Dog-friendly home w/private pool, patio, pool spa, and gas fireplace

Stayed here for Coachella. Awesome place for a great price (relatively) and close to the Palm Springs Convention Center.

Loved the stay here! We came for stagecoach and we were only there in the mornings and got home really late. One annoying thing was the pull out bed in the living room had no curtains on it, so whoever was staying there was woken up with the sun every morning, not fun if you are getting back at 2 in the morning! The rooms were nice, the labeled kitchen made everything easy to find and put away, and the bathrooms were really nice! Had a blast staying here!

I loved the house it was super clean, nice location and spacious! The only thing that I didn’t like was that the WiFi was bad, and my signal wasn’t the best either. But apart from that everything was awesome! I rate it a 10/10 just solely on the fact that it looks like the pictures and the neighborhood it’s in is beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay. Location is great and house is big enough for a group. We wished it had been clearer that the hot tub needed to be pre-heated prior to arrival (and that there was a few) but other than that the stay was great

Highly enjoyed our 5 day stay over the Independence Day weekend. Area was calm tge entire time, the local Fireworks show was great. The house was clean and provided everything, made it super easy to prep meals, since this time we stayed in for all meals (except on day 3 when my husband and I snuck out for breakfast at Loco Charlies, highly recommend. The pool was perfect, it begins to get shade around 2pm but we enjoyed from 10am-8pm daily since it was 110-117° during our stay. Neighbors had an outdoor sound system which we were able to hear and really enjoyed the music selection (lucky since rentals aren't allowed to play outdoor music). We did have the alarm go off in the middle of the day for some weird reason but before the office answered owner deactivated and all was good again. Will definitely book again.

Manager Frank was very cooperative with check in and out. Very helpful... even brought us a bag of grapefruit from his tree! The owner Jim was very informative and flexible concerning pandemic requirements and regulations. Pool was perfect .. couldn’t get the kids out!

My favorite part of the inside was the lovely great room. The kitchen is open to the dining area with wet bar, which is open to the great room with vaulted ceiling and gas fireplace. Really really lovely and a pleasant place to spend time. Outdoors hands down is the pool. It was in the 60s when we were there so we paid the daily fee for pool heating and spent so much time out there. Loved it. The spa heated up quickly when we wanted to use that as well. Using the spa is included in the rental price but heating the pool is extra. Also loved having use of the garage to park the car in. Didn’t take advantage of the bikes but they looked good. Enjoyed walking the dog around the area Definitely would stay there again. The property manager, Frank, was great. Very helpful and fun to talk to.

Located off the main 25mph street in a quiet ‘no exit’ neighborhood, this home is conveniently suited for couples or families. Walking on sidewalks or riding bikes (provided) in well marked bike lanes was a plus; grocery stores and restaurants are located within 2 miles to the north and south, & 3 miles to downtown and the Thursday street market. Although you can hear planes taking off no matter where you are in Palm Springs, this home is not near either flight path. The privacy of the back yard/pool/spa was a tremendous benefit, especially for naturists. The home was comfortable, well equipped throughout, and the master bed is very sleepable. Like most rental homes, there is an extra charge to heat the swimming pool, but with this rental there is no extra charge to heat the spa. This couple would return to enjoy Casa De Serena - thank you!

I was greeted by Frank, the manager and he gave me the tour of the property. He showed how everything works including the spa. The area is so peaceful and quiet, you can hear nothing but the breeze and the birds chirping away. The living area and kitchen was spacious. The pool/spa was refreshing and well kept as well as the patio/lounge area. Well relaxing and comforting. Looking forward to stay again soon.

We found a gem in Casa de Serena. Roomy, comfortable, great service, pool, spa, handicap accessible, etc. Kitchen was well supplied with standard meal preparation and eating utensils. Most of the appliances were very new and stainless steel. We had one item break while we were there. I called Frank and he had a new part and had it fixed within a few hours! We would love to stay there again.

WE enjoyed our stay at Casa De Serena.Frank, the property manager was extremely helpful and it was a nice touch to have him greet us when we arrived. The house was very well stocked with supplies and the amenities were terrific. We enjoyed the spa, riding bikes and walking about a mile with our dog to eat eat at Loco Charlies for great Mexican food. The house is very close to downtown Palm Springs . We highly recommend this vacation rental and are looking forward to another visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the property manager, Frank was there to greet us and to ensure that everything was prepared for us. He was also available locally if needed. Humming birds in the citrus trees by the large shaded veranda were a delight. The pool and spa were good (no pool heating needed in early September) and were not overlooked by any other property. The quiet location was convenient for shops, tourism and the airport. The inside of Casa de Serena was spacious, beautifully furnished and well-equipped so we could enjoy any part of the day both in and out of doors. The air conditioning was effective and adjustable for our convenience and a comfortable stay. We are a retired professional couple from the UK and would highly recommend the property.

Thank you!!! It had a great time to be there. We were celebrated our princess's birthday and we all had a good time doing BBQ and swiming in the pool.. P.S. you don't have to bring your stuff there from home there was a lot of kitchen supplies and appliances and the refrigerator didn't have any smells, so you can keep your food nice and fresh.

This is such a quiet, relaxing area to stay. We were greeted by Frank(property manager) who showed us around the house and how to operate the pool, tv, etc. That was a nice touch we had never experienced at a rental. The available bikes were put to use as my husband and boys ventured around town. The house is clean and well appointed even for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. We enjoyed relaxing and laughing in this wonderful home. Close enough to bike or walk to many of the surrounding stores, but definitely a quiet neighborhood that was perfect for us. We enjoyed an evening walk to see the quirky Robolights that Frank recommended. Thank you for a beautiful place to enjoy some much needed family time. Love, love, love this home!

The best property we have booked through Home Away to date, we will try and be back. The booking process was so easy and payment dates very fair. Payments were easy through the Home Away site and credit card. The house was perfect and much better in person, pictures dont do it justice. The art work, knick knacks, general feel of the house was like a home and not a rental. Comfortable beds and very homey feel with everything needed. Wet bar was my favorite and we used it well. Layout of the house was simple yet functional. Dinning area kitchen and wet bar all in the same area, very nice. Living room was nice with a nice couch that turned into a bed and 3 comfy chairs. Piano and fireplace added a nice touch. Master bedroom and bath was very nice with a nice slider to go out to the pool area. Loved the sign on the wall going out to the pool area that said "we dont skinny dip, we chunky dunk" we sent the kids to the ice rink and took its advise. front and back desert landscaping was clean and nice, fruit trees in the back yard, nice BBQ we used almost every night. Pool area was super nice we spent lots of time out there. Pool was clean and nice Spa worked great, even a remote control that turned on the spa. Very nice lighting all around the property. Very quite neighborhood in the movie colony, my favorite area of Palm Springs, nothing but cul-de-sacs in the area and very quite. We really enjoyed our stay: the residence was clean and well maintained. The property manager was attentive and responded immediately to our questions and needs. The house is very open and pleasant. The citrus trees in the back provided wonderful shade AND FRUIT during a few weeks of 90-degree days, while the pool provided a place to tan and cool off at the same time. The house appeared to be well-insulated, we never found the need to turn on either the A/C or the heat - it was pretty much 68-74 inside every day and evening. The fans were effective. The enclosed yard provided privacy and security. The bicycles (3) available turned out to be a real bonus: they were road bikes. Palm Springs provides many, many bike lanes and/or paths aside the streets. It was an easy 2 mile / 12 minute ride to the PRC tennis center - a great warmup - and good for cooling down after matches. Downtown Palm Springs was about the same distance so we could explore with out bikes (locks were provided and Palm Springs provides bike lock stands) without a need to find parking. We were a 9 minute walk to the Ruth Hardy park for tennis, dog walks, basketball, volleyball, and kids playground. It was only about a 10 minute walk to get to the Movie Colony part of town The neighborhood was very nice and generally quiet except when the yards were being maintained around midday. When renting a house you never know what to expect. Casa De Serena has it all!! No matter if you rent alone or with friends/family it has plenty of room to spread out. Unlike typical house rentals with limited kitchen supply's, blankets and towels this house is packed full of extras to make your stay enjoyable. As a cooking enthusiast and sun soaking junkie I have to write about these two perks in particular. The kitchen had so many extras! The double wall ovens were awesome, a grill for barbecuing and more than enough pots and pans. The citrus Juicer was also a great little extra! Now for the awesome sun schedule in December! The pool area gets full sun from sunrise to sunset. You can lay out in the lounge chairs at 8am and you don't have to surrender to shade until 4pm! We enjoyed the bikes, the awesome gas fireplace and speedy wifi! Honestly why would anyone stay at a hotel when Casa De Serena is available. It's clean, close to downtown, and has a great manager! The location of this home is great. Short trip to any grocery or shopping store. House has everything you need to enjoy yourselves. Pool was excellent, entertained the kids well. The spa was great for soaking in. The kitchen is well supplied for cooking and plenty of seating for families. Enjoyed our coffee every morning out on the patio or at poolside. Loved picking fresh fruit every morning to go with our breakfast. Jim and Frank made everything so easy from answering questions promptly to meeting us to let us into the house. Frank was great about explaining how to operate everything in the house. Thanks to both. Look forward to returning again.

This is a beautiful and comfortable home. We stayed for 4 nights. We swam, went up the tram, visited the Village Festival on Thursday evening and had a wonderful vacation. The owner is easy to communicate with and his home has everything you would need. Frank, the property manager, met us at the home and made sure we knew where everything was. Can't wait to come back.

We stayed in this welcoming Oasis and it was close to things we wanted to do; far enough away from traffic and other distractions to provide the respite we needed! It's a comfy, cozy retreat that allows anyone to find his/her space for reading, lounging, sunbathing and more--a great place and we can't wait for another visit. It feels like home.
