Mid-Century Jack LaLanne home with pool, spa & firepit

It’s a great place to unwind and recover after a busy week. My kids had an amazing time, and we even unplugged by putting all our phones away, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We loved spending time in the pool, and being able to bring our dog was a huge bonus. We would definitely book this place again!

The house was beautiful and had great potential for a relaxing stay. We did run into a few unexpected issues. We found a dead mouse in the pool upon arrival. The hot tub thermostat was broken so we couldn’t use it the first night. There was a strong odor when turning on the outdoor hose, and unfortunately, the dishwasher wasn’t working. That said, Doug, the property manager, was fantastic. He was extremely responsive, helpful, and did everything he could to address the problems and make our stay as comfortable as possible. His support really made a difference, and we truly appreciated how easy he made everything. We would definitely consider staying again if Doug is in charge. Thanks to Doug’s excellent care.

Me and my family had a vacation in Palm Springs. We came across this house. It’s really awesome. It’s big and spacious. Also, the pool is big and the patio also. At first, we were concerned because the airport is nearby but the great thing is that we didn’t even notice there were airplanes taking off my whole family really loved it.

My wife, kids (11 &13) spent a lovely 7 nights here. The property manager was very responsive when we arrived and couldn’t find everything. The property was extremely clean and pretty big! They had everything we needed for our week. The backyard is definitely a highlight. The pool is quite large and comfortable, we had it heated. The backyard is very private and huge! There are three fire pits and lots of flowering and citrus trees. The beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. The bathrooms had everything we needed. One tip is that there are two blow dryer and one is way better than the other.Overall we had a great time here as our home base

You cannot beat the quality of this rental. Beautiful art, lovely pool, 5 different areas in the backyard and pool deck to relax, which means you can always find shade or sun. GREAT pool. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, for cooking and dining. Good beds and plenty of linens. There were 5 of us, all adults and the layout was perfect. Sure, it could use a little bit of love, maybe replace some floor moldings and freshen up paint in a couple of areas, but other than that, you couldn’t ask for more. We would come back to this place in a New York minute.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The home is beautiful, and filled with time-period touches that make the place eclectic and unique. The space itself is comfortable --clean, cool, and welcoming. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook meals, and the outdoor space is amazing. We enjoyed swimming in the fantastic pool, and lounging in the outdoor spaces. A short drive to downtown Palm Springs, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet of the beautiful neighborhoods. Highly recommend this place!

The outdoor living area was fantastic. Our dog and toddler loved all of the space. Well stocked kitchen and linen closet. Great location close to downtown Palm Springs. The airport abutting the property was not even noticeable and not disruptive at all.

Loved the view of the mountains and airplanes from the expansive yard. It was hard to decide where to sit sometimes. I also loved the Jack LaLanne memorabilia. The house could use some fresh paint in some rooms but is well appointed and comfortable.

Overall we were very happy for the price. The house was a nice little place. We had one issue with the smoke alarms beeping from dead batteries, unfortunately Vacasa tech didn't call until the next day so we either had to sleep with beeping smoke alarms or we just removed the batteries. The house was generally cleaned and wiped down; I would not say it was pristine but overall it was fine but I am pretty picky (almost OCD). The home was very well equipped - plenty of towels, kitchenware, pool towels, floaties, and they even left a few toiletries for us. We packed a lot so when we come back we will know that next time we don't need most of it as the house comes with much. All of the bedrooms had TVs and fans which was nice. Great area and we had a great time. We would definitely book this property again if the price remained the same.

This house was ideal for three people and a dog. The backyard was HUGE - so many sitting areas - a huge pool and hot tub - so much space for eating and hanging outside. The house was clean with every amenity possible. Covered parking was very nice in the Palm Springs heat. The only issue was the AC wasn’t working great - especially in the master bedroom. However the management company sent someone out to repair and replace the motor and everything was fine after that. Great location near the 10 and the airport. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

This is one very unique property. Our mornings were spent sitting on the deck furniture looking out over the pool, yard, the distant San Jacinto mountains, and listening to the many song birds. An absolute beautiful way to start the day. The pool was wonderful as it has an 8 foot deep end and a length that enabled laps.

Beautiful home! The house exterior is stunning and we loved each of the outdoor sitting areas from the hammock, to the lounge chairs, outdoor sofa area and BBQ dining area. The interior is well done and super comfortable and cute. The kitchen is small but perfect for a holiday. Easy to get around from the location to downtown Palm Springs to Joshua Tree for the day.

We really enjoyed the outdoor space! The pool was the perfect size for our 3 children who did laps and played on floaty toys. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of towels. We didn’t think we would use the hot tub, but when the sun goes down the temp really drops and it was just perfect.

The home was exactly as pictured in the photos. Perfectly set up for guests. The kitchen had everything we needed. All rooms spacious. The bedrooms super comfortable. The best feature - the large pool and expansive backyard, with a hammock, lots of seating areas, a hot tub, and a BBQ. My favorite part: swimming in the pool, and looking at the beautiful mountain backdrop. Heaven. Hope to visit this home again.

We had a great stay at this property. Location in North Palm Springs had a lot more airplane noise than expected. House was clean and in good shape. Had an issue with a few pieces of furniture that needs attention but Turnkey was able to address it quickly. The only feedback would be that the house needs a little more upkeep for the amount paid. Stuff you wouldn't see in the pictures. (i.e. some trim on the house needed to be repaired, the bathroom mirrors were a little foggy, touch-up painting, etc.) That said, we would gladly rent this property again! Worked great for our family with younger kids and pets. Great pool and views.

The stay was awesome. Clean house and pool. Great amenities. communication was excellent. Would stay again and highly recommended. Negatives: the inside is cleaned by housekeepers who have done an incredible job. However, who ever cleans the outside needs to do a better job. There was litter around the hot tub and a spent marijuana cigarette next to the wood burning firepit. With small children this could have been an issue.

Overall we all had an amazing time, beautiful property and location. This place was exactly what I was looking for, an oasis in the desert. House was beautifully decorated and the grounds were manicured to perfection to reflect the desert landscape. If I have to gripe about something it would be the cleanliness of the backyard, looks like the previous guest had a pet with them and left evidence of it. But I would absolutely recommend this property to friends and family.

We loved our time here! The house is cute, well-supplied, very comfortable. It’s an older home, mid-century charmer. You really only feel it’s age in the bathrooms, otherwise it’s very well kept. The real deal is the yard — it is spectacular. Super private and quiet, beautiful pool, lots of space to relax (both in the shade and in the sun), well landscaped, surrounded by palm trees, fire pits, jacuzzi... we loved it! Rental process was a little challenging with property management, but once we got through initial rental confirmation, everything was great.

The stay was great, overall. The home was clean and up to date, large space, great kitchen. The only cons were not being able to play music outside while in the pool, it was odd being outside enjoying ourselves in the sun, but without music to set the mood. Also, for the high cleaning fee, we did most of the cleaning ourselves. I did not see the point of a $300 cleaning fee if I have to load the washer, do the laundry, clean out the fridge, and take out the trash myself. We’re clean people to begin with, but for $300, I would think those tasks is what the guest pays for. Overall it was a great stay, pleasant neighborhood, nice set up, great outdoor amenities to enjoy with loved ones.

Reviewer Comments: We all loved this place, I strongly suggest the rental of this property, we drove from Mexico and it was very nice to find the house cool and clean. Plenty of towels even for the swimming pool that by the way is awesome!!! The showers work fine and bathrooms are clean, they provide soap, shampoo and conditioner but I didn't use them. The barbecue área was very nice but the outside temp was 102°F so only my husband was outside!!! 🤣🤣 I would like to come back in another season to enjoy the jacuzzi that obviously nobody used, everybody prefered the pool. The only inconvenient was that the bamboos next to the pool dropped a lot of leaves in and outside the pool, but there is a net that we gladly used, I did not sweep the outside though. If you stay more than three days you will have to sweep.I loved the backyard, (everything was comfortable even with the hot temp) and also I liked the decoration. Kitchen has everything, there is no need to bring pots or bowls. Only three tablets for the dishwasher, we used all.I suposse if you stay more days, they will leave more. I had a great weekend and everybody liked the house a lot, thank you!!!!

Amazing. Amazing. Amazing! Only small thing was that the furniture was obviously thrown in from random vacation rentals, and was neither appealing nor comfortable (if that matters to you). This home has some great history and actually looked like the photos and video. It was a great location with the exception of being so close to the airport but we were very happy to just be in the pool and hot tub under the stars, surrounded by palm trees! Would go again for sure - might be a little tight for 3 couples but perfect for 3 friends....

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been to Palm Springs several times and this trip was one of the better experiences in Palm Springs. The house my wife and I rented was just perfect for us and one guest that came along. The house is well laid out and spacious. There is plenty of space for everyone to escape starting with the patio on the side of this property to the spacious lawn area where there are seats and a fire grill. The swimming pool is an excellent size and a great covered area to escape from the sun. The kitchen is well equipped with modern equipment, great stove and plenty of space to cook. One of the benefits of the location of the house that it is located in the corridor where you get a nice breeze and it is cooler because of that breeze from the mountains.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful house. It has wonderful outdoor spaces that are so relaxing. We loved the modern design, and it was fun to walk around the neighbourhood and see the surrounding houses as well. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay at the Jack LaLanne House. We had come to Palm Spring to celebrate a birthday and attend the Palm Springs Modernism Show. Since we love modern homes the Jack LaLanne house was fun to stay in. The only thing missing was the sun shine. However we enjoyed the hot tub.

We met our adult kids in Palm Springs for an action packed Christmas! The home was sparkling when we arrived! Everything that we needed for a holiday weekend was there. The proximity to fun dining in Palm Springs was excellent and we enjoyed a couple of days exploring the near by Joshua Tree National Park and the native hikes on the edge of town. The weather was cool so we did not use the pool but we really appreciated the large, clean hot tub. We will be staying at this beautiful home many times in the years to come!

We had a fantastic stay at the Jack LaLanne House. We have stayed a number of houses in Palm Springs and this one is our favorite. The backyard is huge - it has a large, deep pool with a shaded cabana area, a large grassy area and a hammock and a fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked and there is iPhone friendly stereo system in the living room. The house is located near the airport but the sound of planes was not very frequent or bothersome and you are a quick Uber ride from downtown P.S.

Fabulous home! I’ve stayed here three times including having my bachelorette party at Tres Palmas. It is the perfect place to host events and has everything you would need for a great stay. We loved the pool and there are plenty of places to lounge in and out of the sun. We especially love the lush tropical feel of the grounds. The home has everything you could need or want including a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, grill, and hot tub. We also sampled some of the grapefruit from the tree on the property and it was the best grapefruit I’ve ever eaten!
