This SB rental was perfect for three long time friends to spend quality time together and explore the town. First, it was so easy to check in and out. Clear instructions and easy key system. The house and gardens were beautiful. Welcoming and bright. Each bedroom had a door to the beautiful outside deck and gardens. Also, this home was a short block from Shoreline Park and the ocean. We loved gathering at the kitchen island and the living room. They had a blender, drip coffee (we’re not Keurig fans), water/ice from fridge, all the utensils we needed. Very comfortable and super clean. Great hosts. We would definitely return!

The house was very comfortable and welcoming. Everything was easy to use and/or find. We cooked almost every meal while we were there for our 4 nights. There were a few minor maintenance issues like burned out light bulbs, and an ice maker that didn't work. I figured i would report it when I left, but when the smoke alarm went off in the night due to a dead battery, I ended up calling the next day (there is a service fee for "after hours" calling) to let the management company know. The were immediate to answer and quickly put in a ticket to have the smoke detector replaced. They also noted the other problems and apologized to me for the problems. Note: They only supply one roll of paper towel, and a few rolls of toilet paper. After those are gone, it's on you. I felt like for the price, (and we were there 4 days), they could have left an extra roll of paper towel. Besides that, the house is great, the neighborhood is nice, the neighbors are friendly, the beach is near.

Nice value - Great Location We loved our stay here. I read the other reviews about the place being dated and how it isn’t suited to hanging out. We did not find that to be true. It’s fine. It’s a decent sized 3B/2Ba house with a lovely garden, a BBQ, and located just a block a way from Shoreline Park. It’s a lovely two mile walk to State Street, which we did twice. If you’re looking for super modern, this is not it. If you want a good location with decent furnishings, this place works well. The house has a well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and lots of towels. All in all, it was a very nice stay.

Our SB stay was really peaceful and relaxing, everyone really loved it. The location of the house is so close to the beach and walkable to the harbor. The house and gardens were so comfortable we were able to have plenty of downtime too. We felt at home immediately and my family enjoyed exploring the secret garden. Great house! Stayed with my daughter and her 2 young children. The 3 bedrooms were perfect and the living spaces were large and comfy. The kitchen with island was spacious and very functional. Very nice outdoor space , very peaceful and lots of seating. Wish there were more tv’s in the house. Also they should update the streaming services and a larger tv in the living room. Great location! Around the corner to Shoreline road , great park for the kids.

It was a cozy place close to the beach. The house was much more spacious than we expected; it had enough space for five people. We felt right at home. The shower head seemed old but did its job. House can get chilly overnight but nothing an additional blanket couldn't handle.

This is the second time we've stayed here and it's definitely become our go to spot. Great location! Quiet Neighborhood! Beautiful surroundings, including a lush and spacious backyard. Watch out for the neighbor cat though. He can be vicious! Otherwise, a great space. Highly recommend this house, especially for families.

We loved our stay in the home. It was exactly as described, clean and in a perfect location right across from the beach. The property management team was quick to respond when we had a small issue with one of the showers and had it fixed within a couple of hours! We would definitely stay here again if/when we come back to Santa Barbara.

We used this space to celebrate our dear friend and her upcoming wedding! We had an intimate girls weekend with 5 of us all in the wedding party getting to know one another. The house was in a private little neighborhood right next to an open park overlooking the ocean. It had super close access to the beach along with being a quick drive into down town. The place was very spacious and we all felt very comfortable- one of the biggest highlights was the backyard which just felt straight out of a story book. The host is responsible and honest with their expectations so we stuck to the timeline they asked of us for check in and check out- we could’ve definitely stayed longer! We loved the house. This house is nicely decorated with bright and cheerful colors, well furnished, very clean, quiet and private. So many sofas and chairs everywhere and it’s comfortable to stay in any room. The back yard is gorgeous and private, I don’t think the pictures did a just presentation to the wonderful yard. We enjoyed the yard so much!

On the way to this house, I got a call saying that the washing machine does not work and I asked if there was any laundromat near, they said no. So the beginning of our family trip didn’t start great. No other offers or alternative solutions. As we had a five year old, we had to buy some new clothes and hand washed some of his clothes. The location of this house was the best. It was close to beach park. But not so noisy from the beach. Also close from the harbor and the pier. Also the house had a great garden. We loved our stay in this place. I asked Vacasa about rusty knives, scissors and no BBQ tools(including cleaning tools). They only said, “thank you for letting us know”. What I wanted to hear was, “I will drop them off in a couple of hours”. So after one BBQ dinner, we weren’t able to have the bbq because we had no means to clean them. Anyway, overall our trip in Santa Barbara was great.

This is now our go to rental option for Santa Barbara.... The location is amazing, close to everything needed, including the beach and playground. The backyard is especially incredible (felt like we were in a jungle), so peaceful. The kitchen well stocked. Seating was everywhere we needed it to be. Really enjoyed the experience. The 5 of us stayed here for 2 nights, we loved the cottage, its a shabby chic place, for sure. the musty smell some people have been complaining I could say was somewhat there, but it really depends on your nose sensitivity, my husband didnt smell it at all. i kinda did, but you get used to it, it doesn't bother you after several hours. its an old house, but very quaint and adorable. the backyard is a paradise! Everything works, lots of usefull amenities. the coffee machine needs replacement, though, the drip was very slow. communicationwith vacasa was rather slow, the response timing not what we're used to with a private owner. but otherwise i still give this place a 5, because you can't beat location and price.

We had a lovely stay here! The location is awesome. It’s a short walk to Shoreline Park (which has a great playground if you have young kids), the kitchen was well-stocked so we could do a mix of cooking and going out to eat, and the backyard is peaceful and beautiful. The only issues we encountered were that the wifi can get spotty in different parts of the house and the only source of heat is in the kitchen, so the bedrooms get quite chilly overnight. Overall it was a convenient, clean, and well-stocked home base for a few days and we’d definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect homebase for our fun Santa Barbara weekend visiting local friends! A quick walk to the ocean view park, 20 minute walk to the harbor, $8 Uber to the funk zone. The backyard is a lush mini oasis with hummingbirds a flutter and a peekaboo ocean view. The beds were comfy, linens nice, and loved all the personal touches in the home. The kitchen had everything we needed. Super sweet home in a great location!
