The place was nice and like everyone else said the garage was hard to get into and the door was broken while we were there. It was one block from the beach and the hosts were very nice and responsive. The water in the shower was a little nutty - super hot, then just cold, and at one point no water at all. I loved the decor, it was spacious, and the patio was a nice outdoor space.

Perfect location to stay for our daughters college graduation. Luckily we addd her as a possible guest even though she lived locally. As soon as she walked in the door she fell in love with the apartment and how it was decorated. Needless to say, she stayed the whole time with us. One block from the beach trail, walkable to groceries, coffee and restaurants. Highly recommend this gem. Hoping to get the 2 bedroom in front for her next graduation.

Had an amazing time. Walking distance to pretty much everything which is perfect. The only thing I would say is maybe be a little bit more descriptive of where the B unit was because we were trying to get inside the a unit in the beginning until we figured it out.

First I want to say the location of this house is incredible! You walk out and are basically at the beach which is exactly what we wanted. We also really appreciated the small touches they had for us upon checkin. We stayed during thanksgiving and they left us with a roasting pan for our turkey as well as some additional treats for our kiddos. When we needed help they responded quickly and offered resolution immediately. As others mentioned the parking in the garage is tight but was not unmanageable. We would definitely stay there again,

Accurate description and photos. Spacious (about 1500 sq ft), large comfotable king bed. Excellent AC. Garage is small and hard to access with car parked across alley, but manageable with compact SUV (Chevy Trax). There are one or two street parking spots as well with a search between 39th and 41st or on Balboa. less than 100 steps to the beach. washer dryer worked well as did dishwasher with Vacasa package of laundry soap and dishwasher packets x2. Large bathroom. Lots of cabinet storage space and closet full of hangers. TV had lots of streaming channels and space to hook up my Apple TV. Very clean throughout- no dusty cabinets. Looking to stay there again.

This one bedroom cottage is spacious, tastefully decorated and has lots of beach charm. The location was fabulous and just a very short walk to the beach. The cal-king bed was super comfy with nice linens. The kitchen was nicely equipped with all the essentials. Everything was clean and in good condition. The garage parking is a very tight fit but we managed. The A/C worked great and is a nice addition since most Airbnb in the area don’t have it. We loved the patio deck. There are a few stairs to the unit, so if stairs are hard for you, it may be a problem. The property was quiet and private and close to a market and restaurants. It was the perfect beach escape for me and my husband. We would definitely stay here again.

I rated this stay 5-Stars for a few reasons: 1. Location 2. Location 3. Location I mean it is a super easy walk to the beach. The other perks, it’s super cute, has a shared washer/dryer (w/ 1 other unit) a private walk and own garage. Vacasa provides the basic necessities like a few towels, sheets, hangers, kitchen utensils, etc. Just like with any other place, if you use more than their standard 3 garbage bags, or roll of tp/paper towels then, you should plan to bring your own. Also, every room has a portable AC unit which works like a charm. The only con, which is really more of a nice to know, is the neighbor directly behind the garage has a parking spot on the street in front, across from the garage door. Once he parks there it is difficult to navigate out of the garage - and he will refuse to move his car if asked. Parking is also available throughout neighborhood but difficult to find at certain times of day. So, just keep this in mind. Otherwise, pretty great stay!

I’m Allan’ s wife , I Celebrated my 60th birthday and it was clean , simple , great and quiet . linens and bed was great , smelled clean , complete utensils, pull out bed was okay, may need a little bit of attention but clean and comfy…….. short walk to the beach, had a really great time, with my family, wish we could have added 1 more night to stay. My daughter and I stayed in Vacasa for Mother's Day weekend and it was exactly what we wanted. A simple, calm, inviting space with a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed coffee and muffins on the deck and felt very safe in the neighborhood. We appreciated the extra beach towels and chairs during our stay. While the air conditioner kept us cool at just the right time and added comfort to the weekend. We struggled a bit parking in the garage and we have a tiny tiny car. So, Please note - if you decide to use the 1 car garage for parking it is extremely small and street parking is very hard to find. We hope to return for more visits to Vacasa. It was the perfect spot to create Mothers Day memories in Newport!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The place was perfect for 2 people, it had a single car garage that was a bonus because we brought our super 73’s and kept them in there. Without having to share a garage and worry about locking them up. We were able to find parking for our truck on the street and never had to move. So we traveled all over on our bikes and kept them in the garage. Although everything is in walking distance. This place was also very private at the back upstairs and nobody below you. The bed was very comfortable which is a huge plus! Great place! We’ll be back for sure!

We loved this place! We’ll be back. Pros: It was immaculately clean. The whole home from beginning to end, top to bottom was spotless. Aesthetics were so cute; exactly as pictured. It was small, but perfect for us. It was a good value for what we got, and we loved how close it was to the beach, restaurants, and coffee shops. And the bed was soooooo comfortable!!! I slept through the night, which is uncommon for being out of my own bed. Cons: The garage is tight and difficult to get in/out of. Our car is very small and if it were any bigger, I have no idea how we would have used the garage. The house on the opposite side of the garage. Also, the tv is very small (like 33 inches) and the sound was awful—that was the only part we didn’t like about the home. Recommend a bigger tv for movie nights after the beach! Lastly, be mindful that there are quite a bit of stairs to enter so it’s not wheelchair accessible and note that you will be lifting suitcases up the stairs to enter.

Home was clean and easy to find. It was quiet and comfortable. The short walk to the beach was the best. There are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store nearby. We walked there multiple times during our stay. Con: Parking was not great. The resident directly across the alley parked in front of their garage which didn’t allow us to get in to the garage. Only one day we were able to because he happened to be gone. We found a spot on the road, across Balboa Blvd so we just left our car there the rest of the time. But this con is not a dealbreaker. We would definitely stay again. We highly recommend the home.

Loved our stay here, it is located on a quiet street just steps from the sand. The garage is very small, but we never had issues finding street parking. They provided extra towels and beach towels, bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. We plan on staying here again when visiting.

The location was fabulous with many restaurants in walking distance and of course having the beach and ocean a 1 minute walk was great. The sunsets were incredible. The bedroom and bathroom were very large and comfortable and the kitchen was beautiful and served all our needs. Next time we will be sure to bbq out on the deck. We brought our bikes and enjoyed the local trails along the beach everyday. Note the garage is very tight and may not fit a large SUV. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and are looking forward to returning again next year.
