All in all a good stay for a week-long visit. The location is wonderful and easily walkable to all of downtown Cayucos and the beach. The main bed was quite comfortable and everything was well stocked. The house is a bit dated and and feels very 1970's, but has updates decor. It's roomy and very serviceable.

This was my first time visiting the beautiful town of Cayucos even though I was raised on the central coast. The location of this property was perfect. It was about1 block away from the beach and close to the shops, pier , play ground and restaurants! The house was set up nicely and had everythng you needed. We were able to explore Morrow Bay as well. Spent time in San Luis Obispo and Avila Beach!! The host was very responsive with any questions me had. 5 star review!

A slice of serenity by the sea— Our Mother’s Day weekend was pure poetry. Nestled in the heart of downtown Cayucos, This home was a dream—clean, cozy, and spacious. Just steps from shops and morning coffee, And under five minutes to the beach—it felt so easy, so lovely. We strolled with bare feet on golden sand, Then returned to comfort, remote in hand. The TVs were ready with every delight— Netflix, YouTube, Peacock lit up the night. I even caught WWE’s Backlash live, With John Cena making the crowd come alive. The amenities were thoughtful, the vibe just right, A peaceful place to end each night. Thank you for hosting us with such care

This is one of the best places I booked on Airbnb. The home was so spacious amd well ventilated. I loved the dvd collection, book collection and games racked up in the master bedroom. Overall, I am very much satisfied with the place amd will definitely book it again when I visit this area

This spacious condo was perfect for a family beach getaway. Very clean, extremely well equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture. Two car garage was a plus. Location was short walk to great restaurants, shops, beach access and the pier. We’re repeat guests, and look forward to future visits.

I enjoyed my stay in Cayucos. The home had a decent layout with plenty of room and nice furnishings. The location is excellent for walk ability to local shops and restaurants and the beach is less than 3 minutes walking distance. When outside on the patio you can hear the ocean and see a small section of it, but this isn't the place to go for the views. Overall, the trip was great and I loved the protected garage parking.

Its' a good place to stay. Well prepared for the guests. Walkable distance to the beach. Very good sound insulation - there is no ocean noise when the sliding door is closed. Would be great to have faster internet access and ability to use fireplace.

We had the best week staying at the Golden Sands. Easy walk to restaurants, shopping and pier. Just a 2-3 minute walk and you are on the sand. Plenty of space for our family of 6. Loved opening up the slider and listening to the waves crashing. Hope to visit again.

My family and I went there to spend Christmas and it was lovely! The kitchen is fully stocked to feel right at home and cook as your heart desires. The house is also super clean and the host was very communicative and solved our last minute request for additional towels and extra bed. Please note, that in the big closet there are two twin foldable beds— which is great when you go there with lots of family members and you are looking for a cozy stay. The town is also super cute and central to grocery stores. Totally worth it!!!! … and this review comes from someone that is also a super host and extremely picky!

Golden Sands was a perfect place for our family. Close to the beach, pier, downtown, restaurants and Brown Butter Cookie. Everything we needed was provided. Clean and comfy. We enjoyed ourselves immensly.

This is a wonderful property for a multigenerational vacation. Main suite upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs make it easy to put the little ones to bed and still enjoy the evening. The proximity to the beach is great. An easy 5 minute walk and you are at a beautiful beach. Down just a bit further is an amazing pier and beach playground. Also, this condominium is very close to great little coffee shops, restaurants and antique shops. We had a wonderful time and hope to return again next year. It is about an easy 35 minute drive from San Luis Obispo airport. Thanks!!

This is a great beach house. Our family of five stayed for four nights and loved the home. The location is ideal and is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and store. I would definitely stay here again. Only suggestion would be that it’s probably time for a new couch/sofa in the living room.

This condo is half a block to the beach entrance and close to the pier and restaurants. The bathrooms and kitchen are dated but very clean. The bedrooms and living/dining area are modern and very comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms was a plus with teenagers.

This is our third time staying at this property and nothing can beat the location. We love it since it is steps to the beach, a quick walk to the Paul Andrew park, and centrally located for the restaurant’s off the main street which is great for families with younger children. We have noticed during our multiple stays that they are making upgrades to the interior. Overall, this location is great and meets our needs.

This place was great. Exactly as described. 2 minute walk to the sandy beach. A nice surprise to see lots of beach toys, chairs and boogie boards to use in the garage. There are also lot's of books, games and DVD's as well. The place was clean, quite and very close to everything in Cayucos. My family and I were very happy staying here.

This is the second time I’ve rented this property. It’s so close to town and the accommodations are perfect for us. This year the water heater broke and the management company was able to replace it in the same day. I was very impressed! The only drawback was the back porch light had been disconnected and was lying on the ground. Overall we love staying there and I’m already planning on booking again next year!

Very close to the beach and affordable. Would have been nice to know that there was a scaffolding partially covering the view though. This will be gone when the tiled roof is done. The fridge badly needs to be updated. Did not make ice and made horrid sounds about every 15 min or so. With a couple of negatives out of the way, this place really was cool and very great to stay in! I will definitely try and book this gem again! Thanks!

The condo we had in Cayucos was in the best location!! Just steps away from the beach and the town of Cayucos. Restaurants, stores, antique stores just right there. The pier and beach just a few minutes walking distance. The condo was very nice and roomy with a nice balcony. We had a great time.

Cute two story home. There was a decent number of beach supplies in the garage (chairs, noodles, towels, umbrella, coolers, boogie boards, etc), and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of pots, pans, coffee machine, forks, knives, and all the stuff you might need to make some meals. Location is a short walk to the beach, and you can see the ocean from the balcony. You can also hear the sound of the waves if it's nice enough out to leave the sliding door open. Our only complaint is the bed was *really* stiff; it reminded me of what I used to have in my dorm room.

We loved this place! It is extremely well stocked in all areas, particularly in the kitchen. Our family loves to cook when we get together, and we found all kinds of kitchen supplies and it made our stay extremely pleasant and enjoyable. In addition, the beds are comfortable. For entertainment, we had access to the smart TV, stereo w/ bluetooth speakers to play our desired music and many board game options. The location is great, the house was clean and check in was super simple. Would stay here again in heartbeat!

What a great place for a family gathering! We really loved the well stocked kitchen and great location. The beach is RIGHT THERE (plus the candy store and coffee shop), and Morro Bay and Cambria are just a quick jaunt. The beds are comfy and we enjoyed seeing the ocean from the deck. Check in and out was a breeze.

The online description is accurate. Just two blocks to the downtown area, pier, and beach. It is an older condo, but it was spotless, and the kitchen is well equipped. However we did no cooking due to all the great restaurants both in Cayucos and Morro Bay. Two very comfortable beach chairs, two small ones, so perhaps they need to add a few more. Lots of linens and three beach towels. No cleaning supplies, so we bought some as we stayed two weeks and wanted to clean the bathrooms. Highly recommend and we plan on returning.

We loved being two blocks from the beach and 2 short blocks to the downtown area. Even though the condo is located on Ocean Blvd it is very quiet. It was spotlessly clean. We would have liked some cleaning supplies as we were there two weeks, we purchased some anti-bacteria wipes. There are a handful of good restuarants within walking distance. There were two very nice beach chairs and two small ones. Plenty of linens and beach towels. The pictures and description are accurate. We would have liked an extra house key, only one is provided. We could not get the electric fireplace to work, which was not an issue, we would have only used it one night.

Well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds and a quiet location, 1/4 block to beach. The larger couch and one big black chair need replacing, you sink in and keep going....hard to get out of and hurts your back. Overall, we had a fine time and would rent it again.

This gem was super convenient - about a block from the beach, a quick walk to all of the stores and restaurants downtown, and a garage to store all of the sandy flip flops and beach toys. Although a bit dated, it was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked with all items we needed for the week.

Great house in a truly great location! It’s a block from the beach and right on the main road so it's close to the downtown area. Had everything we needed. There were 8 people in our group and there was plenty of space for everyone. And it was really nice to have 2 bathrooms. I highly recommend this place. Great value!

It really was a nice location. A hop skip and a jump to the beach. The little town is so cute and you are very close to Morro Bay for a bigger outing. The condo had everything you could need. The bath towels were great too. Loved that it was two levels with 2 bedrooms and a bath downstairs. Great setup for several families to rent we enjoyed our stay very much

This is a great deal price-wise and location-wise. The stairs are many. So if you are bringing people who can't do stairs, be aware. There is plenty, plenty of room for together-time and separation time. My teenage and her girlfriend loved having the whole bottom floor to themselves. Made them feel like they had their own apartment. There is about a 10 % view of the ocean, but 100% sounds of the crashing waves. Things to bring: Ziploc bags, extra trash bags, blow dryer There were plenty of heaters and fans for each individual room, but your own personal pillows and blankets made it more homie. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK THIS SUMMER??
