Girls' weekend with my daughters and our besties! I looove the heat, so Palm Springs in July is perfect for me. The MCM was on point, everything was super clean, there was plenty of space for eight to play and six to sleep (following the rules!). The road is very loud with many firetrucks, but we were close to everything including the Best Bookstore, Pink Palm, thrift stores, groceries and great Mexican food. This house was spectacular and the pool was amazing. Already planning our next trip.

There was a reviewer who mentioned the car noise from the busy street but the noise machines in the bedrooms are great at canceling it out. The pool accessories could use a refresh. Unbelievable Beauty and Peace in a Historic Home

I love ACME. Their service team are responsive and helpful. They are managing glorious mid Century Modern dreamboats with every mod con you'd need. The pool and jacuzzi were heated (it is winter!) and the kitchen was full of plates and glasses and cooking accoutrements. A guide was provided, updated, to tell you where to eat and drink. The bed was ultra comfortable! It was amazing, having two bathrooms! Not used to that at all. We came for the PS Film Festival, and I would def return and book an ACME home. Because these are not just houses. This place felt like home! We had a view of the mountains to die for, and could watch the tram make its way up the mountain at night. If I could ask for anything, it would have been perhaps some standing lights, so that you could sit, for example, on the sofa, and read a book, without having to use the overhead lights. But this is a small request. We loved our experience!

We needed a place to catch our breath and hide out in the desert. This place rocked! It's exactly the right size for a small family for an extended stay like ours, or larger if for a few days. The pool is great. The hottub, too. We couldn't use the fire feature because of the high winds at night (fire safety, y'know?). The inside was a dream, a mid-century modern dream of orange and teal, tastefully done and augmented with interesting and appropriate architectural reading material. This house ticked all the boxes, and we'd come back anytime.

The property was perfect as it checked off all the boxes for us. The interior is very clean, roomy and comfortable. My only suggestion to be more family friendly, would be to add another TV in the primary bedroom or office as there is only one television in the living room. This property is as stunning as pictured and had all of the amenities one could want. The pool and yard were perfect and the location is great being located so close to downtown; dining and shopping. The house was also right near a playground which was ideal for our young child. Only downside is it’s location on a busy street with bedrooms located at the front of the house with decent road noise. We would still stay again regardless.

My wife and I stayed four nights and enjoyed every minute. The house is well decorated, yard was immaculate and super private. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, but if you want to use the hot tub make sure you turn it on well before you want to get in, it seems to take a while to heat up. Great stay!

We spent 5 delightful days in PS for a wedding. We brought our children and their spouses for a family rendezvous. Lots of relaxing time around the pool/hot tub. The white noise machines in each bedroom worked well to block street noise. ALMOST close enough to downtown shopping and restuarants to walk, but a very short drive. Would stay again for sure!!

Great example of period architecture that is well maintained from an exterior and interior design perspective. The neighborhood is off of a busy street, which wasn't an issue for us, but can be noisy. It is also in a windier part of town. Once again, it is part of the town and topography, not a fault of the property. Well-appointed kitchen, fun interior design, clean and well-maintained. Owner provides towels for the pool. Third bathroom off of the pool is nice so don't get tracking through the house. Perfect for our stay and all-in, very nicely done.

Our stay was very enjoyable. It's a beautiful pool and yard. The house was clean and easy to access. In the evenings, there were some cicadas that dropped in the pool, which freaked out my wife, but she's deathly scared of any bugs. I'd stay here again. There is a grocery store 5 min away and downtown Palm Springs is 10 min away.

We wanted to get the family out of the house and do a mini vacation that was not too far away. We had a great time. The pool was perfect. The beds were comfortable, only wish one of the rooms had double beds (my kids did not want to share a bed). The best part of our stay was the well stocked kitchen!! It had everything you need and every cabinet was labeled (the ocd in me loved this). This house was also not to far from the main drag. Note to property manager: the outlet by the outdoor bathroom, lights above the bbq, and the light/fan above the patio table did not work.

Overall Comment We loved staying in this rental. The unit was clean and so well stocked with basic items you would need for a week+ long stay. The pool was perfect and the firepit was a nice perk as well as the outdoor dining area! The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very clean and tidy with plenty of towels, paper products, toiletries and extra sheets. House was great. It was immaculate. There are 3 bathrooms, not 2 as listing states. The third is outside by pool. Outdoor area is lovely. Hammock was fun. Kitchen is well stocked. Area is convenient to town. Management staff is extremely responsive. Large playground across the street, so great for families with children. Small negative is that this area of town is breezier than I had expected. Would be great in summer, but was chilly in March.

Fantastic visit to Palm Springs

Overall Comment We stayed in Papillon House. It was lovely. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. House is described as having 2 baths, but there is another full bath just outside the door in patio area. House was immaculate. Kitchen was well stocked, better than any other house I've ever rented. Lots of spices, foil and plastic wraps. Lots of towels. There is a large playground across the street, which would benefit families with small children. It is in an area of P.S. which is breezy. Debris blew into pool, but pool was cleaned very often. Breeze would be good in summer, but was a little chilly when we were there in March. Management staff was very responsive.

  • Check-In: After 3 PM | Checkout: 10 AM

  • If the house you are renting has a pool, the pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival.

Booking & Cancellation Policies

All reservations require a valid photo ID and a signed rental contract.

Short-Term Stays (28 nights or less):

• 100% Refund: Cancel within 48 hours of booking.
• 60+ Days Before Arrival: 100% refund of all charges.
• 30–59 Days Before Arrival: Refund of all charges except the booking fee.
• 8–29 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of all charges except the booking fee. Booking fee not refunded. 
• 7 Days or Less Before Arrival: No refund.

Long-Term Stays (29 nights or longer):

• 6+ Months Before Arrival: 100% refund.
• 91 Days–6 Months Before Arrival: Refund of all charges except the booking fee.
• 60–91 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of rent and other fees refunded. Booking fee not refunded. 
• 60 Days or Less Before Arrival: No refund of rent or booking fee; other fees refunded.
