The home was well set up, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. It’s one of the only Airbnb‘s in a long time that I can say had nice beds which is a huge plus. The neighborhood was easily accessible and central to any beach activities. You may want to do.

We had a lovely time! Great accommodations and location. We spent most of our time out on the patio enjoying the view of the water and the great weather. Restaurants were close, just a boat ride away.

Great location being right on the water! The neighbors to the left were very friendly (didn’t have a chance to meet the other neighbors). Hotel type cleanliness and service with the comfort of a home.

Overall a good stay. I gave a five-star review, though I'd rate closer to 4.25/4.5 (see my note at the end as to why). The good: House was very clean; a very well stocked kitchen with enough dishware, glassware, utensils, pantry items to cook for a large group. House felt very spacious for the four of us, and I could see it working well for six (though eight adults could get a bit tight). Deck and the outdoor table was also spacious and made for a very peaceful place for morning coffee or afternoon lounging. Beds and linens were comfortable and house was quiet, so made for easy sleeping. Close to several beaches, shopping, restaurants, and downtown Ventura even though location itself feels remote. Have your own private driveway and use of the garage. I had a couple of issues with instructions on how to use Wifi and lock the front door, but overall the rental company was very responsive. (One note: You get faster responses via text than AirBnB app, but as a guest you should protect yourself and always use the app in case there is an issue. We simply sent our questions/messages via text and the app). Other observations: As other reviewers have noted, overall the house is "tired" and could use a general refresh. It definitely feels like not much has been done since house was built in late 60's, early 70's. Nothing felt dingy, dirty, or "broken down", but updates (especially in shower area) would definitely elevate the entire experience; skylight in the master is odd. You can't really

The rental property was nice! The decor was a bit more dated than the pictures made it out to be but it was perfect for the group of us! I would definitely rent it again, and would recommend it to anyone! Made for a perfect 4th of July weekend catching up with friends!

We had a great stay, the house was very clean and tidy and the neighbourhood is very quiet and was perfect for our business trip. However, The house is in need of some modernisation as the decor and features are quite tired.
