Great spot, as advertised. Comfy beds and couch. Great deck, yard and hot tub. The front door lock was a bit tough to figure out at first, but was not an issue. Excellent location which is close to town, for walking on the roads or along the creek. Great place to let the kids loose in the yard to play. House manager was very communicative.

Wonderful place to relax. If you're tired of cramped rooms then this is the place to stay. Massive bedrooms and bathrooms, very clean, and quiet and peaceful surroundings. You can even walk to the downtown in 15 minutes. Kitchen dated but had everything, plus the refrigerator is huge. We only used the modern heating system, but it worked perfectly in the 35 degree weather. We would definitely come back, and plan to. Owner/Management was very responsive and sensitive to anything that came up. Thank you so much for the stay.

My husband and I brought our dogs and had a great time! The place was very clean and the hot tub was outstanding. The cabin is very close to the village. Very convenient for dining and getting groceries. The BBQ was easy to use and propane was provided. Loved having a gated yard for the dogs! We would book again.

Our stay here was even better than we could’ve expected. The house has real charm and felt like a comfortable, safe, and beautiful home. The location is so close to the town center which was a convenient drive away, and not hard to find on the road. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full meal, and they even had a virtual fireplace on the tv when we arrived. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely trip. The cabin was perfect and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. But it’s close to town if you want to grab a bite to eat. The beds are comfortable and the fireplace made it cozy. If you want to relax and enjoy some of the mountain vibes this is the place.

Was very happy with our stay. The cabin was just as expected, very cozy and inviting. Didn’t feel cramped or dated. Comfortable beds. The yard and deck areas were really nice. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful surroundings. It was a huge bonus having the outlet to charge our car. We never needed to stop at a charging station on our way there or back coming from SD. Everything was very clean. Quick 5 minute drive into town was super convenient. Would definitely book here again.

We do love staying at this house for its location to rock climbing and town. Have stayed a few times. We would love to see a little more investment in the kitchen plates and cups. All very scratched stained, the knives are so dull. For anyone that loves to cook even a little it is challenging.

This place was very dog friendly, our dog loved the large, fenced and beautiful yard. He enjoyed sniffing and exploring the grounds and we felt comfortable knowing he was safe. They even provided a dog bed! The lilacs were blooming and the fragrance filled the air in a quiet, private setting. Did I mention the quaint cottage was cozy, comfortable and adorable!

Lilacs, daffodils and a dusting of snow on the pines welcomed us to the Crow's Nest cabin. The location is perfect--less than 10 minutes from popular trails, shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the eclectic decor, small functional kitchen, comfy beds and beautiful views from the windows and deck.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy, spacious cabin. Our only complaint was that the jacuzzi, while being a selling point for this particular property, leaked and was unusable after the first night. Otherwise, the cabin is beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. I kind of wish we brought our pups as they even had an adorable dog bed, chew toy and fresh linens waiting for a furry friend! Would highly recommend and hope to be able to book this spot again!

Very cozy and rustic feel to this place that we loved! The jacuzzi is what really sold us especially when it’s cold out. Very close to the town to do things. Only problem we had is that there was no early check in. Check in at 4pm but have to check out at 10am? Seems like good enough time for owners to clean the place up and prepare for the next guest.

My husband and I come to Idyllwild for the beauty of the trees and mountains, and the smell of the fresh air and sunshine. We enjoy all of this by hiking, which is our primary activity while there. We are also unplugging from busy schedules, so we appreciate not seeing and hearing a lot of traffic! this home was just right for us, every window revealing mostly trees and sky. we LOVED the black out shades!! Never had better in any BnB! we slept so well. We also enjoyed the porch, spending time there reading after hikes. The heater was excellent, the beds were super comfortable, and bathrooms were all updated. We really enjoyed the quiet.

Our family and dog had a wonderful vacation in the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains at this cozy, mountain-themed home. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the rustic charm and modern amenities of the house. The wood fireplace provided a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the well-appointed deck quickly became our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening relaxation. Each day, we ventured out to hike one of the many trails in the area. The variety of trails meant that there was always something new to explore. In the afternoons, after our adventures, we soaked in the outdoor hot tub, letting the warm water soothe our tired muscles as we took in the serene mountain views. The location of this rental is perfect for a peaceful yet convenient getaway. Being less than a mile from the heart of Idyllwild-Pine Cove, we found it easy to walk into town for dinner each night. The town itself is charming, with a variety of shops, dining options, and galleries. The home is thoughtfully designed with a blend of rustic and modern elements. We loved the hardwood floors and knotty pine ceilings, which gave the house a true mountain cabin feel. The living room, with its high ceiling and rock-faced wood-burning fireplace, was a cozy spot to unwind. The kitchen was well-stocked with essential cookware and modern appliances, making it easy to prepare meals and snacks. The provided WiFi kept us connected and entertained during our downtime. Lovely home. Well appointed furniture, very comfy beds. A few things we noticed.: Kitchen knives were dull. Perhaps consider adding a knife sharpener for guests. Coffee maker didn’t keep coffee warm, was old and tricky to use, please consider a new coffee maker. Our dogs found under the main bdrm 2 chewed up meat bones from previous renters. The place was clean but being mindful of checking under the bed for such things would be good. The place was very comfortable and we enjoyed the spacious deck. We shall be back

The crow’s nest is a wonderful little house to get some peace and quiet. There are neighbors on either side but the noise level is very low, often completely silent outside. The yard is well fenced in including chicken wire around the bottom of the fence to keep even the tiniest dogs safe to roam. Hot tub worked well, as did the grill, and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans making it easy to prepare meals. Loved it!

We had a wonderful time. The place was charming, clean and very comfortable. Two small things: 1) There was s very strong sewer smell coming from under the deck near the kitchen door. We tried to locate it but couldn’t pinpoint. 2) There is only one broken ice tray. We recommend replacing it. If we were staying longer I would have bought a couple as a house gift!??

For a Vacasa rental, this one was nice. Picket fence around the yard wouldn’t hold in a chihuahua, but would at least slow larger dogs down. If you have an escape artist, you’ll need to keep a close eye. Hot tub wasn’t fancy, but it was hot so we enjoyed it. House is about 3/4 mile from town, a nice walk. The house was cozy. Rooms are big and beds are comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and utensils, but didn’t have a lot of spices or sugar so make sure you bring your own. The neighbor has a firewood business I think because he used a power saw cutting wood all day Saturday until 6pm. Thankfully he didn’t do it Sunday. When he wasn’t sawing you could hear the stream from across the street. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Great property with plenty of room for a family of four plus a furry friend or two. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials such as cooking oil, salt and peppers, herbs and spices. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The property also has some very nice touches like a dog bed, umbrella and scarf in case you've forgotten those things. It's also conveniently located within walking distance from town.

Great location with plenty of parking. Private hot tub and deck with ample chairs and tables. Quiet, safe neighborhood within walking distance of downtown Idyllwild. Master bedroom has wonderful comforter and sheets, mattress was 8 out of 10 for comfort. Second bedroom has same sheets and comforter but a stiffer mattress, giving its comfort level a 6 out of 10. Showerheads in both bathrooms need a CLR cleaning due to mineral build up, shower pressure 5 out of 10. Wifi and streaming services worked great in every room. Temperature is well maintained by the thermometer an easily modified. Fireplace vents smoke well, no issues.

The house was lovely, in a beautiful spot, with great views of nature and ventilation that lets you really feel "outdoors", even when indoors. The hot tub is not to be missed, and a quick drive (or if you're up to it, a walk) will take you to the charming center of town, with plenty of food and shopping options to enjoy. When we arrived, the master bedroom's bed was broken, but they were able to get a handyman out first thing next morning to mend the problem. The only other note is that if you are a larger individual, seating may be an issue - the couches, while comfortable, are very low and soft, and standing from them was difficult for me. In addition, the other seating options are narrow-arm loungers and high counter stools, so your fortune may vary. Additionally the guest bathroom has a bit of a tight squeeze between the sink and tub to get to the toilet, so keep that in mind if you are larger and/or handicapped. Regardless, we had an absolutely lovely time and would gladly return!

Quiet, clean, cozy location with a helpful and informative host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Location was an easy 5-minute drive to town center. Bedrooms and bathrooms were more spacious than I'd anticipated from the photos. Appreciated the dog-friendly amenities such as an extra dog bed/linens, potty bags, coat rack with some extra leashes and even a thundershirt. Large standing fan was a life-saver for someone who prefers to sleep with white-noise. My itinerary was so packed we didn't get to try the hot tub, but maybe next time!

Very happy with our stay. Clean cabin with all the amenities and walking distance (a bit uphill) from town. Great enclosed property for the dog to run--it's a very dog friendly cabin... although my two-year old kept gravitating to the comfy dog bed lol. Everything felt very homey. Capable internet and roku for streaming. My parents thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. We left cinnamon to accompany the spice rack :) Thanks for a wonderful little time away!

This place was exactly what I hoped it would be - Tucked away in the forest but close enough to run to the grocery store and grab some more wood and champagne!!! I had such a lovely stay at this vacation home. The place was clean and comfortable and easy to navigate, and the location was great- far enough from the town center to feel quiet and peaceful, but close enough that you could get to town by walking (or take a two minute drive). I spent a lot of time in the hot tub, and it was lovely. They have the hot tub set into the deck and a bench built around its rim, so it’s super easy for someone short or with mobility issues to get in and out of. No climbing or hoisting yourself or awkward scrambling required. I completely recommend this place, and I hope I can visit again soon!

We loved this little cabin in the mountains - we enjoyed the location - less than 1/2 mile from restaurants and little shops. The hot tub was great too. It got cool at night so we used the fireplace to stay a little warmer. The place is very clean and nice , but the master bath shower could use some love - it’s a little moldy. We definitely would stay here again.

Our stay was great! The house was cozy and had games and puzzles and the jacuzzi was hot when we arrived. We were able to temporarily close the front gate to the property so our dog had a large enclosed area to safely enjoy the outdoors. Would definitely return.

It’s a spacious, beautiful cabin, we had a wonderful time and our dog was able to run free in the yard thanks to the safe gates. The manager with who we interact ed a bit was very nice to us. I do thing that having to check out at 10am is a bit too early, considering the check in is at 4pm, I know it’s for cleaning reasons but I’ve never seen a place with a check in so early
