Great location, beautiful views of the ocean, short drive to the beach. The house was perfect for our group, very clean and well furnished, great kitchen, the beach toys were a big hit with the kids. We all had a great time!

This property was clean and large. The Vrbo description says 4 bedrooms but it actually has 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The kitchen is well-stocked, the view of the ocean is amazing. Our family of 10 had a great time here.

The Blue Door Retreat was perfect to meet up with friends who we hadn’t see in a while. There was enough room to spread out and the dinning table seated 12 comfortably —either for cards or fun dinners. The 5 bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. This place is a fantastic one to go to with a large group of friends if you’re looking to have a relaxing weekend and enjoy the beach. 20 minutes from town, so easily accessible if you want to go out and about! The view was spectacular!!

Very spacious home with 5 bedrooms, perfect for a group of friends or extended family. Close drive to several beaches and about midway between Moro Bay & Cayucos.everything there for a beach vacation. The only negative is the noise from HWY 1 when the sliding door is open to the front deck. Fabulous view of the ocean. Can’t wait to do it again!

This vacation home was perfect for our 4 Heneration Family Vacation Getaway! Plenty of room, fully stocked kitchen utensils, comfy beds & bedding & biggest surprise was a cooler, fishing rods, beach chairs, surf & boogie boards provided. This home was in walking distance to the beach too! We loved it & will definitely book again! Thank you to the owners for providing such a wonderful space.

We had a nice stay in this home. Plenty of room, and everything worked just fine. I was a little bit bummed by the early check out, 10am, and I wish there was some way they could have accommodated my request for a late checkout. But overall, a very nice place that I will definitely consider again.

This home is very spacious with better than average sized bedrooms, and three bathrooms. Close enough to beach and enjoyable neighborhood walks! The only thing that needs improvement is the lighting for evenings. Other than that this was a great home for our large group and my 60th birthday get-away! Would highly recommend and will definitely consider in the future!

I've stayed at this house before and love how much space it has available for a large extended family! We were all able to lounge upstairs, together, whether it was on the balcony, watching a movie, or working on a puzzle but had comfortable bedrooms (with TVs) to escape to as well. The view is great with a beautiful sunset every night and we even got to watch dolphins and whales go by.

What a beautiful place to stay with family. The only problem was we ran out of hot water upstairs. In the welcome book it tells you that might happen and what to do. We had plenty of rooms for our family to stay to celebrate my daughter's wedding in Pismo Beach. We loved the views of the ocean! Cayucos is such a cute town to explore! Thank you so much.

Rooms are spacious, kitchen is nice. Love all the little goodies with the boogie boards, beach chairs, kids sand toys and surf boards. Very convenient with the garage access to all of those items listed.

I love this place, been visiting for years. This large property is perfect for a few families looking to get away to nice midsized beach town. Plenty of common and private areas, with a large kids dorm room downstairs. I feel like everything just slows down and the family has time to be together. I will be back soon.

The photo can't show how much beautiful the oceanview is. Whenever I turn around from the stairs, I feel so happy and blessed to be there. There are puzzles and board games, so our family had a lot of fun with them. The location is very convenient to go to shops, the beach, etc. You can see the rock from the main street near the place. There were 5 full/queen beds and 1 bunk bed, so it's very spacious for up to 12 people comfortably. I highly recommend for family getaways!:D

We spent a month in this beautiful oceanfront home, and couldn't have asked for a better escape from SF. There were 6 adults living and working in the house, and we never felt crowded at all. The house is a 5 min walk from the water, and a 2 min walk from a great trail that goes straight up a mountain. Downtown Cayucos is tiny and charming. If you're into surfing, this has some of the best waves we've encountered in CA. The outdoor grill is a great touch -- we were able to grill on the patio with a gorgeous california sunset every night. The moment you step into the home, you are treated with the view of the ocean, it's something that never gets old. When we first arrived we had a few concerns about WiFi speed (we all work in tech and started having bandwidth issues). However, the host was extremely responsive and upgraded the internet package while we were there! The wifi was incredibly fast for the rest of the trip. Would recommend a thousand times over if you are looking for a place to escape to!!

Increíble location. Nice view all day and the moon glows on the waves at night. Hearing the crashing waves while our family is at the dinner table playing cards and drinking wine was super memorable. Trails and scenic routes GALORE in town. Convenient markets and all you need to make your stay a perfect one. Beds are comfortable enough, and the place is very clean and roomy! We were 4 and it was way more space than we needed. 3 bathrooms was incredibly convenient. I would highly recommend!

Such a lovely view of the ocean from inside with so many windows across the back. The living area was perfect for our family of adult kids and friends to cook, play games, visit and see the ocean. There were also plenty of spacious rooms and privacy for everyone with comfortable beds. Bathrooms were clean with plenty of towels and kitchen had all the supplies we needed. It was a great week together! Thank you for sharing your lovely beach home.

I can't say enough how much I loved this house. It was great for 2 families with multiple kids. Enough space so you are not right on top of each other. Great view from porch close to beach access. The kitchen was nicely stocked with lots of pots, pans, and everything else needed. Had a good stock of spices as well. It is really a 3 bathroom which was a nice surprise. Vacasa staff did an amazing job. So clean and everything worked. Loved our vacation.

We spent Easter weekend here with our good friends and had a wonderful time. There are actually 5 bedrooms, tons of living space, a beautiful view and close to Cayucos and Morrow bay. It is at the end of town and you can hear some fwy noise but at night when you want to hear the waves you can. We would definitely rent again!

Everyone loved the house and the location! Getting 8 people to agree on anything is tough, however, we all agreed that it was a great vacation experience- Hearst, wine tasting, the beaches, Cayucos and Morro Bay- top marks! VRBO is a great concept.

The house did NOT disappoint! In fact it was better then we expected, the bedrooms were big, 3 full bathrooms and lots of common space for everyone! We changed it up this year and had Christmas away from home & this house played a huge role in that success! The views of the ocean were amazing! When the BBQ wouldn’t light & an entire BRAND NEE BBQ showed up within an hour of contacting the service for help!! I would recommend this house to anyone!!!

This house is better than advertised! It is beautifully furnished, and right next to the beach, with beautiful ocean views. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for a few night stay. Check in was very easy and convenient, and Vacasa was very responsive and helpful whenever we contacted them. This place is a great deal, and highly recommended.

We loved the house. Firstly we were surprised that the house had 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. It’s advertised with 4 and 2. The house was clean and had more than enough room for our family. The beds were comfortable with tv’s in each room and they have beach chairs and toys in the garage. The view on the back patio was awesome. We sat with our binoculars and could see whale spouts going up and down. We love the area it truly heaven on earth.

We had a wonderful time! There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, fun "toys" to borrow in the garage and the kitchen has everything I needed to cook meals all week. We had a slight hiccup when we arrived, but the Vacasa team was on it. Very friendly and responded quickly.

Our two families had a great time staying at this charming house. The ocean view was spectacular. It was well supplied with linens, towels, cooking utensils, board games, binocular, surf boards, wet suits, etc. There was plenty of room for all 10 guests with two babies. All of the appliances works great. The house was cleaned upon our arrival. We spent most of our time in the living room and dining room, which had a great ocean view. We were all sad to leave after 1 week. One of the children was so sad and cried on the last day because she didn't want to leave the house.

Our two families loved this charming house. It had plenty room for both of our families. Both adults and children really enjoyed our stay there. It has board games, binocular, surf boards, wet suits, etc. All the appliances worked great. The house was clean upon our arrival, and well stocked with towels & linen. Parking was great for three of our vehicles. From the house we ventured north and south along the coast. But most of all we fell in love with Cayucos. It has a sweet and charming little town feel to it. On the last day, one of the children cried because she didn't want to leave. We loved it so much that we booked it for two weeks next year. We'll be back!!

This was the perfect house for our three families to come together and spend the week. Plenty of rooms and space for the kiddos to play. Right on the edge of town so it made for a quick trip into Morro Bay. Just about a 5 minute drive into the little downtown of Cayucos. The view was spectacular- even got to see dolphins swimming! This a roomy, well equipped house with a great view of the sunset! Our party of 8 was very comfortable and 12 would have fit just fine. Although you can cross Highway 1 to the beach, you do need a car to get to Cayucos. There is ample parking for two cars. Linens, blankets and sheets are plentiful and there are some fun puzzles and games in the living room! The kitchen, dining and living areas are perfect for family time, games, watching the sunset and enjoying each other's company.

We stayed in this house in late September. There are full 180 degree views from the balcony. We could see dolphins and whales from the balcony. Fantastic home and great value for the price.
