The home was beautiful and exactly what we hoped for. The driveway and walkway up to the front door were cleared of snow but the patios were not which is fine because the family and I loved playing in it and shoveling it. Absolutely would stay there again!

Beautiful property! We loved staying there--although the water heater was broken for the entire duration of our stay, resulting in ice cold water throughout the house (compensated). Host staff was very responsive, despite being unable to have the repairs done before our trip end. Everyone loved the bear motifs/decor :) Beware of ice on the stairs up if it's snowing!

We booked last minute and were happy and lucky to find a pet friendly place. The cabin is in the woods, we had deers visiting one morning… it was magical. The home is rustic, it definitely has a 80’s vibe but we found everything we needed. Be aware of the drive way that is REALLY steep… glad that my husband did all the driving!

Clean and comfortable. Quiet and secluded home. Driveway is a bit steep and can be a challenge if it is covered in snow. Steps to the front entrance of home from parking spot is a bit steep as well. Would of been nice if it was lighted for safety reasons at night. Need a flashlight to light the area. Beautiful area, saw many deer. Nice and comfortable stay.

The area was great. The cabin was nice. Very peaceful, smelled fresh. There were deers running around the cabin every day. It was awesome. The fireplace was nice too, the kids loved it and the sofas! - very comfy. We book for Christmas in advance, this year there was no snow but the outdoors and environment was awesome. Relaxing. The balcony at night in the pitch black with tall trees was nice. Snow would have made it perfect. We plan to stop by running springs again when snow hits.

House was spacious and had all the necessities. Personally, I was not a fan of the Roku TVs and found them difficult to work. Could not figure out how to use DVD player in bedroom. Driveway not for the faint of heart. Kitchen well stocked with plates, cups, pots, pans etc. bring your own entertainment such as games, books, DVDs as cabin does not supply any.

The home was perfect for our needs. The layout was perfect for our family. It was fun to have hills the kids could slide down in the snow right out the front door. The large comfy couch was great for family snuggles at night. The home had everything we needed and was close to snow valley and the main street of Running Springs.

Super pretty and feels so much like home! More than we could ask for with super high ceilings, spacious bedrooms, home-like bathroom & kitchen with washer & dryer, and great views! About our stay: though it’s super pretty, proceed to the home with a bit caution in colder/snowy months as it’s on a hill; when it snows you’ll need snow tires or chains for non-snow tires. When going up ramp to parking, we suggest step on gas a bit instead of hesitate, as you won’t get all the way up if you don’t. Also, the stairs leading up to actual home from parking are slippery in rain/not visual when it snows & during night it is very pitch-dark with no lights outside on stairs nor parking area, so be cautious! When we stayed, all worked inside the home except dishwasher, garbage disposal & the oven is a bit tricky as they’re older models. Lastly, lights inside home are a bit naturally dim. Overall this home was so fun and beautiful! hope you all have a great stay & found this helpful!Thank you Vacasa??

  • Damage waiver covers renter for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property.
  • If the house you are renting has a pool, the pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival.

• 8–29 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of all charges except the booking fee. Booking fee not refunded. 
• 7 Days or Less Before Arrival: No refund.

Long-Term Stays (29 nights or longer):

• 6+ Months Before Arrival: 100% refund.
• 91 Days–6 Months Before Arrival: Refund of all charges except the booking fee.
