What an amazing experience we had at the wonderful home. Our first day there was calm and the ocean was gorgeous. We saw the most spectacular whale and dolphin show I have ever seen in my life. We saw whales breaching at least 100 times. I would definitely go back to this home. There was another group in the upstairs apartment, but we rarely heard them.

Lovely property, loved the views, sound of the ocean, enjoyed staying here for a family get together. Interior was charming, cozy. Parking was available on site for 2 vehicles, we had 3. Was able to park the 3rd car on a nearby side street, N 3rd, not sure how available that would be in summer months, but there were ample spaces in early May. We chatted with a resident who confirmed we could park there as long as not camping, sleeping, in the vehicle.

It was all about location location location—- loved loved being directly at ocean front with the view and sound of the waves!!! The apartment/condo decor was very clean and comfortable but dated! Walls and cabinets would definitely benefit from a fresh coat of paint, white sofa was very dated but still comfortable. We liked the small town “quiet” of Cayucos, easy drive to Morro Bay or Cambria if wanted more restaurants or shopping.

The view was so beautiful! It was great to be right on the ocean front. We even got to see otters. The location was great. We could easily walk to Cayucos shops and restaurants or jump in the car for exploring - so many options. The hosts were very responsive and helped us resolve an issue with the heater. Walls are thin (as other reviewers have mentioned), but we knew that going in (we brought a sound machine, which helped). We all had a great time and can’t wait to go back.

Loved the place. Location is unbeatable. We loved the grass lawn down below because it’s blocked from the wind and was perfect for the kids to run around. Walked many times to the beach and to town. Will be back again! Like previous comments, I can imagine that the noise from the upstairs unit could become a problem, but we had very considerate neighbors and had no issues.

Well we can't wait to come back. Didn't realize it's two units- identical Sleeps 6. Next time we will try to get upstairs one. The View is insane. Walking down the hall you feel like your on a cruise ship. The point the home sits on the tide comes in up to house about 11:00 am. It was exactly what we've been looking for. Thank you for all the upgrades, they are lovely. I did bring a larger TV to watch. Baseball playoffs. I brought extra towels, blankets, pillows- just like my stuff. So appreciative for this little hidden oasis. Thank you - we will be back???????????

Cozy beach home with amazing views. Enjoyed watching marine life, listening to waves and privacy. One thing to be aware of is unit 238a is ground level with a rental above. We were fortunate above was empty for most of our stay. When people are there and especially if they are wearing shoes it was louder than typical. Overall still an amazing place if you are looking for a relaxing coastal experience.

This place was ocean front and you cannot beat the view and the walk to the beach was a few houses away. There were three rooms for family of four. Kitchen was perfect for preparing meals or just a snack. We also used the barbecue a few times as we watched the tide. Definitely recommend this place.

If you want a peaceful and easy feeling in a small but quant town with nothing but friendly folks, the sweet Cayucos home is the spot. Unreal view from the deck, living room and dining room. Beds were average but cozy and amenities were older but clean and comfortable. The fireplace was a great plus during cool weather. I highly recommend this great stay for relaxation and views, quiet, private and peaceful.

This is a lovely, well appointed home. The rooms are small and cute and the living area is a bit tight, but also very well arranged. We have a child with Cerebral Palsy, so the narrow space between furniture was cumbersome at first. We moved some things around to make it work for us. One of the twin mattresses in the back room was wildly uncomfortable. Not sure what was up with it. It felt like a blow up mattress. But otherwise the beds were quite comfy. Ample pillows and blankets. The view is gorgeous and proximity to main street was perfect. We walked everywhere we went. The kitchen is large and he dining table accommodated our family and wheelchair! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We loved our time here and would recommend to a friend.

The location is incredible. The space was clean and had plenty of room for me, my girls and my mom. The kitchen is well stocked and the house is very close to the local grocery store. While the house is ON the bluff overlooking the ocean, the closest beach access is only 3 houses down (or up) from the apartment. At low tide, we found some lovely tide pools right in front of the house. It was a magical week and I’m so glad we were able to stay in this apartment. As other renters have noted, there is NO sound proofing between the 2 units. We had issues with the TV that were fixed eventually. But other than that, great location!!!

An amazing spot! The location could not have been better. Beautiful quick walk along the beach to downtown (as long as the tide was low ??) or on the road, but felt very private at the same time. Waking up to that amazing view was pretty incredible. As others have mentioned the upstairs neighbors do sound like a heard of elephants but once you accept that it really was no big deal. Definitely “well loved”furniture ect, but it just added to the laid back beach vibe. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic location. The view was amazing. We were 6 adults and plenty of room. Nice dining room table to share meals. While the location was everything, the carpet was dirty and this place needs new sofas. Also needs a new frying pan and coffee pot didn’t work! We loved cooking in the kitchen. Also the upstairs’ renters were very noisy and inconsiderate. I think they had a party 2 nights in a row! But with all said, we would definitely come back. We love Cayucos.

My family of 5 had a wonderful time during our stay! Cayucos is such a sweet, sleepy beach town. The views from this property are amazing! Waking up to the ocean and falling asleep to crashing waves cannot be beat! This is the lower floor of a 2 unit house. It’s great for kids. The patio has steps down to a little lawn area. The back yard is all gated, so my little one could run around and play. The property is up in a bluff, so you can’t walk right out to the beach. But there is a walkway down just 3 houses either direction. Very convenient. We had upstairs neighbors for 2 nights. Definitely can hear even words being said and walking. It was 4 adults who were not overly loud at all, just poor insulation. It really didn’t bother us, but I was VERY glad it was not us on the top level, our 3 kids would have sounded like a herd of elephants I am sure. PSA-if you have kids make sure to rent this bottom floor! The house had everything we needed to cook meals. Just bring food! We walked to dinner each night at a different restaurant. There is also a little market right up the road about a 3 minute walk away by the park. My older boys enjoyed riding bikes around town and visiting the candy shop! The location was perfect for quick walks downtown. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and look forward to visiting again soon!

The location couldn't be better of this home, right on the water and a block from the cute town of Cayucos. It was the perfect spot for our families to hang out for the weekend - we fit two families of three comfortably. The lawn facing the ocean was the perfect spot to lounge away the afternoon with snacks, wine and the cool ocean breeze. I'd recommend this rental to anyone and we plan to go back again next year.

This property is all about the location and the view! During our four day stay we saw countless dolphins, seals and sea otters from the deck and experienced a beautiful sunset every evening. The house is within walking distance of the grocery store, restaurants, shops and bars and a short drive from Morro Bay - a charming town with a lovely population of sea otters. The house itself was comfortable, warm, well-equipped and quiet (although the unit above was unoccupied during our stay). We had a fabulous time at this property and were very sad to leave.

We had a great stay at this house in Cayucos. It was very comfortable for our family of five with enough space to hang out inside or out on the deck and grass. Although we didn’t end up cooking very much, the kitchen was stocked with everything you might need including a coffee maker and toaster. It was also very centrally located for going to other nearby sights (I.e. Hearst castle, Pismo Beach). The view was fantastic. We didn’t want to leave.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Cayucos! The views from this property are incredible! It was an easy walk to the cute downtown, to the pier and to the beach! About a 30 min drive to all the wonderful wineries of Paso Robles. Also about a 30 minute drive to Pismo Beach where we rented ATVs and had a blast on the sand dunes! Overall wonderful stay. We would love to return again soon!

The property was well taken care of for an older property. The view was breathtaking. Could see the ocean from the the huge picture windows in front. There was what seemed to be an endless supply of hot water. The kitchen was very well equipped. Truly enjoy our stay and would definitely recommend this property. The only negative I could say would be the kitchen chairs could use replacing.

Breathtaking views while listening to the crashing waves. Picturesque relaxing on the porch. Huge windows allow you to get swept up in the views of the ocean and wildlife that come with it. Quiet neighborhood which was very walkable. Beach access is close by. Kitchen was well equipped and beds were comfortable.

Gorgeous Beachside Getaway

Just pulling up into the driveway, you feel welcomed. The garden is beautifully maintained and ushers you in to a beautiful get away. I could have spent my whole weekend simply sitting on the porch, staring at the water, or curled up in front of the fireplace at night. The owners leave firewood in the garage, which is a huge bonus. We enjoyed the fireplace every night after the sun went down. This house is a perfect distance from downtown. When the tide is out, you can walk along the beach to the restaurants, and come back via the road when the tide is in. House, kitchen and garden are all beautifully maintained. I look forward to staying here again.

Beautiful, comfortable, cozy, but lots of room for the two of us. Incredible views, close to Cambria, Hearst Castle, Montana de Oro State Park and Morro Bay. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would have liked to stay longer. We will return. The only thing we found disappointing was that the gas logs in the fireplace were missing and we couldn't enjoy the fantasy of the leaping flames with an ocean view. Would also recommend that the hot water temp from the heater be adjusted down a bit as it very quickly becomes scalding. Nevertheless having water that warms up quickly (in a rental) is a true joy. Thank you, thank you, for sharing such a beautiful place with us!

My friends and I had a lovely time at this house! It was a perfect view of the ocean, and the right amount of space for 3 friends to spread out or great for families, as well. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple of meals at home. And it's walking distance from several other restaurants, shops, spas, etc. The biggest down side to this place was the noise coming from upstairs. Hard to avoid when there are hardwood floors. Still, so lovely.

This is a lovely home, centrally located, in a quiet neighborhood. The situation of the house is incredible, with views of Morro Rock in the distance and the waves and beach a stone's throw from the porch. The kitchen is well laid out and equiped. We didn't even want to go out to eat! No restaurant could compete with that view. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable. The only disappointment was the inabiliry to use the gas fireplace. Hopefully that will be addressed by Vacasa. Stay at this house. It is worth s month of therapy!

We have stayed at this outstanding property three times in the past four years and I can tell you that it never gets old. The view from the decks, both upstairs and downstairs (we rent both at the same time due to a large family), is unsurpassed anywhere in Cayucos, as this great property sits up on a bluff overlooking the ocean. In my humble opinion, the best time of the year to come is in the Fall, when the weather is still warm and the sun sets into the ocean, as opposed to the summer, when the sun sets a little further north and over the land. Always one of the highlights of our stays is watching the whales, dolphins, sea lions and otters come swimming or floating by. Bring your binoculars. If you want to shop for your entire stay, there are no major chain grocery stores in town, but they are close by. The restaurants and businesses in town are great if you don't want to cook. The property was clean and tidy upon arrival, inside and outside. The beds are comfortable. The front bedroom is the real star here. It has accordion doors and an ocean view that is fantastic! The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils for just about anything you'd like to cook. The grill is clean and full of gas. The big refrigerator should hold everything you need for a week's stay. Bring some lawn games with you as there is a small lawn just below the decks. Bring games like "cornhole" or the non-dangerous kind of lawn darts. The neighbors are very nice and very quiet. All in all, a great place...

Visited this weekend for a getaway with friends. The ocean view from both the balcony and from the large windows along the living room / dining room area is perfect for watching the changes in the ocean, beautiful sunset and the wildlife......otters, various kinds of birds, butterflies....The weather was perfect, but this would be a perfect spot no matter what the weather is like! We just happened to arrive for the weekend of the sea glass festival, so that was fun too. I will definitely be back if available for future visits. Looks like this one is booked up pretty far in advance. Worth planning ahead!

• 30–59 Days Before Arrival: Refund of all charges except the booking fee.
• 8–29 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of all charges except the booking fee. Booking fee not refunded. 
• 7 Days or Less Before Arrival: No refund.

Long-Term Stays (29 nights or longer):

• 6+ Months Before Arrival: 100% refund.
• 91 Days–6 Months Before Arrival: Refund of all charges except the booking fee.
• 60–91 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of rent and other fees refunded. Booking fee not refunded. 
• 60 Days or Less Before Arrival: No refund of rent or booking fee; other fees refunded.
