Beautiful place to stay with family and friends. A lot things to do near the house. The home style is distinctive. Home inside is clean and tidy. Vacasa California team is super helpful, they responded quickly when I called them and asked information. They even prepared the blankets and water bowl for my dog! Me and my family definitely want to come back next time!

Great little getaway! House was how its describe it on their Ad. My kids had a home away from home at this house . Love the fireplace ! Kids were able to walk down n see the Deers down the street from house n squirrels in our backyard . 2 /4mns away from restaurants. Brewpub was great ! Didnt had time to visit Ferros rest but we had in the past! We recommend to visit all the little shops n museum n go for a hike etc . Lots to do ,You just have to know where everything its at. Love this location!! :) The place is exactly what you need for a large family! Big, spacious and everything you need!! Thank you Vacasa!! Idyllwild was such an amazing weekend getawa! Everything is very close BUT BEWARE if it is snowing they do not joke about chains, the drive way is enough for 3 cars but chains required when parking or driving.

My family of 6 had a great stay. There was plenty of space, and everything we needed to cook and relax for a few days. The heater and appliances were easy to use. Another review recommended backing into the driveway, and this was a huge help. The description mentioned having a blow dryer, but I couldn't find it. Maybe it was just left in the wrong place, but if that's important to you, you might want to bring one. Other than that, the cabin had literally everything we needed, including the little things I always forget, like coffee filters and laundry soap.

Our immediate family of seven stayed for a few days to attend my daughter’s wedding in Idyllwild. The property was perfect for our needs, very clean with spacious seating areas. A few items showed some wear and tear, but nothing major. Be forewarned that the driveway and entry stairs are very steep, a challenge for anyone with mobility impairments.

The cabin is spacious and all the furniture and beds are comfy. Really good layout for a big family. Definitely worth the money. Driveway is pretty steep and dips at the bottom so make sure your car has good clearance and pick your best angle for getting on it.

The inside of the house was wonderful the beds were comfortable , they had so many kitchen appliances and different size pots and pans available for our use. The fire pit and fire place was amazing , all three decks/patios were furnished and very comfortable…the only downside was the fact that no one warned us how low the driveway was resulting in us scraping the bottom back end of our cars..the back yard has an amazing view of deers & just nature itself early in the morning…most stores are no further than a 7 minute drive away so that was very convenient..all in all we enjoyed our stay & would definitely book again.

This is our second time staying at a Vacasa property and we are so happy. This property in particular was central, clean, private, and beautiful. We felt right at home. We had no issues at all. The driveway was steep and there are many stairs to climb, but we didn’t mind one bit. Would definitely recommend this location if you’re planning a trip to Idyllwild.

Pros: The mountain house was very spacious, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. The house is tastefully designed, and there were no issues with the bathrooms, kitchen, or heating whatsoever. It offered amazing value for our group of 5 adults and 2 children. Everything was spotlessly clean, and our communication was easy. The photos represent the size and appeal of the house well. Cons: Despite the listing stating "Entire home in Idyllwild-Pine Cove, California," we had no access to any of the garages. Additionally, the driveway is very steep. We scraped the front bumper of our Chrysler Pacifica minivan and had to improvise with some logs to prevent further damage. Aside from the minor inconvenience of parking, our stay was great. We would definitely consider staying in Idyllwild-Pine Cove again.

This was such a fantastic stay. I booked last minute and I am really glad that I did. The home is very clean and welcoming, and the décor is really nice as well. The space was big enough for my 6 person family, with room for one or two more people. I absolutely love the open layout of the home and the fireplace section is such a beautiful area adjacent to the living room space. For as big as my family is we had no problems with bathrooms as there were three bathrooms in the home and two showers. We used the kitchen appliances several times during our stay with no issue. It was a bonus that they welcomed our dog with our stay, with them going as far as providing separate dog sheets and dog waste bag roll with dispenser. I was surprised to see how many little businesses were close by. This made having to go to the store for things we forgot to pack so much easier. Communication was great and Vacasa was quick to respond.

Beautiful home!! So close to town. It was the perfect getaway in Idyllwild. The only things I would maybe warn about: the driveway entrance slope is a little steep for compact/ low cars. There are a lot of stairs so if you have kids or older people thats one thing to consider! Other than that it was a steal for the price :-)!!!

What a charming space with an incredible location! We brought my father in-law and mother in-law out along with my family for a long weekend to celebrate their birthday and what an amazing weekend! We had at least 25 deer run through the yard while we were in the fully stocked kitchen (that we saw)! We were able to cook our meals all together and go hiking up the road everyday. The hiking near by CANT be beat with a beautiful trail with tree coverage all along. The charming downtown area is maybe a 3-5 minute drive from the house and a great spot for shopping, baked goods or some seriously amazing food at FARROS if your looking for a great Italian dinner perfect to celebrate at! The master bedroom was a great space with tons of room and a sweet little deck. The 2 other bedrooms were nice and the bathrooms were clean. The sink in fireplace was so cool! My one thing you will definitely need to prepared for is there are a LOT of steps and a very steep driveway so be ready to get your steps in for the day!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The deck is a great place to relax and watch the sunset. The gas BBQ is definitely a plus. The driveway is extremely steep and tricky to manage. Three cars can fit but its tight and one car would have to park behind another. The extra sleeping area is actually one of the blue sofa sleepers in the living room. From the photos, we thought it was the sofa that looks like its in a semi private loft area but that sofa is not a sleeper and you cant even sleep on it because it is sloped. Its actually part of the master bedroom. The town is walkable, 20 minutes to the Brew Pub by foot only if you find the "secret pathway" You will have to walk up a couple pretty steep hills, which we liked for the exercise but its definitely not a flat easy walk. The master bedroom has a skylight, so if you like your room dark when you sleep, choose another room :-) The living space in front of the fireplace is very quirky, but hey, this is Idyllwild! When I booked this rental I wasn't 100% sold on it as it had zero reviews but after looking at my booking a week priorI just realized it was a new rental location. The house is mi6ch more beautiful in person and exceeded my expectations. The host replies within minutes even if 2am(which I messaged them to clear up some checkout instructions with). My family was extremely comfortable and impressed with how accommodating the house was. The patio was also lovely, there are two(by the dining room and main room). I was left extremely satisfied and will definitely be booking agian.

The home was a dream! It is quiet, yet the town is less than 5 minutes away. The kitchen was a beautiful place to cook our meals and view the treetops. The bedrooms were clean and well-cared for. They welcomed our dog, which was the absolute best. They even left specific linens for him to sit on the couch and a blanket to sleep on.
