Had a good experience. However be aware that you are required to sign a separate contract in addition to booking through AirBnB. I was not made aware of this or given the opportunity to review the contract prior to making a non-refundable booking which was annoying.

We loved our stay. The house is spacious with great bedrooms, living areas and a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Even though the house is large, there are quiet get away places. The patios are fabulous and the views from the large windows are beautiful. We felt like we were living in the treetops. Just don’t bring great grandma…three stories require lots of stairs. Would love to come back again.

The space is great for a family get away. It is cozy, has games, and conveniences of home. It is a distance from the center of town. The stairs are a trek, specially loading and unloading. Great home -- wish it was closer to town.

The cabin is huge and super nice, definitely a great location in Idyllwild, just 5 minutes from the strip with all the stores and restaurants. I felt like the cleaning fee was a bit steep considering a lot of the kitchen utensils and cookware were a little dirty and I needed to rewash them. On that same note, the kitchen stuff was a bit older but it worked fine for cooking dinner. Overall it was a great stay and I’d 100% stay there again!

Great house for our family vacation, we had a great time! Walking distance from kid-friendly trails and beautiful views. The only fyi for families is that the balusters/railings on the loft are spaced apart (our 5 yo could have fit through), and the outdoor balcony has horizontal wire — so we had to make sure the kids were always closely supervised. But this was easily managed with the layout. Vacasa was super responsive when we had questions about inclement weather. Overall we had a great time and plan to stay here again!

Lovely house which worked well for six adults and a dog. House is on a hillside so be prepared for many steps to reach the house from the road - fine for us though. Nice welcoming touches.

The house was comfortable and as described. While the interior is a bit dated, it was clean and decently maintained. The house was only a short distance from the center of Idyllwild and the neighborhood was quiet with friendly residents.

Truly a gem in a beautiful town. Conveniently located 10 minutes away from the downtown area. Where you can find donuts, burgers, brew, and plenty of little shops. The house is at the end of a culdesac. Fully equipped with everything you may need in the kitchen. The bathroom was also fully stocked with necessities. Our children had a blast in the top bedroom and enjoy playing with games. You get a beautiful view from the top balcony. This is also where we enjoyed our meals during our stay. We will definitely be returning to this location.

It’s a long, windy road uphill getting there, but the views are spectacular. Big deck is great - we spent a lot of time there. Wood stove in the main room heats things up in the chilly evenings and mornings. Homey and comfortable.
Great location. Peaceful and quiet. Close to the town and the hiking trails. I would stay at the place again on my next trip.

Lovely property. The location is isolated, especially relative to the other properties around it. The top deck is nestled among the pines and you can watch birds and squirrels during the day, or watch the bats collect bugs at night. The spacious property allowed for plenty of room to enjoy. Very clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. AC/heating worked well. We had a lovely stay and hope to be back.

The cabin was beautiful and well-kept. Some of the TVs and game consoles were inoperable but there were plenty of board games to keep the kids busy. We enjoyed our quiet getaway in this spacious cabin!

This dog friendly Idyllwild cabin was large and perfect for our mountain weekend getaway. It snowed the morning after we arrived. There is a beautiful wall of windows on the main 2ne floor that had a view of the snow covered forest and a fireplace that made the whole place feel super cozy. We also loved being able to cook our meals in the well-stocked kitchen. Lots of boardgames as well! Really enjoyed our visit.

We had a great time in Idyllwild staying at this cabin in the woods. It was a very quiet spot and the best feature is the balcony where we sat and watched birds, butterflies, and other wildlife in the beautiful trees and after the sunsets, bats and the clear nigh full of stars. Kitchen was very functional, did lots of cooking. Tons of space for the four of us with two dogs. It was over 90 degrees during the day so it was a warm weekend. Enjoyed our stay very much overall! Would love to return during the colder winter months. Some windows could use some screens and the door to the balcony could use a more permanent screen.

This is a beautiful home in the mountains with a wonderful deck to view the stars at night! There is no AC so be sure to open the windows and use fans to cool the home off. The main level gets very warm during the day, but cools off easily with the use of fans. Kitchen is well stocked with the basics for an easy stay. It was the perfect place for a week away!

Great location just outside the town of Idyllwild. Beautiful views from every room and the expansive deck. Home sleeps 6-7 comfortably. Kitchen has ample storage, pot/pans and gas stove. Close to numerous hiking trails and Lake Hemet. Sunsets were unbelievable!

We LOVED this house. It's right on the edge of the national forest so we were able to walk over there and get a great sunset. The three levels and the high ceilings make it feel so spacious and open and we loved hanging out on the balcony and having our coffee in the morning / wine in the evening. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook and even a few spices etc. There were some ants in the kitchen from time to time but considering we were there in the summer that was to be expected. There were also a lot of mosquitoes outside but we found coils in the house to burn to keep them away which was very thoughtful. It was very hot during the day but there was a fan upstairs and the air conditioning downstairs saved us (I don't even think it was on the listing, it was such a nice surprise) The only thing I would recommend to anyone is to bring your own sheets and blankets. The ones on the beds were very rough, I'm not usually picky but they felt like sandpaper. Other than that I would 1000% recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be booking again.

Everything you could need. We had an incredible white Christmas together at this beautiful spot. Tips; buy ample firewood for the living room fireplace/wood burning stove. We went through about 3/4 bundles a day to enjoy a roaring fire/ stay cozy throughout. The downstairs gas fireplace is not available for use. 10/10 recommend!
