Designed by Charles DuBois for the Alexander Construction Company in 1960 and thoughtfully remodeled , this home offers an ideal blend of classic style and modern comfort. The landscaping and pool deck were updated in 2022, including a new firepit. Step inside to find four king bedrooms, bold colors and prints throughout, lofty post-and-beam ceilings, a gas fireplace with a chimney of exposed stone, and a bar where you can mix martinis each evening. Through floor-to-ceiling windows and glass sliding doors is the backyard oasis, which can be accessed from the great room, the dining room, the media room, and the main bedrooms. Enjoy a private swimming pool, as well as spectacular views of the mountains and the lofty palms that surround the house. WHAT'S NEARBY Vista Las Palmas is one of the most in-demand neighborhoods of Palm Springs, thanks to its architectural wonders, its gorgeous position at the foot of the mountains, and its close proximity to downtown. Walk or ride your bike half a mile east to reach Palm Canyon Drive, the main strip of Palm Springs that's lined with fantastic restaurants, boutiques, antique stores, casinos, and other forms of nightlife. Go hiking in Tahquitz Canyon three miles south, take a ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway six miles west, or tee off at one of the countless world-class golf courses that the area is known for. THINGS TO KNOW -Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. -The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.

We absolutely love this house. The backyard is incredible with amazing views of the mountains. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with great morning walks. But at the same time it is very close to downtown Palm Springs. The house itself is spacious, well stocked, and enough room for us and visiting friends. I would definitely rent this house again! Can’t wait to come back.

Communication from Casago was strange. It wasn’t from a typical “company” email, it was from the type of email you question the validity of (especially these days when you have to be extra careful). I didn’t think it was legit at first which was worrisome. The property was fantastic!!! We loved it!

We loved this house and location - perfect girls trip even though we ended up in Palm Springs with historically bad weather. The house is gorgeous and well appointed and we especially enjoyed the backyard between the pool, hot tub and fire pit. It was easy to get around via Ubers and a couple of us even walked to get coffee one morning. We hired a personal chef one night and the kitchen had everything he needed to prepare and serve a 3 course meal. We definitely plan to come back!

Great childrens home

Family Vacation

Gorgeous Stay

The house is clean, well maintained and fully stocked for all your needs. The pool and outdoor area were amazing. We didn’t realize it would cost additional money and time to heat the pool/pool spa. Probably only needs to happen in the cooler months, but renter beware. We really had a great stay. The area is walkable to downtown or a cheap Uber/Lyft.

Perfect PS home

Beautiful home, great layout, comfortable beds, fantastic pool and spa. Great for entertaining - media room, pool patio area, firepit, game table. The home was quintessential Palm Springs and the interior design was bright, mid century modern. I felt like I was on a movie set or a Slim Aarons' photo shoot. The house is even next door to Elvis' house. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely and close to all of the PS attractions and restaurant.

Beautiful home!

This home is beautiful and so well equipped! I love the mid-century modern vibe. There is so much space but in a way that is comfortable and cozy. The pool was perfect and the neighborhood is walkable to Palm Canyon. Probably one of the best homes we have ever stayed in. Will certainly be back!

Labor Day getaway

We stayed as a last minute Labor Day getaway with several friends. The location is great. Old beautiful neighborhood. House was very cool with retro decor. House had everything we needed. Set up is really nice and the back yard is beautifully landscaped. The only nitpick I could have is the master bedroom stayed much hotter than the rest of the house. I would still recommend and like to return to this property.

A true gem

This is a lovely home in a great neighborhood. The mid-century modern furnishings and details are true to the period but still warm and comfortable. Outside, the grounds are lush and private. We enjoyed it all – the pool. spa, fire pit and grill. And, of course, its a very walkable neighborhood.

Palm Springs Perfection

This was the most amazing home in a fabulous location, walking distance to restaurants, shops, and if you stay here, you must explore the neighborhood looking at all the fantastic mid-century homes, architecture, and beautifully landscaped surroundings. The pool was lovely and well-maintained and there was sun and shade (very important for us shade-seekers who still want to hang out and spend time outside!). The home was so fun to be in because it is just gorgeous and designed so beautifully. We came here for a girls trip and would stay here again in a heartbeat! The whole group loved it.

Comfort and quality

Great Palm Springs vacation rental for family of 4 plus in-laws. Rooms for everyone and two en-suites are perfect amount of bedroom space. Separate family room with TV and game cabinet are great for kids. Pool and outdoor space are truly the highlight though. I’ve stayed at other las palmas rentals with pools and this one has size and a spacious pool deck. The well manicured flora is beautiful and really softens the hard scape. Hard to find that combo in las palmas for a decent price. Pool heat was an easy extra request via vacasa management team. It was in the 80’s but everyone enjoyed the pool heat. I would highly recommend this place!

This is our second time staying at this property and I’m already looking forward to our next visit. The home is comfortable, clean, and fun! The pool is beautiful with lots of room for swimming, playing, and floaties. The house has everything you need and items you didn’t know you were missing. I truly love this home and cannot wait to come back.

Amazing house, gorgeous decor, splendid location

With multiple large living spaces this home is ideal for a larger group. The pool/spa area is wonderful including a covered patio and a gas fire pit and grilling area. A well-equipped kitchen (drip coffee plus Nespresso, no Keurig) is ready for meal prep. Some Sonos speakers sprinkled throughout the house, some of which we never figured out how to connect with. Lots of beach towels for the pool, a washer & dryer for longer stays and lots of conformtable furniture indoors and out round out the home. Located in Vista Las Palmas, this home is .8 miles from Palm Canyon Dr, the center of most activity in Palm Springs. We rented bikes from Big Wheel which was a great decision, and we were able to park them in the garage being careful of the owners car. Don't forget to order "pool heat" during most of the year, well worth the extra expense. Communication is via Vacasa, adding an additional layer of management which we did not love. Access details came at the very last minute, it added a little stress, although they gave us everything we needed on time, just kind of felt last minute. Local management was great when needed, they answered the phone, which was helpful. If you don't know how to work a pool/spa you should get instructions or you won't be able to operate the spa, which would be a shame. Overall, it is hard not to give this home an 11 out of 10. We had a splendid time. The house was clean and very well stocked. It was a pleasure to rent here and we would do it again.

Honestly, this house is magical. It's located in the best part of Palm Springs and has a gorgeous backdrop. House is prettier than the photos show online and better layout. Lots of room for 8 people. The Vacasa staff were all super friendly. We had an issue with the hot tub which didn't work and was never resolved. Responses were not the fastest, but again, everyone was super nice once they got back to you. Regardless, I would stay here again.

Absolutely loved the house and its surroundings. Our group is already talking about a return visit in the future. Very stylish yet comfortable living, with many separate spaces to enjoy (game room, bar, poker table, fire pit, etc.). The neighborhood is fascinating to walk around. Only criticism would be that there weren't any directions for operating the hot tub, and the management company couldn't provide any info on that either, so we had to figure it out for ourselves. But once we did, it was well worth it!

This was a fantastic rental, perfect in every detail. The house, setting, and furnishings are beautiful. The house was immaculately clean and better equipped than any home we’ve ever rented previously. The kitchen had every imaginable utensil, Nespresso and drip coffee, beautiful dishes, bar equipment, and a well stocked pantry. We so appreciated the many thoughtful touches, like toiletries in all the bathrooms and lots of towels and bedding, that made us feel like pampered guests. Not one thing we wanted or needed was missing. We would 100% return if we are in Palm Springs again.

The location was perfect. It’s a gorgeous house in pictures but even better in person. Fantastic pool. Well stocked. Could not have been happier. My entire group had the best time imaginable. We’d definitely book this house again. Vacasa was also great with the check in and follow up to ensure our stay was going well.

This is absolutely the perfect Palm Springs retreat! We were two families each with 2 kids (8 total) and there was plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was spotless and well-stocked, the decor was artful but still comfortable, and the pool and backyard were the highlights. We also loved that there was a TV and game room separate from the main living room so that the kids could have their own space. Favorite moments included walking around the neighborhood and checking out the amazing architecture; The Shops at Thirteen Forty Five (these boutiques are walking distance from the home -- we also walked to downtown Palm Springs, which is longer but doable); and chilling out at the pool. Normas for brunch is nice for a special occasion, and Birba for pizza was a great family-friendly spot with an outdoor patio and live music. All in all, it was the perfect getaway!

My group and I had a wonderful time at this home. The listing was very accurately described, and the house was EXTREMELY well stocked in terms of kitchen equipment, towels, etc. The interior of the home has a open floor plan that lends it well to entertaining and gathering, and the outdoor area is truly an MCM private paradise. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

This house was a perfect vacation rental for my group of 6. There was plenty of room for us all and we never even needed to leave the house because it accommodated everything we needed. The pool was a really nice size and the spa was excellent. Very clean and in a really nice neighborhood with a beautiful backdrop. Would absolutely stay here again.

Awesome place / outfitted with everything you could need!

We just got home yesterday afternoon, and already wish we were back. The house was amazing, has been well maintained, and is outfitted with everything that anyone could reasonably want and then some (lots of games, an Xbox, TVs with AppleTVs, tons of kitchen gadgets and spices, clean towels, basic toiletries, etc.) The front and back yards have been meticulously groomed, and the furniture was stylish and comfy. Not to mention: It's located near the main Palm Springs strip, and the gondola up to the top of San Jacinto Peak.

Mid century gem surrounded by a breathtaking landscape

We enjoyed our stay at this super clean mid-century home located in a beautiful peaceful neighborhood, decorated with the awesome interiors of the 1960's era. The pool area was so relaxing with the backdrop of the mountains in the backyard, and lovely for barbecuing outside. This home was perfect, and provided all the amenities you would want in your home away from home. Our home experience was amazing, but Vacasa who manages the property was terrible. They were supposed to contact us regarding check in with a virtual call to access our rental unit between the hours of 10a-3p. We never heard from them, and then we called to see what was going on, and were given the wrong codes for the lock box to access the keys to the unit. We then had to call back again, and they said we would get another call at 4pm. They didn't call us until 4:15p, and finally we were given the correct information to get into our lockbox. The only other hiccup was one of the beds weren't made when we arrived at the property, so we had to wait for the housekeeper to come back and make up the one bed. Would definitely stay at this property again, but hope the property management improves it's customer service for the future!

Terrific house.

Highly recommend. Exceptionally well-appointed house with everything you need right at hand. Very stylish interiors without being stuffy or fussy. Quiet neighborhood near some gorgeous mid-century homes, and about a 20-minute walk or quick drive to the main street with bars and restaurants. The pool and jacuzzi are lovely, with the San Jacinto Mountains rising up behind the hedges and palm trees. The perfect Palm Springs experience.

Great property!

We enjoyed everything about the property, the management is overseen by Vacasa Property Rentals and there seemed to be some hidden fees, like heating the pool. I tried to calling Vacasa early on and I was on hold for 45 minutes. All that aside it was a great property and well stocked!

Perfect Stay

This is my second stay at PS Style and find it to be the perfect combination of what I need. For my friends and family they all feel like they are experiencing a mid-century elegant house. Yet the kids are perfectly accommodated too. I have send three other friends to this home too and they all have loved it. The home is outfitted for full use and not just a minimal checklist of items. Small things like having a well stocked kitchen, or the Sonos sound system take the house to another level. It feels like home, not a rental.
