Under the Palms – Midcentury Oasis w/ Pool & Spa

This place is beautiful. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Lots of games. Pool and fire pit are lovely. Just wish we had more than 2 floaties. Had trouble with the grill the first night and they came right out next morning to fix it. Kitchen was well stocked. Master bath body Wash was empty but we brought our own anyway. The bathrooms are very very nice. We really spent most of our time at the house, in the pool, hot tub or fire pit. Or playing the games. A screen door on the main sliding door out to the pool would be great.

We loved our stay! The backyard is your own private resort. The pool was perfect and loved lounging in the chairs in the morning overlooking the Mountain View. The kitchen was perfect and well stocked. Everything was very clean. Distance to downtown was about 10 minutes and super easy to get to. Loved the spa bathroom in the primary bedroom.

House was as advertised. My husband and I spent the majority of our stay enjoying the beautiful relaxing backyard under the palms. Although, some of the overgrown trees slightly blocked the mountain view. House was very clean. Great size bedrooms and the large living room windows bring in lots of lights. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Excellent stay! Our experience was simply wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we noticed the care and attention to every detail—the house is extremely clean, organized, and welcoming. Everything was impeccable, from the housekeeping to the small decorative touches that make all the difference. The hostess was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay, always available and communicating quickly and easily, which made us feel very comfortable. We truly felt at home! We will definitely return next time and are already recommending the place to our friends and family. A charming place, perfect for relaxing days and great memories!

Great location with just a 10-minute ride into town. Kitchen had everything you could want and cabinets were clearly labeled with contents. Backyard was spacious and peaceful. Jacuzzi got hot with only the press of a single button. Early check-in was available for a fair upcharge. Bottle of wine was waiting for us at check-in. Definitely recommend.

“Under the Palms” what can I say we stayed twice at this home and it just gets better and better. The home is well stocked all furniture(beds especially) are comfortable. The backyard is just a hidden gem, the shade from the palm trees keeps the pool cooler than most homes. And the landscaping keeps it very private at times I forgot there were houses next to us! Thank you for having us we look to go back again soon!

This is a beautiful place. It's definitely the nicest airbnb we've ever stayed in! Amazing pool area, fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. It was perfect for our family. It was a nice neighborhood and close everything we wanted to go see and do. You can hear the planes, but you get used to it and everything else makes up for it.

What a great house! The backyard had a great setup with lots of space and privacy. The house itself was very clean and had great amenities. The kitchen was very well stocked and the attention to detail was impressive. ACME responded right away to questions that I had and was great at checking in from time to time. We had a great time and would stay at one of their properties again.

Under the Palms is a gorgeous, incredibly clean and comfortable mid century gem. We loved our stay here and will be back. The house was very well stocked, from every possible cooking utensil you’d ever need, spices and even an “office” drawer with every item you can think of - tape, colored pencils, even a stapler. The pool and outdoor space and amenities were perfect with comfy outdoor furniture, floats, corn hole. The only possible con ( and it will not stop us from staying here again) is that the house is near the airport and you will hear planes flying overhead. This did not bother us because we were expecting it due to reading it in other reviews. Do not let this deter you from staying in Under the Palms! It’s truly a wonderful property! Acme House Company was great to work with.

This property is beautiful, fun, comfortable, well-maintained, and professionally managed. We really enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend to everyone to stay here :) The only issue we encountered during our stay is the A/C was fixed for 74 degrees inside the property, and it kept turning on and off by itself. This was not ideal for summer days and nights when it is 110 degrees outside. We reported this to the management, and ACME responded and dispatched a technician to fix it right away. ACME is very responsive and professional during the entire process (but we would recommend lowering the A/C temperature and having the option to keep it always on during the summer months).

It was a very nice home and a lovely place to spend a long weekend. The house was very well equipped and comfortable. Acme was very responsive to minor maintenance request. The house is in the airport flight path so it could be a little bothersome during pool time but not a big concern nor an issue for sleep.

A beautifully updated home with a wonderful Palm Springs vibe and incredibly comfortable furnishings. Spotlessly clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. The operating company was outstanding in the clarity of instructions and responsiveness. We had one or two very minor issues and they had people at the house to resolve them almost immediately. One of the best rental experiences we've ever had. Sad to leave but will be excited to return!

We returned from a lovely week at this property and couldn't be happier. The property is in immaculate condition, is well stocked, and has a lovely backyard and pool. We were very comfortable with our party of 4 adults and a toddler. Furthermore, the property was excellently managed. ACME was very easy to work with and responded very quickly to questions about getting a rental crib and high chair dropped off (this was all delivered and set up before we arrived with zero headache). A very stress free, high quality accommodation. We would highly recommend!

Very nice house, clean and a well stocked kitchen. Wish there had been a dvd player though. We stream but also like movies not available on internet. Only real complaint was the spa. It needs repair or service. It kept shutting itself off and requiring us to go manually turn the heater back on.

Over the holiday we met our adult family members in Palm Springs for a vacation. The house was perfect --we took turns cooking dinners and grilling out plus Palm Springs has many great restaurants to choose from. The pool, hot tub, and fire pit offered a relaxing respite. There is lots to do in Palm Springs and Joshua Tree Park is close enough for several hikes including exploring Pioneer Town. A fun place to visit and a great place to stay in Palm Springs!

We had a really wonderful stay with 2 families (including 3 kids and 1 dog). The home was as pictured - very modern and stylish, clean and well-organized. The pool and yard were clean and well-stocked with lawn games and pool toys/floats. The house was well-stocked with all of the things we needed to feel at home and cook meals for the 4 nights we were there. The kitchen had everything you could need (cookware, coffee makers, bar tools, indoor and outdoor dinnerware, spices, oil, etc). It also had enough supplies (trash bags, laundry pods, dish pods, toilet paper, toiletries) to get us through our stay. They even had a well-organized "junk drawer" with scissors, tapes, pens, etc. These are things you typically do not find at an Airbnb. Communication with Charles from Acme was super easy. I had numerous questions at the last minute, and he was very responsive and accommodating. This is one of the most well-managed properties we have ever stayed at. We would definitely stay here (or at another Acme property) again.

LOVED this house! It was perfect for a week with our family. All the bedrooms are really nice and spacious with plenty of storage, the common area was super nice with everything you could ever want/need in the kitchen. The outdoor spaces are also really nice, with lots of room and little areas for different activities when not using the pool. Some reviews mentioned airplane noise, but that didn't bother us at all. The only downside we experienced was quite a bit of wind the week we were there. After looking into it, this house does sit within a windier zone of Palm Springs. Other than that, it was a perfect spot for our vacation!

Overall Comment This was our 2nd time visiting Palm Springs in 1 year. Once again, we used Acme and this property was outstanding in every way! Everything you will need is provided -- cooking, serving, cleaning, laundry, etc. (With one exception -- pool floats! We bought some but inventory was pretty picked over.) The sheets and pillows were among the best I have ever slept on! The house layout was perfect -- just a few steps to pool and hot tub. Loved the gas fire-pit. Very cozy, comfortable and beautifully designed! The staff was very accommodating and quick to respond. Highly recommend!! The ONLY drawback (and I say only because I loved this place) was the location -- right next to airport. Planes, at times, were loud and continuous. It really didn't bother me but it bothered my husband. The plane traffic was light early in the week and intensified throughout the week. Again, it didn't really bother me but thought I would put that out there. Beautiful, beautiful property!!!

We had an amazing stay at Under the Palms! We’ve stayed at a lot of rental properties before and this one is hands down the cleanest, most organized and well stocked to date. Anything you could think of is in this house. The backyard is beautiful, the pool and all landscaping is very well maintained. From the concierge greeting us to the quick and easy mobile check out, everything was fantastic! We’ll definitely be back!

We rented the “House Under The Palms” over the Father’s Day weekend. It was my wife, 2 daughters, and I. The house was perfect! We loved that the pool was right there. The rooms were great and the house was stocked with everything you could think of! We would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great experience!

Overall Comment Several friends and I get together annually to a different destination. Under the Palms this year has been our best accommodations yet. You've found it! Look no further. Truly an exceptional Palm Springs property. Hats off to the owner/designer. I am an architect and was incredibly impressed with the attention to detail and design. The most well-appointed and organized rental I have ever stayed at. Our family had a amazing time over Memorial Day weekend and we will be back! Bravo!

The house and backyard pool area were impeccable. Designed with every detail thought out and provided from kitchen equipment to pool/outdoor toys. The location is very near the airport and flight path, but it wasn’t a distraction for us. Overall highly recommend this home!

Great place! Beautiful pool, hot tub, big bedrooms (each with TVs) and a stylish mid-century home. It's just a few minutes (by car) to the strip and two grocery stores are very close. The house was very clean and the palm trees are absolutely stunning. Be aware that Palm Springs has very strict sound ordinances and if neighbors hear music you can be fined and asked to leave immediately. Unfortunately that meant no music by the pool.
