Pleasant area to be in for a private trip and beautiful scenery. If you want a cozy home that is relative close to the town and lake Hemet then this is a great location for an individual or with your family. Hosts are responsive and very helpful with any needs you need. Area is well kept and clean.

Beautiful place and in a nice area. Super close to all the restaurants and main town so we could walk or drive over there. Even without ac it was still super cozy inside, only needed the one fan at times. Host communicated super well and helpful instructions so we didn’t even need to reach out. Highly recommend.

This house is so cute, loved the cabin feel in a quiet neighborhood but close to the main area of idyllwild. We stayed here to attend the Ren Faire at Hurkey Park and it was perfect. Really loved the detached bedroom perfect for mixed groups or couples to have their own space.

I love this cabin so much for so many reasons! Aside from checking all the basic necessities, it offers a plethora of amenities. The attention to detail doesn’t go unnoticed, from the fried chicken bucket lamp to the thoughtful color choices and décor, everything just works. It’s centrally located but not too close, so you still get a peaceful night’s sleep. At night, the stars are in full effect. Plus, you’re close to local trails and all the charming nearby shops.

A very cooly decorated cabin in a south-western motif with artifacts from the late 1950's/early 1960's. It reminds me of a miniature version of Will Roger's ranch house (without the stables and polo fields) in Pacific Palisades, CA. We found this cabin to be very clean with all the amenities we needed. Would love to come back again sometime.

We had a lovely stay here! I wasn’t aware that the third bedroom is a separate building and our kids are too young to stay alone so they all slept together in the small bedroom which worked out fine. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings, loved that we were able to use the fireplace which made it super cozy. We booked a third night while already there because we enjoyed it so much and our host was very responsive in accepting the additional night and very helpful in warning us about the winter storm coming while we were there. Definitely would stay here again!

Few suggestions: The master bedroom (separate unit) had different vibes than the other unit. Loved the ecopod. Property manager was responsive. The ants started showing up from the second day.

Our recent stay at the "Serene & cozy vintage 1950s cabin with fireplace" was a delightful escape into rustic charm. Nestled amidst serene surroundings, this vintage cabin provided the perfect backdrop for a cozy retreat. Accommodations were comfortable throughout our stay. Both the main house and the casita exuded a sense of cleanliness and care, ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests. While our experience was overwhelmingly positive, we did notice a few minor repairs that could enhance the overall experience. However, I'm pleased to note that these concerns have been shared with the attentive management staff, who I'm confident will address them promptly. In conclusion, our stay at this vintage cabin was a memorable and rejuvenating experience. From the serene ambiance to the cozy comforts, it offered everything we sought in a retreat. We arrived to a winter wonderland but the cabin was warm, inviting and just what we expected a 1920’s cabin to be-rustic! Felt like we stepped back in time. We wanted to get away from our everyday life and modern distractions and experience a return to yesteryear and that is exactly what this cabin did for us. It was time for reading, napping, eating and exploring. The cabin met all of our needs and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Customer service was just a phone call or text away. They were prompt to help us with an issue that came up, my son shut off the heat which actually shut off the pilot, too. So it was cold in the living room but was quickly fixed. We read above the dirt on the floors so we brought house slippers. It wasn’t bad but it is a rustic home! Yes, the floorboards are old, but it’s to be expected in an older, well loved vacation home. We really enjoyed our stay and our family unanimously agreed that we would love to stay here again!

We had the most amazing time staying here. The cabin is so lovely and has so much life and character and history embedded in its bones. You can feel the energy running through this little cabin. We love cabin style living . We stayed two nights and were out most of the time so we didn’t really use anything ! The water was boiling hot . Great for a shower . The bathtub situation was a little difficult with that huge plastic all around … There was no way of plugging up the bathtub so one could take a bath unfortunately … The bed was comfy and once we figured out how to turn on the heater the place was warm ..The decor fabulous , looking over the books from the fifties great fun ! The town of Idyllwild absolutely divine ! Everyone has a dog !! It’s incredible you see the most lovely dogs walking around town with their owners and we were lucky enough to meet Max the Mayor of the town !!! ( a Golden Retriever ) You just know a town can’t be bad if it has a dog for a Mayor ! All in all our trip was great and we would love to return one day !

IDEAL little cabin for a snowy weekend. 2 minute drive from town, but very private. Cozy, eclectic and nicely updated with recessed lighting and vintage furnishings. Heat worked great! Had no need for the space heaters and the huge stone fireplace heated the home easily. Lots of extra blankets + well stocked with games and chotskis. The third bedroom is a private, detached studio and SO cozy. We are already looking forward to returning with some friends. Management company was quick to ensure we had everything we needed. Check-in was easy and check-out procedure required nothing of us. A breeze! Only thing: - sadly no warm water. I imagine this would be an inconvenience for a family, so my advice would be to check with the management company in advance to ensure it's working. - as we read from another review, if you are planning to cook, bring any all and all condiments. They have tons of cookware but no kitchen basics, so we packed our own. 5-stars, can't wait to return!

This cabin is a 1950s authentic, rustic, quaint cabin. If you're looking for a place with a modern feel, this isn't it (except for the washer/dryer addition perhaps). If you're looking for a cabin that hasn't changed much in 60 years, that makes you sigh with nostalgia, this is the perfect place for you. Even has old school, keyed roller skates and a Chinese checker board as part of the decor. We would not change a thing about it. Everything works, I think. We never turned on the TV, so can't confirm it's working. The place was very clean. Only downsides were the Keurig coffee machine and the trundle bed. We were 3 older gals, staying 2 nights, and they only provided 4 Keurig coffee pods. Ugh. Plus, we really don't like the environmental impact of individual, plastic pods. Our generation and our parents' generation have done enough damage to the Earth. We brought our own coffee because the listing said it had a coffee pot. Next time, we'll confirm the type of coffee maker. The trundle bed was quite firm and almost unusable. The bedroom door handle kept coming off, too. But we actually thought that added to the charm of the cabin, so we didn't mind it at all. Please don't fix it! The Vacasa property manager needs more employees. We had some questions during our stay, including a time-sensitive question, and we didn't receive responses until more than a day later. Not a good look for the Property Manager. All in all, please keep this place as quaint as it is.
