Inside we enjoyed the cozy cabin and outside, the deck with its amazing view and the jacuzzi, giving us the full day experience. We had an excellent stay, I Especially appreciated communication with manager Elizabeth, who went above and beyond to ensure all of my questions were addressed. The property superseded our expectations. Very clean and well kept, very so spacious. I loved all of the different lamps, comfortable blankets and furniture. The jacuzzi was a plus. lots of privacy. Beautiful large kitchen for home cooked meals.Thank you. Would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous house in a beautiful and private location. The house is real wood which was an amazing treat. The back deck is incredibly private, was a nice place to get outside and enjoy the views. The main living area and kitchen were so incredibly spacious, the cabin was comforting and a joy to stay in. Furniture so comfortable to stay in. You're close enough to hike to Deer Springs trail head, but you'll likely need to drive to any of the other trails. Hosts did a great job of maintaining and keeping the place clean. Would love to stay again.

Loved our stay! The cabin was perfect. We loved the big deck, jacuzzi and wood burning stove! The cabin was close to town but it still felt very secluded. Lots of beautiful trees and very quiet and peaceful. Wifi worked well as one of us had to work remote while there. The heating system was a bit loud and would turn on and off throughout the night so if you’re a light sleeper, maybe bring ear plugs. Also the walls are thin so something to keep in mind! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

We had a really great time. We stayed on the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving and Idyllwild wasn't too busy. There's a good amount of things to do in town. Our favorite restaurant was Cafe Aroma, definitely worth a visit. The home was very clean and cozy. The hot tub was operational and had a great view of the valley. The pots and pans available are a bit old and it would have been nice if the seasonings cabinet had more than just salt and pepper. If you're planning on making any meals here you should make sure you get/bring EVERYTHING you think you'll need. The only other small complaint is that it would be nice if there were string lights wrapping around the deck railing or maybe along the roof on the deck. It got very dark out on the deck in the hot tub which can be nice but it would also be nice to be able to have more ambient light. All-in-all, it was a very nice cabin and cozy stay. We had a great time!

What a beautiful cozy cabin. We had a small issue with a key missing, but that got fixed right away. What a perfect get away. The beds and pillows were comfy. Everything about this cabin was perfect. We loved eating at the beautiful dining table. The best was getting into the jacuzzi! The area is nice and feels secluded. We are keeping this to our “must return” list. We will be coming back again for sure. Absolutely lovely!

Beautiful Rustic Cabin

The pictures in the listing don't do the cabin justice. It's more beautiful in real life and has tons of character. There are many thoughtful touches, like dozens of books and a large supply of games. We were looking for a quiet and private place for a few days and this was perfect. The cabin is near the end of a dead-end road so traffic is minimal and there is lots of privacy on the deck. The main village of Idyllwild is about 5 minutes away by car so the location was very convenient. I would absolutely plan another visit here.

This was a much needed weekend getaway/hiking trip for myself and 2 friends. The house was perfect, with really nice touches throughout, certainly not decorated from the big box stores. Up a hill in the woods with a genuine rustic feel and an a brilliant deck where we spent a good chunk of our time, either in hot tub, breakfasting al fresco, on the hammock with a book or just bird watching. Close to plenty of hiking trails and to town, yet far enough away to feel that you were 'away'. Very relaxing, I would absolutely return.

This cabin was so wonderful for a quick family getaway near LA. As soon as we got there, the family walked around and admired all the beautiful decor, lamps, and woodwork. We got snowed in one of the days, but there was so much to do in the cabin: board games, movies, jacuzzi in the snow!, etc. Everything felt clean and spacious. My mother also left her brand new orthopedic pillow and they shipped it out to her the very next day! We loved this place and will definitely be back!!

Important Details Before You Book

House Rules

  • Check-In: After 4 PM | Checkout: 10 AM
  • No smoking or vaping
  • Renters must be 25 years of age or older
  • No Music is allowed outside of the rental home (at any volume)
  • Parking is restricted to 1 car per bedroom in designated parking spaces.
  • Pets are not allowed in Non-Pet Friendly Properties
  • Please do not exceed the max occupancy of the home
  • All rentals require state and county tax plus additional required fees
  • Damage waiver covers renter for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property.
  • If the house you are renting has a pool, the pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival.

Booking & Cancellation Policies

All reservations require a valid photo ID and a signed rental contract.

Short-Term Stays (28 nights or less):

• 100% Refund: Cancel within 48 hours of booking.
• 60+ Days Before Arrival: 100% refund of all charges.
• 30–59 Days Before Arrival: Refund of all charges except the booking fee.
• 8–29 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of all charges except the booking fee. Booking fee not refunded. 
• 7 Days or Less Before Arrival: No refund.

Long-Term Stays (29 nights or longer):

• 6+ Months Before Arrival: 100% refund.
• 91 Days–6 Months Before Arrival: Refund of all charges except the booking fee.
• 60–91 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of rent and other fees refunded. Booking fee not refunded. 
• 60 Days or Less Before Arrival: No refund of rent or booking fee; other fees refunded. 

Third-Party Bookings:

Policies vary by platform (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.); refer to the platform's policy.

Travel Insurance:
