This is a wonderful spot. I came to Cayucos for my mom’s funeral and it was the most beautiful and serene location I’ve stayed at on the central coast. Everything was as described but I knocked a star off the cleanliness because the sheets on the main bed had not been changed and there was lots of curly hair on the sheets and pillow. Other than that, is was perfect.

Outstanding place and location. Can't beat the views. Nice size kitchen and living area. A bit cluttered needing more space upon entry for shoes, backpacks etc. However, works well and is comfortable for 6 adults. The parking in the driveway needs to be improved and or enforced. There are two units on the property but one driveway. It took coordination with the other tenants so not to get blocked in.

Gorgeous and convenient location! Waking up in the morning was incredible! Furniture could use some updates and there is only salt and pepper, so be prepared to bring your own sugar and spices??. Very walkable property and we hardly noticed the renters below us. Enjoy!

This place was a really lovely "home base" while we tasted wine in Paso Robles and hiked along the ocean. The balcony allowed us to enjoy the waves and sea life (saw otter, seals and a dolphin - you do need to bring your own binoculars) and it was a quick 2-3 houses down either way to access the beach. We walked in for coffee each morning - 5 minutes or less - and the access to a cute downtown is super easy. Parking is convenient, too. Some have commented on the bed in the back bedroom - my two nieces (19 & 21 years old) had no problem with it and the other beds were very comfortable. The couch in the living room does indeed have plywood under the cushions but it works fine for sitting. There were three great throw blankets provided that were used each morning to bundle up as we enjoyed the deck. We would come back and use this house again in a heartbeat.

I don’t know that you will find a more beautiful view from a AirBnb in Cayucous. Large windows look out to the ocean from second floor unit and we sat on the deck each night enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sun set over the water. House is clean and spacious and a couple block walk to great restaurants and the Main Street.

What an amazing place to stay! Incredible view inside and out! Love the fully stocked kitchen and amenities. Washer/dryer easily accessible. We saw dolphins and whales from the balcony and loved how close it is to so many beach access points. Had a wonderful time and would love to go back! Thanks!

Perched right over the ocean / beach in Cayucos and within walking distance of everything in town. Very easy check in and check out. Classic beach living type of feeling. Hear the ocean and enjoy the amandine balcony. Plenty of blankets, some books/toys that our four year old played with. Fully stocked kitchen. Heating for the windy, cooler evenings. Would definitely stay again. Main room for improvement is the older couch and mattresses on the beds.

The location is stunning and the value is excellent. Cayucos is adorable! The beach walks were so lovely, and the beds / couch were not as bad as I expected based on the reviews. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything you might need, though the knives were very dull. That's a minor complaint though, for such a fantastic Airbnb. Would book again for sure.

If you’re looking for a beautiful location....this is the place for you. We stayed on the second floor and our view was spectacular. To get to the beach you have to walk down a couple houses to the beach access. Charming little beach house!

We absolutely loved our stay at this incredible house on the beach. The views were incredible, the house is super family friendly and we loved the little town of Cayucos. The beach was secluded enough that we felt safe during COVID. We can’t wait to come back!

LOCATION was wonderful -- just as all the reviews suggest. So incredible to sit on the balcony for stunning sunsets and watching the ocean all times of day and night. We were super lucky to see whales from the balcony one day, also lots of dolphins. Love the shabby chic beach house vibes. Beds were not as uncomfortable as the reviews suggest. I think they have added foam toppers to the double and the queen. Twins seemed fine. We also brought an additional topper for the queen. Kitchen was well-equipped for a beach house rental. Love this location and how close it is to town, the pier and several access points. Great restaurants for covid-safe takeout. Loved Hidden Kitchen. Would for come back again!

Wow! My family and I loved sitting on the deck listening to the ocean, watching dolphins play and enjoying the sunset! Deck was very private and relaxing. We cooked most nights and had everything necessary. I can't wait to come back!

Views & sound of Ocean are amazing. Whether the unit itself is great or not, it doesn’t matter because it has a million dollar view of the Ocean. Sitting & looking out the windows all across the back is hypnotizing. I never wanted to leave the house, which is a shame because Cucayos is such a cute little town!!! Absolutely coming back...

The views from this place are absolutely stunning, and the location is within walking distance to shops, food, and drink. It was a perfect place to relax. No one stayed in the downstairs rental when we were there so it was great to get extra privacy. The fireplace was nice, cooking in the kitchen was comfortable, and we were able to wash clothes. We'd definitely like to come back to this place.

I’ve stayed in probably 15 different rentals in Cayucos over the years and none as stunning as this one. The house is built on somewhat of a promontory, so it sits over and above the water, with the most sweeping view from the whole front of the house and obviously the deck/balcony. Also, it’s close to town so you can walk in for lunch or to the little grocery store really quickly. We never saw any neighbors or the people downstairs. Super quiet at night and plenty of room. There were only two of us, but I wouldn’t hesitate to come back with friends, the kitchen and eating area and living room is plenty spacious. If you have a chance to stay here, book it immediately.

This place really is a dream come true if you are in to sunset views over the Pacific with crashing waves just a few yards away. The deck feels pretty private considering there are houses on both sides. Also, there were long term renters in the unit downstairs, but we hardly noticed they were there. This place would easily accommodate two couples. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, cookie sheets, cutting boards, really everything you will need. But, if you prefer to go out, there are plenty of places within walking distance. The house is spotless, clean. The only downside is that the furniture in the living room is not that comfortable. It's wicker and the cushions are not that thick. We found if we doubled up on the cushions it wasn't too bad, but there were only two of us. Other than that, this place is awesome! Can't wait to return!

The place is called “Oceanfront Dream” and that’s really what it is: California at its best. An endless view to the beach and the Pacific, breathtaking sunsets, close to shops and restaurants. The house is very spacious and furnished with loving attention to every detail. It didn’t feel like staying at a vacation home, it felt like visiting good friends. Staying at this place is reason enough to take a 12 hour flight from Germany to California.

Location, location, location! When you can walk out on your front deck in the morning and watch dolphins swimming by and waves crashing right in front of you, it’s pretty hard to beat. It’s a short walk to shops and restaurants. That said, if you want to cook it would be a good idea to bring your groceries. There is only a small convenience store in town! The property is well-maintained and clean. The living room area was a bit smaller than we expected and the seating was not terribly comfortable. Otherwise this is an amazing property and your eyes are constantly drawn to the windows all across the front. One very nice touch was the bathmats found in the hall closet. We put them over the chairs on the deck in the mornings and avoided wet backs and bottoms! There were also plenty of blankets to snuggle in. Check in was smooth. Communication was great!

This is an amazing spot in a great little town on the California coast. The check in process was easy, and the communication both clear and friendly. The key feature of this home is the view. You won't want to leave it, other than to walk on the beach. The home itself is very clean, and comfortable. We had a great time and watched seals and dolphins from the balcony.

We had a wonderful stay at this absolutely gorgeous upper floor apartment. Ocean front with stairs down to the beach just steps away. The spacious place offers a fully equipped kitchen, you can find anything here. Very clean and nice rooms. Bathrooms could use a make over but are clean and functional. Quiet neighborhood with a playground close, walking distance to the lovely town center and the drive to Morro Bay takes a few minutes. Vacasa offered great customer service for working out a booking issue with us. It was a very good experience.
