We had a fabulous time in Carpinteria. We enjoyed the beautiful beach, the pool at Solimar Sands, the gated parking and the comfortable condo. Everything was perfect.

Being right across the street from the beach is always so convenient! Loved the views from the balcony and master bedroom. Pool access was also a great bonus for our stay. We had a great stay! Definitely would love to come back again.

The home is perfectly located close to downtown (7 min walk), a block from the beach, and the salt marsh reserve (good walking trails). The home itself is an older condo, but clearly remondeled and taken care of. No ac, but if you run the ceiling fans and have the windows open it cools nicely. I noticed additional fans in closets for hotter months (my stay was in october), but i didn’t need them. The balcony does not have a beach view, but over looks the parking lot, and other apartments. Not a deal breaker because if you wan the beach, it’s right outside the front of the complex. I stayed alone as i was there for a wedding, but there is a second bedroom with bunk beds, so a family or small group could make it work. A pool and hot tub open 10a to 10p, as well as on site laundry (coin operated, or you can pay with an app). One of the nicest things is that the complex is a quiet community. I really didn’t hear much of any noise after quiet hours (10pm), which made for a very peaceful stay. Don’t come here expecting to party, go downtown for that haha. All together a fun little sleepy beach town. I will be visiting again.Also the bed was very comfy!

I absolutely loved the location. Beach, park, market, and restaurant were walking distance. We didn’t have to move the car once we parked. Only thing was the train was very close to the condo and it was the first thing that would wake us up at 7am and you would hear it every hour. But the location definitely made up for it. We’ll definitely be back.

I loved that I could just walk out of the property and there is a beautiful beach and a nature trail. Furthermore, it’s 15 min away from the Montecito Hotsprings and 20 min from Santa Barbara. Lastly, it’s walking distance to delicious restaurants, bars and breweries. I loved it.

The condo was clean and comfortable. The pools and hot tub are a nice addition. Hot tub use is now for everyone over age 6 and above. The only thing I would be aware of is you can hear noise from the first floor of the unit on the second floor quite easily, but we made do. Overall, a very nice stay and we'd be happy to return.

Everything was very comfortable and beautiful. The apartment had games, puzzles, beach toys/chairs/umbrella/insulated bag/cooler, a laundry basket, a well-stocked kitchen. It’s less than a block to the beach, and even in July, it was very comfortable, and even cool with the windows open (although there were sometimes unwanted odors from people smoking somewhere in another apartment nearby). The drying rack came in handy, and we used the grill on the patio several times. We loved Carpinteria and we loved this location. Two bedrooms and two baths were so convenient for our family.

We had a very comfortable stay over 4th of July weekend. We were 2 adults and 3 kids ages 10 and under. The second bedroom has a bunk bed that actually provides 3 beds - a double bed bottom with a twin top bunk and a twin trundle pull out under the double. The condo is well stocked with beach equipment (photo attached). It’s an easy walk across the street to the sandy beach.

My family and I took a birthday vacation trip to Santa Barbara for my daughter. We stumble upon Carpenteria, with the condo, being i kept searching for a larger place to stay at a reasonable price. The location was perfect, it next to the beach, the small town with the strip of shopping and eateries and breweries, was not expected. The drive to SB, was not too bad, just a mere 20 min drive, we were able to spend the day out at SB and comfortably drive back to our place of stay. Vacasa was fast with responses, when needing to communicate. Thank you.

Overall it was a great place, right across the street from the beach and walking distance to downtown. The beds were comfortable and it was a family friendly place overall. One disappointment was there were no dish towels in the house and they only supplied one small roll of paper towels (without a dish towel those went quick). Considering how well stocked everything else was, I imagine that was an over sight of the cleaning crew, I will give the benefit of the doubt! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would come back.

Nothing beats the beach accessibility and it’s literally just across the street. The pool and spa are welcome amenities. Close by, the trails are excellent and downtown carpinteria has plenty of food to enjoy!

We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect and we were able to walk to the beach daily. The unit owner supplied boogie boards, sand chairs, and umbrellas. Our only two suggestions would be that the management company should provide more paper towels, napkins, and garbage bags and it would have been nice to have something to get the tar off our feet (walking on the beach leaves tar on feet). The interior stairs were a bit of a concern since we had two small children with us. Everything considered, it was a great vacation. Lots of nice restaurants close by the condo and only a short drive/bike ride to Santa Barbara.

The unit was immaculate and the kitchen and bathrooms were very updated. The kitchen was well equipped and the grill worked well. The complex is just steps from the beach. The king bed ( we only used one room) has a very soft pillow top which wasn’t great for us but others may enjoy that feeling of sinking into the bed. Definitely bring flip flops; the beach has tar deposits.

Great location! Super close to the beach and to a super cute little town. Would definitely do again!! Linens we’re tucked Into each bathroom drawer so if you can’t find towels, look there next Master bedroom very comfortable, although there was a loud bird that woke us around 445a so close your windows before heading to sleep!

We have been visiting Carpinteria for many years, and really appreciated the location of this rental. We loved how everything needed for a relaxing few days at the beach was provided, from beach chairs to towels. This unit was especially clean and recently updated, making it comfortable for relaxing in with our adult children in the evenings. Everything was thought of, from a drying rack on the balcony for wet swimsuits and damp towels, to a table perfectly sized for games. King bed was very comfortable.

The property matched the description. It fit our family of 5 very well. The king bed was so comfortable and I loved waking up looking at the mountains. We walked to the main strip multiple times per day to eat, visit family, and get groceries. Beach access is so close to the front gate of the property. It’s a wonderful beach. I would highly recommend this place. We had a few communication issues, but I think it might’ve been due to my email address not being correct.

A Beautiful place inside & out! Updated and Contemporary. Great pool and pretty landscaping too. Comfortable beds, plenty of room and very clean. Fully stocked with every thing we needed and more, including things that were not listed (Had 2 blow dryers, an iron and even a pack-n-play). Beach toys and beach towels were a plus. Coming from Florida, we were concerned about no AC but we visited in March and it was cool enough that we didn’t need it, had a lot of fans. Great location right across from the Beach with Mountains views from our windows. Close to restaurants, cute shops and a grocery store. When messaging Host with questions, they responded back quickly. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back if in this area again! Thank you so much for a Wonderful stay!!

We stayed five nights in this nice apartment and had a great time. The kitchen was well-equipped, the seating era was spacious and comfortable, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were nice. It was very quiet. Though we did not use it, the pools looked nice. Great location, short walk to the beach, downtown, and the salt marsh trail. A place to return:-)

Amazing place with an absolute killer location! Great neighborhood, cross the street to a huge park one way or to the most beautiful beach the other way! Super charming condo. Great for a family. Full kitchen (of which we made good use of). Was there with my 2 boys and we had a great time. Oh, and apologies if you find Lego pieces under the sofa ?? lol

We VRBO a couple times a year in Carpinteria and this place was great. Very close to the beach and the house was clean and had a great beach feel. One thing I don’t remember mentioned in the description but this place has access to the pool and hot tub which we used a lot! They have two small pools (one that was colder and more refreshing and one that was more heated) we had overcast mornings when we stayed so it was great to have the pools and hot tub while we waited for the sun to come out. We recommend this unit.

We loved our time at this VRBO in Carpenteria! The location is perfect. It's a quick and easy walk to the beach (less than 2 min), adjacent to the main drag off Linden, easy to get to Santa Barbara and Montecito, and the best feel of a town ever. We will be back!

This is our second time staying at this property during our stay in Carpinteria. The place is clean and in a great location to the beach and restaurants. They have beach chairs, an umbrella, and boogie boards. They kitchen also has a lot of equipment for those that like to cook during their stay. Overall, we had a great time, and will plan to stay here again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay and the location was great. No issues other than the pool being out of commission due to construction (was not made aware till 24 hours before checking in). The condo had everything we needed and then some. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this condo to friends and family. I was worried about the condo not having AC, but with the windows open and fans on, the room’s stayed cool. We were surprised by the extra amenities; ps3 with games, beach chairs, and sand toys for the kids to enjoy. Only suggestion I would make is having a Keurig coffee machine and pods.

The rental was awesome! Perfect distance to the beach and a short walk to downtown. It was stocked with everything we needed from kitchen appliances, to beach equipment, to towels and toiletries. My husband and I both worked remotely from there for the week and the internet worked great. The proximity to the beach was the best part. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We loved having the heated pool and hot tub available. We had plenty of towels and shampoo, etc. Kitchen was well stocked and we got a new coffee pot while there! An added bonus was the closet full of boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers. Board games and kids books made it family friendly. The complex was very quiet during our stay. Water pressure was adequate. We had cable and the TV was ready to stream. The small downsides were that the patio space was small and faced the parking lot and the beds were a bit hard. Pillows could use refreshing. Those items would not keep me from renting again! We loved this simple, quiet little town! It would be great to have a journal in the unit with vacationers' recommendations for restaurants, activities, etc. We also never got a parking permit because a manager was not available on the property, but street parking was adequate and readily available. We had a GREAT experience!!!!

Great for a family of 4 adults and young adults doing remote work and school. The beach is gorgeous and walkable. We drove to SB for hiking in the mountains and more incredible walking beaches. Very clean and modern. Great kitchen for cooking. Master bed very comfortable. Wifi strong. Water pressure too weak in upstairs bath but fair in downstairs bath. Heat was broken when we arrived but Turnkey fixed it the next day. Did not use pool or hot tub. I would definitely return.

I stayed here with my partner for 2 weeks. This cute condo, was great and functional with two full bathrooms, a large kitchen with plenty of storage, decent tv and sound system. I also enjoyed super convenient access to the beach across the street, and great short works to downtown and other restaurants. Cons: - The cleaning was overall fine. There's still quite a bit of pesky water stains, and hair left over from the previous residents. - The WIFI connection is quite spotty, and often slow when available. It shares a wifi network connection off of dsl with the unit next door, where the router is. We came here to work, but it was usually difficult to stream video meetings and watch our conferences. I ended up paying for a "Cox wifi" hotspot which also appeared in the network list, but that was also unreliably unavailable. Lesson learned, when on vacation, don't bring your work!
