My kiddos love going to out to the Desert. This lovely home made them feel like it was their own. It has everything there’s really no need to leave and if you do it’s really close the downtown (great restaurants, grocery stores, etc). We fell in love with the vibe! Thank you for having us! Nice and quiet neighborhood close to trails. The communication with vacasa was easy and prompt. November was too cold to enjoy the pool. House has old world charm, kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We have been vacationing in the desert for over 30 years and have found the most glorious, uniquely gorgeous home to rent. We absolutely loved our stay! We were in town for a friend’s wedding a short 15 minute drive away. We enjoyed our morning coffee by the pool and spent Saturday afternoon in town at a local restaurant and walking around. The house was perfect for the 4 of us, and I fell in love with all of the beautiful tiles and plants in the backyard! Would definitely recommend this home, and would absolutely stay again. We really enjoyed the property and our visit. I have 4 stars on instructions because some of the entry instructions were unclear and the WiFi wasn’t working due to the provided password in the instructions being wrong. But someone came by the house immediately when I reported the wi-fi not working and they determined the issue with password. All in all a great location. And would rent again

We stayed in this house during spring break with our 2 college age kids. It worked great. We cooked multiple meals and the kitchen was very well stocked. Also, nice pool area and grill.

This was our second time staying at Casa Chillon. It was just as we’d remembered from two years before. Last time was midwinter, this time peak summer heat. The pool was perfect, the house cool and comfortable at day and night, and the neighbourhood very quiet. Great place for star watching, and good food and shopping options back toward Indio and Palm Desert. Great walking trails in cooler weather. We will be back again.

The house is easy to live in. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We loved that the pool was private and the neighborhood was NOT in a golf course setting. The neighborhood was sweet, quiet and complete with great Santa Rosa mountain views and some trails not too far away. The landscaping was amazing. If you go, be sure and check out the La Quinta Museum. It was quite good. Also, we bought drinking water as the tap water was highly chlorinated. Vacasa is quite rigid about check in and check out times. You can check in by phone as the Vacasa Palm Springs office is abut 40 minutes away. The check in person from Vacasa was absolutely delightful, so much more human than the email communications! Overall - recommend. this house.

Our stay at Vacasa was wonderful! The kitchen was fully stocked, the house was very clean, and every little detail of the house had so much character! The only strange feature was that there was no wall between the master bedroom and its bathroom. No privacy what so ever! Besides that we had a great time but do recommend bringing a hat or an umbrella to use in the pool as there is no shade! We can't wait to come back and visit!

Lovely quiet & private home in charming La Quinta! We had a great weekend stay there. Rooms were comfortable with nice bathrooms, and the kitchen was well equiped for easy meal prep or more elaborate cooking. The outdoor pool was a perfect treat after a day full of activities. Loved the neighborhood with its easy walkable access to nature trails. We hope to come back soon :)

Great place except during our visit the weather was not the greatest as it was windy and made the pool feel colder. The house felt cozy and had plenty of towels which is great. The neighborhood was always quiet. House had everything from detergent and dryer sheets to kitchen utensils. Would definitely recommend to anyone. We didn't enjoy the pool at much because it's not heated but on a typical hot day it's great. Even got a good dark chocolate bar and card very nice touch.

House looked even better than the photos. We loved the old villa style aesthetic and the house came with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We made our trip with a plan to spend most of it in Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. It's about 40 min to Palm Springs and about 1:20 min to Joshua Tree. Kinda a long drive but the houses amenities really made up for it. Everything was so clean and orderly on arrival. We can't wait to go back.

This is a nice quaint Spanish style home perfect for a family or two. Very cozy and nicely designed. The host responds very quick and checking in and out was a breeze. The property was very clean and they supply you with almost everything you need and more than enough towels, pillows and linens. They also provide spa like toiletries like shampoos and conditioners which is a plus. All electronics and TVs are brand new with cable. The Centralize AC will keep you cool with no problem at all. My only suggestion is for the host to invest on a new mattress for the sofa bed and also some nice non stick pans that works. All in all we highly recommend this place and would definitely book it again. Thank you for everything!

The house was very cute and great for fun pictures with friends. The pool was not able to be heated since we did not stay for 3 days, but the weather was so hot that it really didn’t matter and we swam anyways. So don’t let that be a turn off that the pool is not heated. There is a Starbucks about 6 minutes away, and it’s about 10 minutes away from a Trader Joe’s. I’d love to come back and visit again!

Love this place. Super cute. Enjoyable back yard with pool and seating area. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Only problems. Check in. Was incredibly unclear. Vrbo needs to change that for certain. Emails were super confusing do you check in in another location or do you check in online the emails I need to be reread and re-done so the people understand exactly what’s expected While the place is perfectly clean and comfortable and wonderful a few things Need to be addressed. One they need to let you know when the gardener and the pool guy are coming so that you’re not surprised. I asked Verbo did let me know about that and they said they called me back and they never did so I just had to wait for them to come to know when their schedule was. Some of the kitchen Tools need to be updated especially the knives. It was nice that they had spices and olive oil and a few other things to get you started so that was nice. Would Definitely stay here again

My small group wanted a safe, clean getaway from Los Angeles during the pandemic, and this house was perfect. The house was immaculate when we arrived and the check in process was contactless and easy. We were able to get groceries delivered from the nearby sprouts, and we were able to order amazing pizza from Enzo's. We were not bothered by the 100 degree heat because the pool was PERFECT. It was a lovely little getaway. Would highly recommend this place for a pandemic escape, but I have no idea how far it is from attractions in normal times since we just hid in our little walled fortress the whole time.

We booked this last second when the air from the fires forced us indoors for days. The air quality in La Quinta was better and this house suited our family perfectly. Loved that there was a pool. I appreciate that the hosts take COVID cleaning precautions. That's definitely a deciding factor for us when choosing a vacation rental these days.

What a great and cozy house to stay in if you’re ever in the area! Communication - Response was a bit slower than normal as mentioned by a previous reviewer but someone did get back eventually. After the check-in time someone was thoughtful enough to check on us to make sure we were able to get in the house okay. Safety - My husband and I were traveling with our toddler and we felt very safe. Area was nice and quiet. Cleanliness - The place was very clean and exceeded our expectations. We appreciated the extra amenities that came with the house. The pool was clean; no bugs. It just had some small leaves in it since it was breezy but you can always scoop them out which is not a big deal. Overall we enjoyed our quick stay here and wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The home was beautiful and very clean when we arrived. Only hassle was the check in was unclear and had received some very confusing and contradictory communication. It was more of a hinderance in the planning portion, worked it self out in the end.
