This delightful home offers a pool with included spa heat for guests (the fee for pool heat can be seen below),  a new water softener and purifier for the entire house, outdoor freshwater shower, ultra-private grounds, wonderful views of the San Jacinto Mountains, palm trees, and a unique desert landscape. 

This gorgeous retreat will provide you with an immaculate and welcoming interior decorated in the iconic mid-century style that is famous in the area. The great room is filled with striking colors and an artistic flair making it perfect for entertaining boasting a modern fireplace, several sitting areas, and views to the pool. Step outside and you will find a perfect oasis complete with lush greenery, an expansive pool and spa, a grilling area with bar seating, a firepit, and an outdoor dining area! If a more formal meal is on the agenda, a gourmet kitchen finished with quartz counters, abundant high gloss white cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and a conversation bar awaits inside. You and your guests are sure to create multiple memories through the many amenities that this property provides. 

You and your guests will have no trouble experiencing the very best attractions in the city, as this home is located a short three-mile drive from the vibrant shops, restaurants, casinos, and art exhibits of downtown. When you work up an appetite from a full day of fun, don't hesitate to try some local cuisine at Workshop Kitchen, Cheeky’s, Farm, or Rooster and the Pig (takeout only)! If you have a few outdoorsy members in the group, they will be delighted to know that trails abound at Tahquitz Canyon, and Joshua Tree National Park is close enough for a day trip!

Things to Know
Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.

Beautiful mid-century modern home that was perfect for our group. The main room is a lot bigger than the photo depicts- plenty of space for a big group. Everything was super clean. The fireplace and fire pit were not working when we arrived, but they sent someone to fix it right away. Great location in a beautiful neighborhood too!

Great stay at Desert Stardust with a family group! House was well appointed and very clean, plenty of kitchen tools, towels, etc. Pool was great and the patio cover and outside living area are awesome when you need a break in the shade. Only little ding is the super hard mattresses (mentioned by another reviewer too) but everything else is so good, it’s easy to let that slide, and would still book again for sure!

Absolutely fabulous! This house has it all. We wanted a sunny getaway and time with family. This house has four bedrooms and four baths. Two bedrooms on one side and two on the other. Perfect for us to be on one side waking up at the crack of dawn with our 5 yr olds without waking up our family. The kitchen is well stocked and inviting. The backyard is beautifully landscaped and has everything. The pool and jacuzzi were such a hit! We grilled and hung out outside everyday! Also it’s a great location! We would definitely stay again!

We went to Palm Spring with few friends to escape the winter of New England. We had a great time staying at this place. Property was clean and accurate as per description. The backyard with the pool and hot tub is like your own oasis. The entire check process for very smooth and they were very easily accessible for any questions and concerns. We had a wonderful stay in June 2021. So happy to discover this house to be exactly as pictured. It was super clean and the layout is great. Our only suggestion would be to add a few things to the kitchen: a large salad bowl or two, some tongs, and some storage containers for leftovers. Also, the house had no large beach towels for outside, but luckily we brought our own. I will definitely stay here again. All of the beautiful (and fun) decor make this a truly special place. We loved it :)

The house is a stunner as soon as you walk in. Multiple seating areas make for plenty of space for your group. The four bedrooms and four bathrooms make sure no one is stepping on anyone's toes, and with 2 tank-less water heaters multiple showers can take place at the same time without losing heat or water pressure. The 5 smart tvs work with the wifi throughout the house and with cable and access to various streaming services (with your own accounts) you'll never be without something to watch if that's in the cards for you. The backyard with the pool, hottub, multiple seating options and grill truly make for a great experience for all types of groups looking to get away. The kitchen is also fully stocked with plates, cups, pitchers, pots, and pans for you to cook to your heart's content. **slight negatives, but barely** The beds in each bedroom are fairly firm, so just a heads up. Also, check the propane tank that's connected to the fire pit as soon as you get in (if you plan to use it) we did not and tried to use it our last night there and it was empty. Just a slight bummer, definitely nothing to ruin a great week.

This is absolutely one of the best properties I’ve rented for a vacation, and we’ve rented I luxury properties all over the world. This one was for a post-pandemic girls birthday reunion, and it did not disappoint. The location was perfect, and within walking distance to downtown. The property was gorgeous, and so sparkling clean. The pool and the backyard kitchen and eating area is where we spent so much of our time. The fun decor made us feel like bachelorettes in a throwback TV show. The only downside is that the kitchen could use a few more cooking utensils and pots and pans (but I’m also one of those weird people who likes to cook on vacation). In short, I’d highly recommend this rental, and if this is the level of detail and communication of all homes rented by Vacasa, I would rent any of their properties. We’re definitely coming back with the family next time!

We wanted to escape the cold spring of San Francisco and decided to head down to Palm Springs. The house was so much better than pictured. Every detail was thought of and it's the perfect house for entertaining. The outside area and the barbeque was so great to make meals every night. The house is big enough to have privacy and each bedroom had its own bathroom. I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
