This location was perfect to get to and from the hospital without having to rent a car. All of the neighbors were very kind and it was a safe and quiet location. Also so close to many restaurants and shops. I would absolutely stay again!

Perfect place for a quiet stay over the July 4th weekend. No fireworks and we had the pool and spa to ourselves during the day. Great location...walked to VillageFest on Thursday night (recommended) and countless restaurants.

A wonderful place to stay in Palm Springs, near good restaurants and some of the best stores. An easy walk to the best of the design area. Just enough on the edge of things to be quiet and peaceful. The apartment complex is beautifully maintained and private.

We have stayed at this apartment twice . Each time it has been a fiasco checking in. There are numerous references to Covid protocols that make no sense in 2025. I can see no reason the entry instructions can not be provided 30 minutes early. The apartment and complex (and location) are great.

I spent several days of "ME time" in this great place located near new trendy gallery's, downtown Palm Springs, and fantastic restaurants including Jake's and Five Four Nine. Plus the mountain views at the entrance to Los Palmas were amazing, especially at dusk and dawn. It was quiet and luxurious. This will be my first choice for anyone visiting Palm Springs!

Location is FANTASTIC. When we walked in it was as though it was brand new. Everything was so very clean, including the pool. We made friends with some of the others staying in the complex and parking was flawless. Very easy to understand directions for check in- check out- and the place was very nice and secure. IT was just perfect and the owner and property management were very welcoming and friendly. If you want a wonderful evening of quiet- the property was great for stargazing. As well the photos do not begin to frame just how beautiful this property is with the mountains and palms as the back drop from the pool.

Place was clean and the necessities were provided. Clean linens, towels, soap, shampoo, paper towels, etc. The check-in process was said to be virtual due to Covid-19 but they required it to be in-person so the description/instructions need to be updated to reflect that. I wanted a place that was quiet and where I wouldn't be bothered. That was the experience I had for the most part. There was a pickup truck that slowly drove by the back entrance as I was packing my things in the car in the morning and they kept staring at me until they finally left. I also got a screw in my back tire when I left to go to work, can't say if it was placed there or if it happened elsewhere, so just check around your car if you park at the designated place. I didn't speak to any of the residents or have any issues other than that the entire time. Overall, I'd recommend this place. My biggest concern was running into roaches, and there weren't any that I saw. It was a comfortable stay.

The check-in process is pretty inconvenient. You basically have to go to their office which is 10-15 mins from where we were staying. And there no sort of shuttle to take you to the Airbnb, so you’ll just have to drive or Uber. Aside from that, everything else was good.

That's what we did in Palm Springs last week! We rented a condo in the old las palmas neighborhood as our base. Property was clean, had a comfortable queen bed, full kitchen, and a Hollywood poster theme decor. Parking was a covered carport and the neighborhood was very safe. From there we were just a block away from great restaurants, coffee, and shops. A short drive to hiking in Indian Canyons, and 30 minutes from the BNP Parabis open tennis tournament. Great place to stay and would rent again.

We were only in town a short period of time and found the Sordid Lives condo to be the PERFECT "hotel" room... with a great layout, kitchen and bath. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was fantastic. Parking was covered and close to the back door! You are right in the heart of Palm Springs... so we never used the car... and simply walked everywhere. Amazing shops and restaurants within a block! Highly recommend!

Nothing like staying in an Albert Frey designed condo when enjoying the splendor of Palm Springs! The condo was great - even though my wife and I hadn’t seen Sordid Lives, fortunately Del left a DVD there so it all makes sense now. Great movie! Excellent location, super quiet (at least while we were there) and the views of the mountains from the pool are amazing. Would definitely stay again!

The Sordid Lives condo was wonderful for us. We liked the quiet of the building, the neighbors, and the location. The aesthetic of the apartment was outstanding and it was very relaxing to be there. There was a maintenance issue with a neighboring apartment that affected us and Vacasa could not have been more responsive and fair an addressing it. We were really quite surprised at how excellent their customer relations team was. We would definitely stay at this property again, and in the future I plan on booking with Vacasa at other destinations based on this experience. Very satisfied!

perfect location, very close walking distance to downtown area, several shops nearby, shopping and food (try El Mirasol's, so good and only 7 min walk from unit)! super clean, very quiet, and felt very safe for this solo traveler. Nice neighbors and neighborhood, stayed for about 2 weeks, very comfy stay, home away from home, strong wifi, zero connectivity issues, laundry room and assigned parking were very nice to have, especially for a longer stay. Loved that they weren't stingy with linens, have booked places where ONLY 1 towel is provided per guest for entire stay, with scary warnings about being charged extra $ if more than 1 towel is used per guest - plenty of extra towels and linens, hotel level amenities, coffee machine broke and a new one was delivered the same day. respectful and quiet neighbors in the complex, would definitely book again - i dont think the photos do any justice to how nice the unit actually is. will definitely look to book again if available when in the area again. Thanks for such a pleasant stay!

We absolutely loved this Airbnb right off the Palm Springs downtown strip. The space was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed cooking dinners in the spacious kitchen and using the pool and hot tub. Overall, we had a great experience, would definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay, even in the middle of 2020. Easy check-in, great communication. Place is as described, but better. Assigned parking is easy and accessible. Outdoor spaces are lovely. Plenty of space and storage for a slightly longer stay. The kitchen is nicely equipped, so I had most meals in, but there’s an outstanding variety of restaurants etc. within steps. The Sordid Lives memorabilia and touches are such fun, and they’re really the cherry on top of a beautifully renovated and outfitted condo with excellent management. I’ll be back!

Everything was as described. Pool was mostly empty (important during covid), no real great space to work for more than one person, especially as a studio if more than one person is on a call. Outside table was nice to sit at and WiFi reached out there and overall was adequate for any remote work. Really well equipped kitchen and appreciated the extra towels, etc. but as someone else mentioned, remember to bring your own oil, salt and pepper, parchment paper, etc. GREAT location in Old Los Palmas, was nice to walk/run around all the mid century houses. As others mentioned, checking in physically (during covid) at a location is a bit annoying, but maybe it moved because it was a ~10 min walk away, not several miles. No flexibility on late checkout which was a bummer but it happens!

The unit was very clean and the overall complex was beautiful and tranquil. My fiancée and I had a lovely time. The kitchen had a good assortment of tools and utensils to cook a solid dinner for ourselves. The location was amazing. We would definitely come back here for another private and quiet weekend.

If you’re a fan of Sordid Lives, this condo is a hoot! Even if you’re not a fan/completely unaware of the movie, it’s a fantastic stay (and you’ll have all the resources there to get you up to speed ;)! I’ve stayed at several accommodations in Palm Springs from boutique motels and condos in the Tennis Club and Uptown Districts and houses in the Movie Colony, but this condo was the most well-situated of them all...and for an incredible price! I was able to walk to all of my favorite restaurants and spots in 5-10 minutes. The condo is super spacious for a single traveler (as I was) or would be great for a couple. I loved the “tastefully campy” nods to the Sordid Lives movies throughout. The bed and sheets were comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen were spacious and well stocked. There was plenty of storage throughout. I was working remotely for the majority of my stay, so I appreciated the two outdoor sitting areas and the indoor table/chairs as well as the great WiFi. The dedicated carport parking was great to have in the summer heat. The pool was clean and quiet (the whole space was quiet and felt very private). Check in/out were straightforward. The value, location, and design are all well worth the stay! I enjoyed the condo so much that I canceled my reservation at another place in Palm Springs and reserved this place again for my next trip in a few weeks.

We had a wonderful visit at the Sordid Lives condo. It is clean, modern, and extremely convenient to downtown Palm Springs. We enjoyed the hot tub and the movie memorabilia. The only downside was needing to check in at the management company in Palm Desert, but this wasn't a huge inconvenience. Would definitely recommend and return to this property!

Communication with Vacasa was super easy and efficient, just bear in mind you need to drive to their office to check in prior to arrival (several miles away). Would definitely recommend!!

This was the perfect property for our return to Palm Springs. Stylish, immaculate, ideal location and the perfect size. Having lived in the Rancho Mirage this return visit gave us the opportunity to reconnect with friends in person. Sordid Lives was an ideal setting for the visit. Thanks to the management and to Del Shores for making it available. While we used the condo gently since we dined our every meal, every day, it was a comfortable place to rest.

We had a nice stay at Vacasa California. The host was communicative and accommodating, being flexible when it came to our arrival time. We enjoyed the jacuzzi a couple of nights. I think it’s salt water, as there was no chemical smell. It was so nice to have laundry available. The bed was about a 7 for comfort on a scale from 1-10. The shower was amazing! There was plenty of storage for our clothes. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and dishes, making it easy to cook. Bring your own parchment paper, oil, and spices. :) We would stay here again!

The place was perfection ! The location was perfection ! My only complaint was... I was never told on the website or by the emails i received from company thatI need to drive 30mins away to the office and show my ID to get the lockbox code. After driving 12hrs to the condo I was then told I need to drive 30min / 1hr round trip to go show my ID to get the lockbox code. Which I Totally get... but that info would have been GREATLY appreciated before arriving.
