Iconic, Wexler-designed, mid-century home w/ 50-foot pool & attached spa

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Great location near our family who live in down. Safe community. Near downtown Palm Springs. Huge pool and really nice aesthetic. The host was also very responsive which I appreciate. I would stay here again.

Our stay was exactly what we expected and we had a great experience overall. The home was very clean and had everything we needed for our group of five, which made the stay really comfortable. My family of six had a great stay! We’ve visited Palm Springs many times and always rent different houses, and this one was one of our favorites. The huge pool was the star of the show, which is key when it’s 9million degrees out. The home was very clean and the kitchen well stocked with all that we needed. The house does sit alongside a busy road, but street noise wasn’t an issue. The location is great as far as being just a few minutes from grocery stores and such. Our one gripe would be that we didn’t have access to park our car in the garage, which in 118 degree weather is a must. Overall this is a great place with a fabulous pool.

The home was beautiful. Open floorplan so easy to spend Time with family. Master bedroom was comfortable to relax and read a book. We didn’t ask about the back door from master bedroom to pool to be unlocked, I should have but if you stay and want to use, I’m sure they will have a key. Plenty of towels! It’s a culdesac property so it felt private. We had gotten locked out of home because I forgot to give give the codes to my husband. They responded by n first call and helped out. Make sure you add ur guests name because this really helped: Great place to stay. Pool is huge which we loved! Great place to relax. Only thing if you have pets and want them outside, bring them shoes when it’s hot and maybe an outside rug. We did and they loved it

Beautiful home with beautiful view of the mountains. Perfect for what I needed. My daughter loved the large pool. We have stayed many times at Palm Springs and the pools were small, but this one was great for my kids to have fun. Very close to restaurants and grocery stores. The only suggestion I would give is to have more umbrellas since there is only one and for those hot day you need more than that. Overall great experience.

Tucked away in the El Rancho Vista Estates, this house provides privacy and a great pool, away from the hustle and bustle. Only minutes from the Air Museum and downtown. Our family loved our stay! Beautiful landscaping and yard. Pool was perfect, altho I think the pool heating is priced way too high and our hot tub went cold for the last two days of our stay. House was modest but very nice. Kitchen worked as it should (tho I think staples - sugar, salt/pepper and olive oil should be standard). Hanging out by the pool is what we came for — and it was a 10 out of 10 for that.

10/10 property and neighborhood. The backyard pool area with views of the mountains is stunning. Started every morning out there with a cup of coffee, checking email and listening to the birds sing. The neighborhood is a MCM dream and absolutely loved the vibe. The house was spotless. This is our 2nd time staying at a Vacasa property in PS and will always book with them. Chec, in/check out super easy. This locale was great for us to get to Joshua Tree, Salton Sea but less than 10 minutes to downtown PS.

The mid century house. Location is good. Little noisy from vehicles on Vista Chino road. Loved the large bedroom and bathroom. Pool is great. We did not pay extra to heat the pool. Water is cold. Summer should be OK for Water temperature. Washer/dryer available. Really enjoyed our time at the house. I feel it has a good vibe!

The house is located in a gorgeous mid century modern neighborhood with unique character. The back yard has a beautiful pool, perfect size outdoor dining area and well appointed desert landscaping. Its convenient to grocery stores (we cooked most meals in and there's nothing the kitchen didn't have) and not too far to get to downtown, I definitely hope to be back in this house again soon!

I chose the property for the Palm Springs vibe and the pool, and it did not disappoint. I think the pool was my favorite at home pool I’ve ever been in, including my own. It was heavenly! The home had a fun retro feel with beautiful updated bathrooms and a great kitchen. Very comfortable. We have already recommended this property to friends and will definitely be back!

Home was absolutely lovely and well-appointed. Backyard is beautiful. Interior is quite lovely and oh-so-cool. Primary bedroom bathroom is gorgeous. There are a few small details, however, that did not meet our expectations for the price. While the home was well stocked with anything you could need in the kitchen, there was not a single box of tissues in the entire house. The Palm Springs wind was insane the three days we stayed in the home so we all three needed tissues for noses and eyes. We instead had to use the toilet tissue which was not of great quality (perhaps this is because the home has a septic system so the toilet paper must be a certain kind - the thin kind that falls apart?). We finally just went and bought our own tissues but providing guests with a couple boxes of tissues would be lovely. Quality of bath towels in bathrooms was less than stellar - worn and small and thin. It is not that hard to find higher quality, larger, fluffy bath towels at a reasonable price. I always prefer to stay in a home versus a hotel when traveling but I also expect the same high quality products in a rental home as in a hotel (such as higher quality towels and toilet paper). So, overall, a great stay - the above comments are obviously minor issues in the grand scheme of things but also should be taken into consideration given the plethora of home-rental choices. Every detail makes a difference.

A compact and functional house, with a lovely backyard and well-equipped kitchen. The artistic touches were nice with fun lamps, furniture, and vases. The pool and lounge area outside are clean and nicely laid out, with several umbrellas provided and lots of pool towels available. There is some noticeable noise outside from the nearby busy road and the PS airport, but it did not bother us. The pool/spa take a long time to heat and we were disappointed that management did not start that process early enough, so we did not have pool/spa heat on the first day although we paid extra for that. The house could really use some attention in a few areas: bedroom doors are all chewed up on the bottom, and the guest bathroom's tub needs to be refinished or replaced. Maybe a new coat of pain needed in places. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This property is fantastic! If your goal is to stay in a traditional mid-century house in a great neighborhood for your visit to Palm Springs, then Palm and Citrus is the house for you! The pictures don’t do it justice - it is even nicer in person! Pros: - back yard is stunning with multiple seating areas and a cactus garden! - pool was clean and much larger than expected - plenty of pool towels too! - living room furniture is very comfortable with Roku in every room! - neighborhood is full of MCM gems! - house is on the dead end of a street that has a cute park on the side. - property is a only short drive to attractions - dove toiletries were a nice touch! Cons: - hot tub area in the pool really needs some work. Many broken tiles and broken drainage cover made it unusable. - mattress in the primary bedroom is hard as a rock and really uncomfortable. The other 2 beds were fine. - road noise can get loud, but it didn’t cause any problems for us. If you’re on the fence, book this place and you’ll be sure to have a great visit to Palm Springs!

Amazing property. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need including coffee and filters! Pool was a big as described, great clean backyard. House was spotless. The only negative I can say is the master bed is quite HARD. Very very firm mattress. Not what i'm used to, but i'm sure for some, might be great. Other than that, everything was great. My kids and our dog, Bear, had an amazing 4 days here!

We loved our stay here! Like any place, there are pros and cons, but for us the backyard and pool area were so unbeatable that any "cons" are overshadowed. I'll list my details below in case some of these items are more cons than pros for others looking to stay here, but overall we loved it and will be back for a future stay. * The house was exactly as pictured: clean, well supplied, everything you need for your stay. Some small details or updates could be made, but nothing that would make us not want to stay here again. (Plenty of bath and pool towels, maybe could have supplied a few more rolls of toilet paper or paper towels.) * The location is a little further out from the main drag than originally thought, but we didn't mind it. It's just past the airport, so you definitely get the noise from the planes taking off; which didn't bother us. There aren't too many planes coming and going. The noisier part of this house is that it backs up to a very busy street... cars (and sirens) all day long. Again, it didn't bother us too much but if you're looking for complete silence it might be too noisy for you. * The management of the house was just okay. Communication leading up to the stay was hard to track down (we were trying to find out info on heating the pool and jacuzzi). We ended up having to call about 10 times before we got our answers. Also, they mentioned that our entry email would contain information on any pool or yard maintenance days/times if they coincide...

Fantastic house, large swimming pool and beautiful garden. The house and the surrounding area facilitate a fantastic holiday. My family was happy with the stay. The downside turned out to be the internet, which was quite weak. One day there was no internet at all, but after reporting it to the host, he sent helpful instructions. We also had a terrible adventure with a gas kitchen where gas was escaping. When I got home, the gas was felt and the alarm went off. The fire brigade had to come to check the house. The host on the second day took care of checking the kitchen. He reacted very quickly to this serious problem. It turned out that the cleaning team covered the gas outlets with aluminum foil. Fortunately, everything ended well. Thanks to this, we could continue to rest peacefully. I and my family will be happy to visit this house once again.

If you want the look and feel of Palm Springs, this house is the way to do it. The architecture of this house is what you think of when imagining Palm Springs. The pool is HUGE! We spent most of our time laying out by the pool with a good book and some drinks. The house has all the amenities needed to enjoy a great vacation.

Our overall stay was amazing!! The kitchen was especially well outfitted for us to cook, bake, and drink for ourselves over our entire ~2 week stay. The pool and hot tub/spa combo was everything we could have asked for, we had it heated the entire time and it was definitely worth it. There was a door that went directly into the master bathroom from the outside, so we didn't have to run wet from the pool -> shower, which was great! There was a ton of space and seating both inside and outside for everyone and the open floor plan of the kitchen/living area felt huge and comfortable. It's at the end of the block which is nice, but next to a big road, where we did hear loud vehicles driving by occasionally. We had one incident where one fire alarm went off in the evening (without cooking) and we kept pushing a button to silence it for a bit, but it continued to go off. After reaching out that evening, we piled it under a bunch of pillows in the laundry room and someone came promptly the next morning, determined it to be faulty and just took it away. I would definitely recommend this property - a great, spacious escape with an amazing pool/spa.

A perfect setting for a much-needed but low-key-during-COVID vacation with podding friends. The listing looked great already, and the place was yet a little better than expected - surprisingly quiet location, nice big pool and spa (well worth the heating fee), inviting and comfortably furnished home. Communication with the hosts was fast, clear, and friendly both before and after we booked; the only point of confusion was resolved to our benefit. House maintenance while we were there was unobtrusive. Would very much enjoy staying there again.

What can I say? The house was perfect in every way. Liz cleaned it spotless before we got there. The pool was crystal clear. The property pristine. We really enjoyed being there. We didn't feel the need to leave and tour the area due to the beautiful yard and pool. We will definitely be back again to Palm Springs.

We have little kids so the pool was fantastic. Heated and the large shelf for playing was brilliant, but then long enough to get some great swimming in too. Place was very conveniently located and we enjoyed being at the end of a cul de sac. The management company was most helfpul.

This house was great for my friends and me to rent. The backyard is so great with such a large pool and a lot of options for shade depending on where the umbrellas are placed. It was a very relaxing and comfortable 10 days! We look forward to renting this house again. We loved the remote for the pool so we could make sure it was the perfect temp all the time.

I loved the ease of it all. Drive straight to the property, open the door and your vacation begins. The home was clean and beautiful. I cant think of anything that was missing. It was perfect. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. I have rented 5 times in the last 5 years and I dont have one complaint.
