We are excited to announce Southwest Airlines has daily direct flights from Sacrament to Santa Barbara starting June 5th, 2022. You can Uber from the airport to Carpinteria. Our family of 4 stayed here and it was wonderful. Our son was able to wake up and walk right to the beach. Cute downtown shops and eateries also very close/walkable. Also, when the coffee machine malfunctioned, we were promptly brought a replacement. We all had a great stay!

Wonderful location by Carp beach and State Park. Easy access to Amtrak so did not need to rent a car. Carpenteria is a beautiful little beach town and very walkable. Many great restaurants close by. We hope to return again.

This condo was lovely--clean, comfortable, and great location next to the beach. It was convenient to town too. The front door lock didn't work (at least not well), and the management company did not follow up once we reported it. The onsite property manager told us to just leave the door unlocked when we left (she also had trouble with the lock). Thankfully, the town is safe, so we weren't too worried. But, that was a little frustrating. Other than that, the stay was great. We came to California to walk the beach, and this condo was ideally situated for that. The decorations (with beach and water scenes) made it feel like a perfect vacation spot. I would definitely return.

This place was PERFECT! Just what i was looking for for my mother, MIL and SIL. Its location is unreal- so beautiful and you are steps away from the beach. The view is amazing and the home is cozy. Host was really accommodating and easy to reach. My purse was stolen our second day on the trip and we had so much to figure out and no way to move our car since my keys were in the purse. Spencer was very gracious in allowing a late checkout so we had extra time to get that all taken care of. I would come back and stay at this place in a heart beat, if i wasn't so traumatized by the theft. I hope one day i can visit Carpinteria again and stay in this condo.

The location is fantastic! Right by the beach and a short walk from the town. We left the car parked most days! The place had every thing we needed and lots of little touches that we didn’t expect. Beds were comfy, the kitchen well stocked and there was even beach gear to borrow. The views from the balcony were beautiful, we spotted dolphins, seals and whales. It’s a great space for a family. We would love to go back!

  • All rentals require state and county tax plus additional required fees
  • Damage waiver covers renter for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property.
  • If the house you are renting has a pool, the pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival.

Booking & Cancellation Policies

All reservations require a valid photo ID and a signed rental contract.

Short-Term Stays (28 nights or less):

• 100% Refund: Cancel within 48 hours of booking.
• 60+ Days Before Arrival: 100% refund of all charges.
• 30–59 Days Before Arrival: Refund of all charges except the booking fee.
• 8–29 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of all charges except the booking fee. Booking fee not refunded. 
• 7 Days or Less Before Arrival: No refund.

Long-Term Stays (29 nights or longer):

• 6+ Months Before Arrival: 100% refund.
• 91 Days–6 Months Before Arrival: Refund of all charges except the booking fee.
• 60–91 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of rent and other fees refunded. Booking fee not refunded. 
• 60 Days or Less Before Arrival: No refund of rent or booking fee; other fees refunded. 

Third-Party Bookings:
