We were so happy that our whole family was able to go. The house was incredibly comfortable and truly felt like home because it had everything we needed. The Oscar Mayer house was perfect for our girls trip! The house captures the MCM style inside and out and the layout was perfect for each of us to have our own room and bathroom. The neighborhood is all permanent residents and so pristine and quiet. If you plan on having “gatherings” outside around the pool with music, this is not the place for you as there is a strict no outside music ordinance. BUT, if you want to relax and unwind in a comfortable home… this is DEFINITELY the place to be. I rated the communication with property manager as 2 stars… but don’t let that deter you. The home changed management companies a week before our stay and the issue was getting the new company to respond to give us the code for the door. Once here, Jared, the property manager was super responsive to our inquiries. I would think the snafu with the company will smooth out as they get further out from the transition. But, short answer… this house, home, is absolutely wonderful and all 3 of us agreed we’d come back again… AND schedule in more downtime to enjoy the pool/patio and home a bit more.

We had 5 adults staying with plenty of room for all. Kitchen was well stocked with all needed to make some nice meals. Pool was great with plenty of pool towels for us. Location was great! Downtown Palm Springs and shopping was very close. We could recommend staying at this house.

Great house! Much bigger than it looks. The pool and hot tub were awesome. You're about a 10 min drive from everything; easy Ubers. Pretty and quiet cul de sac too. Management very responsive and helpful to help heat the spa when it was being tricky. Great stay!

Great location in a quiet and historical neighborhood! Spacious house and lovely backyard. Great for 2 or more couples staying as a group. If you plan on using the kitchen, bring your own condiments, etc. including coffee beans(!) as the pantry is bare.

The house is lovely. Immaculately clean. We tried to leave it just as clean if not better. The info in the book about the house is a bit out of date, but we figured most of it out. We could not figure out how to turn off the pool heater, as the book is out of date, but suspect you have someone to do that. Thank you for a wonderful stay

The house is large, with bedrooms spread out, so everyone in our group had privacy if needed. However, with a big living room with several comfortable couches and chairs we spent a lot of time socializing there. the several comfortable chairs. The sliding glass doors in the living room led to the pool. Comfortable lounge chairs and a big table in the patio made that area like an extra room. House was spotless. Vacasa texted and called when we arrived to make sure everything was okay. That was a nice touch.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this mid-century house in Palm Springs! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the stylish retro decor, spacious layout, and the stunning pool area. The house is beautifully furnished with a perfect blend of modern amenities and mid-century charm. The living areas are bright and airy, with comfortable seating that made us feel right at home. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, and dining al fresco by the poolside was a highlight of our stay. Speaking of the pool area, it's simply spectacular. Offering plenty of shade and breathtaking views of the mountains, it was ideal for a refreshing dip or soaking up the California sun on the loungers. The location couldn't have been better. Situated in a fabulous neighborhood close to downtown Palm Springs, we were just a short drive away from the vibrant shops and restaurants that the area has to offer. Yet, the neighborhood itself was peaceful and serene, allowing us to enjoy a quiet retreat when desired. Overall, we can't recommend this VRBO house enough for anyone looking to experience the charm and luxury of Palm Springs. This is a totally mid century Palm Springs style house. It's spacious, comfortable and the location is great. On a quiet cul de sac, close to downtown. Nice views from the pool area which has plenty of relaxing space in the sun as well as the shade.

Back again for the 13th season! and of course the Oscar Mayer House feels much like home to us. I will say that the shift in ownership of the once local Vacation Palm Springs to Vacasa seems to be working well. The local team of Britt, Roxy and David are working well with Robin in the long term rental office of Vacasa. Nice! And Roxy and Britt were right on getting the subzero freezer fixed in record time during Thanksgiving week. They even sent a new chest freezer to the house the same day. Again, Nice! David has done a fine job of making sure the house is in tip top condition. Thanks to you all.

I was worried about the furniture being outdated based on past reviews but the place was really clean and all the furniture seemed to be in great condition. The house is spacious and beautiful and the backyard was lovely. Very close to downtown. Would recommend!

Great house and amenities and very central location. We stayed during a very hot week and the pool did not need heating and there was a good amount of shade with the patio cover and direction of the sun. We really enjoyed the pool and the home layout as we had one wing while the kids had the other! Definitely an option for our future stays

Review The management team were very responsive and great to work with. The home is situated in a beautifully landscaped neighborhood. The pool was very clean and comfortable. There was no need to heat the pool in 100-113 weather late July. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. Access to laundry room was a big plus, and appreciated. The home is spacious for adult family of six with plenty of common room space. Good value for prime PS location.

We completely enjoyed our stay at the home and loved that it had 3 bedrooms with three full bathrooms. We had the pool heated for our stay and enjoyed it the entire time we were there. The back yard was very private. Didn’t realize that there is a difference between a spa and hot tub. This home doesn’t have a hot tub. The home was located in a very nice neighborhood. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The home was comfortable and located close to town. I would definitely recommend.

This is our 12th winter at the OM House so we know it rather well! It's a spacious mid century, light and bright house that is both welcoming and comfortable. On a cul de sac in a later day Hollywood star neighborhood it is quiet, with good poolside views of the nearby mountains and a short drive to downtown Palm Springs. We appreciate the architect's understanding of the PS climate. He designed both shady and sunny areas by the pool area and recessed nearly all glass walls and windows under overhanging covers to keep the house comfortably removed from the direct sun. Check out the pictures online and you'll see what I mean. The layout of the house is great too. There's a master and large bath plus guest room and it's own bath on one side and a second king size bedroom and bath on the other. And yes the laundry room is huge with an outside door to a clothes line. How mid century is that? A circular drive and two car garage and that's the Oscar Mayer House. We love it!

This is a great house in a really nice neighborhood. A lot of space in the house - great communal areas and nice private rooms. You can't beat this location in Palm Springs - you are close to everything. We had some issues heating the pool, but it was a very cold weekend and the hosts were very responsive. We had a great time and would stay here again.

I have rented several excellent homes from Vacation Palm Springs where service and customer satisfaction always comes first. By far this mid century modern is greater than just about any home I have rented. All the bedrooms are large and comfortable as are the common areas, all nicely furnished with period pieces that makes this house so special. Having a garage was a nice touch, and deep pool even better. Its an older home yet it is comfortable-- the AC worked great, the pooled heated fine, and the sun and views of the mountains were perfect. Plenty of things to use in the kitchen and all the fixtures worked fine. The owner has done a wonderful job of keeping this home true to its 1959 bones. Never watched any of the TV's as I was always outside relaxing. This is house is highly recommended whether its you and one person or up to six and its near everything. The only thing you have to be aware of is that this is in an exclusive area of Deep Well so respecting the quiet is important, yet I highly recommend this home and any home offered up by Vacation Palm Springs! Justin is terrific, he knows me well enough to help me always find the perfect home. Bunnie is helpful, as is Andy. I have spoken to or met most of the people here and they are all great!

The "Oscar Mayer House" was well-decorated and well-maintained. There is ample room for family and friends to gather in both the living / family room as well as the outside sitting area. The landscaping is nicely maintained. I would definitely rent this property again. Booking the home was a very seamless process, so kudos to the Vacation Palm Springs team. We had no issues with the home during our stay.

This home was amazing! The pictures online looked great, but the house itself was even better in person! Very nicely decorated inside with 50's style couches and unique artwork. It was very spacious and was able to accommodate our large group very comfortably. Overall, it was awesome!!! This house was fully stocked with just about everything you could think of (linens, utensils, cookware, washer/dryer, etc). We probably could have brought this ourselves had we known but the only recommendations I would make would be to have a box of aluminum foil, saran wrap, zip-lock bags, and some extra paper towels. Very minor details but aside from that, no complaints! The garage door opener did not work when we first arrived, so I called the property manager and they said they would send someone out within the hour. The repairman was there within 15 minutes of the call, was very friendly and nice, fixed the problem in 5 minutes, and left. We were very impressed by the speedy response and quick fix!
