Welcome to Stargazer — a stylish, spacious, art-filled vacation rental in the heart of Palm Springs. The sunlit living room benefits from a flatscreen TV and floor-to-ceiling windows that make a feature of the blue skies and palm trees beyond. Along the corridor is where you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen and dining area that comfortably seats six. A games room with a ping pong table and board games completes the sociable indoor setup. The property’s attractive modern finishes and pops of color continue into the three well-proportioned bedrooms. The primary guest room boasts a private en suite, while the additional two guestrooms share a spacious second bathroom. All three rooms benefit from sliding doors leading directly to the private resort-style backyard with a pool, outdoor dining areas, and spectacular mountain views. Stargazer is perfectly positioned to enjoy all that Palm Springs has to offer. Make the most of the year-round warm temperatures with nature hikes in the surrounding mountains, and discover the many shopping, dining and entertainment options on the property’s doorstep.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
The outdoor space is the jewel in the crown of this quintessentially Californian vacation home. Fenced in and surrounded by trees, this space is completely private and for the sole use of guests. Cool off under the hot sun in the pool, or seek out a shady spot and relax on a comfortable lounger.

As the sun sets over the surrounding mountains, fire up the grill for an al fresco dinner in the outdoor dining area. Then, gather around the firepit and enjoy an evening spent under the stars.

** The pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. **

INDOOR LIVING SPACES
Open-plan living meets mid-century styling to create a comfortable indoor space with socializing at its heart.

The chic living room features ample seating for six, plus a flatscreen TV and neighborhood views to the front of the property. Head to the kitchen and you’ll find a well-stocked, open-plan kitchen with classic wood-fronted cabinets and stainless steel appliances. There’s seating for two at the breakfast bar for snacks and light bites, plus space for six at the dining table for long lunches and lavish dinners.

The games room can be accessed from the dining area and backyard, and features a ping pong table plus plenty of board games. Two swing chairs make the perfect spot for curling up with a coffee or a great book.

** The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. *

SLEEPING QUARTERS
The primary suite is finished with yellow accents and has a sumptuous king-size bed, flat-screen TV, and direct access to the pool area. The attached ensuite bathroom features a large walk-in shower, vanity, and toilet, plus plenty of storage.

The second guest bedroom also has a sumptuous king-size bed and sliding doors to the backyard. This space has been thoughtfully finished with mid-century furnishings and stylish accents. The third bedroom features a queen-size bed and continues the vibrant yellow color scheme. This guest room also has direct access to the pool.

The second and third bedrooms share access to the property’s main bathroom. Finished with contemporary green tiling, it features a shower over the tub, plus a toilet and a vanity with storage.

THE LOCATION
The Stargazer property is located conveniently close to Palm Springs International Airport and is the perfect jumping-off point for enjoying all that the city has to offer. Palm Canyon Drive is a short drive away and is where you’ll find dozens of dining options as well as some of the best shops, boutiques, galleries, and cabarets.

Nature lovers will appreciate that Joshua Tree National Park is within driving distance of the property. Many of the most beautiful hiking trails in Palm Springs are also easily accessible, and some offer year-round waterfalls that are ideal for cooling off in the warmer months. There are several great golf courses nearby, too.

The Stargazer House was absolutely wonderful—so clean, with great updates to the house and a pristine pool. We also loved the mid-century modern vibe of the house and the lovely decor. The pool and the backyard were beautiful and perfect for family hang-outs. We also appreciated having the ping-pong table and the swing chairs in the game room—a really nice touch. We also found the location very convenient to get to other parts of the city and close to restaurants and grocery stores. Stargazer is a Gem!

We had a fantastic stay! The neighborhood is absolutely lovely—quiet, well-maintained, and full of beautiful homes. It's an easy 8-minute drive straight down Vista Chino to Palm Canyon Drive, making trips into downtown Palm Springs quick and convenient. Driving up, the house is charming and instantly welcoming. Inside, the living room is spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. The dining area and kitchen are thoughtfully laid out and made great use of the space. It was too hot in July for us to fully enjoy the game room, but it’s a great bonus feature and would be perfect for use in cooler months. The kitchen deserves special mention—it’s stocked with every gadget imaginable. From cake pans to blenders to serving platters, it had everything we needed. I baked a birthday cake for my sister, and we made full use of the blenders during cocktail hour! It’s rare to find a vacation rental so well-equipped for cooking and entertaining. The primary bedroom is generously sized, and I especially appreciated the large California Closets—we unpacked everything and still had room to spare. The bed was very comfortable, though the pillows were softer than we prefer. I usually travel with my own firm pillow but skipped it this time; next time I’ll bring it! That said, there were plenty of pillows available, and I made it work. The primary bathroom was on the smaller side, but it had a large medicine cabinet, which allowed us to fully unpack our toiletries and stay organized—much appreciated...

I booked this to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday, and we ended up being surprised by how much bigger the overall house was compared to the photos. There were four adults and one child in our party, and we never felt crowded. The living room comfortably sits 6, and it was enough for us to play games, hang out, and watch movies. The kitchen is well-stocked with most, if not all, of the cooking pans and utensils you'd need, and the rooms have plenty of closet space. The backyard is bigger than you'd expect, with a great grilling area, fire pit, but the pool is the real showstopper. The neighborhood is quiet and cozy, and only ~10 minutes away from plenty of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. This is a great place to relax by the pool, have a little ping pong tournament, or lounge and watch a movie. Would recommend.

Perfect house for a poolside retreat in Palm Springs. The mature trees create lots of shady nooks to hang out under in between pool time. The pool is amazing! We had so much fun we cancelled some of our plans to just hang out at the house. Yes, it’s right by the airport, but don’t let that steer you away. You can hear the planes but it is not a big deal. Such a great time. We will be back!

The house was in a good location near airport and short uber away from shops and food! Was unfortunate that Palm Springs has some strict rules not allowing music at any hours outside by pool but we managed. House was over all clean and in good standing. Was a bit shocked at the price per day to heat the pool but decided to do so as we planned a full day to grill out and relax at the Airbnb.
