space heater on at the same time caused a blackout.

We had 8 of us for 4 nights, and it really worked out well. It is literally a block to the ocean, and about a 1 mile (~20 - 25 minute) walk to the Warf, Funk Zone, and south State St. Just read the description carefully, because it is an old house (or "yacht club") from about 1912, and and it is close to the train tracks, so you'll hear the occasional train horn (that really isn't that loud), so if those are the kind of things that don't work for you, this might not be the spot. However, if you don't mind that, or maybe even find it appealing, then this is a pretty darn good place to stay. It is very clean, has plenty of space, is very comfortable, and the location is great. Vacasa provided all kinds of info and communication, and even quickly addressed a problem we had.

The property is located within walking distance to beach and restaurant. For those of us into walking, the hike along Cabrillo Blvd. was spectacular to include Sterns pier and the harbor. The number of excellent restaurants and wine tasting businesses - and the perfect weather! - made our stay memorable.

We’ve stayed here for 2 days while making a stop on our roadtrip. We loved the place! It was so cute and cosy. The bed was really comfortable to sleep in and the tub was really nice as well. There were plenty of towels, which is not always the case so I appreciated that. Upon checking in we had some issues because we were standing at the wrong (back) door. However it was easy to reach customer service and they helped us out. I would definitely recommend this place!

We loved this home for our group of friends visiting for a wedding. The check in and check out process were very smooth. Such a great location close to the beach and a beautiful 25 minute walk along the water to get down to the Wharf and busier areas of Santa Barbara. Reunion Restaurant right by this home is delicious and has the best Poke bowl I’ve ever had!

Exactly as described. Took us a second to find, didn’t realize it was behind other rentals and off the street. But easy to get in once we did find it. Everything seemed very clean. Water was hot. Didn’t need to use the gas heater.m. The smaller twin bed wasn’t that comfortable but the king bed was nice. Great location. Perfect for our quick weekend stay in Santa Barbara.

This was a great little cottage! Great location within walking distance to the beach, a couple restaurants, and a market. It was clean upon arrival, with nice little shampoos and soaps provided. Ample closet space/drawer space, especially for it being a smaller unit. The jacuzzi tub was very nice too! We were able to park right next to the unit which made loading/unloading easy and we enjoyed the small outdoor space with a little table for breakfast, and an outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach. Great stay!

This place just worked out great for our family to be all together in celebration of my son's wedding. Having each bedroom with their own bathroom was a huge benefit! And being so close to the beach was also a huge benefit. This older home has great character. It does come with expected issues of old places so need to be a bit understanding and go with it. The management team was very helpful and came through when called upon so that was appreciated. The neighborhood is quiet and parking on the street was available when parking in the home's spaces were not available. All in all I highly recommend this home and would book again if I am ever able to coordinate for my entire family again, since after all who doesn't love Santa Barbara!

The place was so cozy and clean. We loved having access to a kitchen during our stay. The fence around the bungalow is a really great touch too. It really provided a lot of privacy ?? The remote wasn’t working (as we were previously told may happen) so we brought our own electronic device to watch Netflix/Hulu on which worked well for us!

My new home away from home! This cabin was just delightful and delivered the space I needed to work and be productive and recharge at the end of the day. This place was absolutely wonderful. Well stocked kitchen with all the gadgets and gizmos you'll need if cooking while here. FANTASTIC bed -- we wanted to take it home with us. Lovely stone tilework in the shower made us feel like we were bathing under a waterfall. We loved this place. Super clean upon arrival. Lots of towels and storage space. Highly recommend.

Very charming, great location - just steps away from the beach! A little further out from the main touristy section by the wharf, which is also nice. We also loved the bonus mini room in the entryway and having our own patio area. One thing to note: there's no early check-in or late check-out option - just something to plan for. It was my only minor complaint as it would have been nice to linger a little longer in the AM. Would definitely stay again!

Really loved our stay here. It was not only very clean, but well stocked. Every type of pot and pan, wine glasses, paper towels, trash bags, iron, little shampoos and soaps, everything was there. Towels were plentiful and artfully arranged. (There were both bath and beach towels available, too.) Bags of jasmine in the bedside drawers. A great folder with all the local attractions neatly listed. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the bathtub HUGE and luxurious, there’s a gas-powdered fireplace that really makes it cozy on a cool night, there’s a private side yard which is so nice to eat breakfast in. It’s super close to the beach but not right next to downtown, which we loved. It doesn’t have a great view, it’s more of a tucked away situation, but we loved that. Felt very cozy and separate from the world. An incredible grocery store a couple blocks away with a fantastic wine selection. Can’t say enough good things about this place, will definitely come back!

Our stay was great! The cottage is very private. The location is convenient, about a mile walk from State Street, and it’s a beautiful walk along the beach! The interior space has virtually every amenity you could want. The bed is very comfortable!
