We loved our stay at Bella Luna! Picturesque setting just outside of Montecito - private backyard, spacious home, and modern kitchen. It was a fantastic location and setting for our family vacation. Enjoyed the outdoor amenities as well as the proximity to all that Santa Barbara has to offer - beach, restaurants, and grocery store all close by. Would definitely recommend!

I can’t rave about this place enough. The house was extremely clean and had everything you need. Location felt very private and very safe. The backyard is absolutely amazing and we used the hot tub every night which was very relaxing after a day out and about. The description of the driveway is accurate. It is a small driveway that will fit a car. We found it best to back in which made it easier to leave. There is plenty of parking in front of the house and on the side street if needed. Conveniently located close to Montecito and Santa Barbara and many other places. If we visit that area again, this is definitely the place we would book again. 10/10 and highly recommend!

This was a great spot to spend a few days. The house was clean and comfortable. The backyard was a delight with all the citrus trees and bocce ball court as well as hot tub. The location is convenient to beaches and hiking trails.

We stayed for 8 nights after my kids had surgery in SB. The house was clean and perfect for a family of 4. It was well supplied with shampoo/conditioner/soaps/paper towels/cooking supplies/spices, etc. The beds and bedding were VERY comfortable. There was plenty of cookware and utensils, although the quality wasn't that great. There was a bit of an older house smell when we first got there, but it aired out quickly. Unfortunately for us it rained hard most of the stay, but the little bit of backyard time we were able to enjoy was absolutely lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings! It's the backyard of dreams! The house gets plenty of natural light which was very helpful being stuck inside for so many days. At the end of the week, there was a small leak in the ceiling of the dining area from the rain. We called the help number, and they had people out to fix it up fairly quickly. Overall, we had a great stay. Would recommend to others and would stay again!

Clean and spacious, everything was great when we stayed at this place. Only one minor issue: the fan of the aged AC system runs non-stop even when we turn off the system from the control panel. Besides that, there was no cool air on the first day. The host sent an AC technician over next day to check and he informed us we must set the desired temperature to ~ 62 deg in order for the Freon to kick in, even the room temperature is at 80 deg. The fan cannot be turned off from the control panel. He said he could shot it off from the main power panel if we wanted, but we didn't mind so just let the fan run. At least we could have cool air when needed.

This was hands-down one of the best Airbnb experiences we've had. It's an amazing rental with so much charm! The half-acre property is stunningly peaceful and private, and the home itself is very well-kept and beautifully decorated. The photos are great and still don't do it justice: between the front & backyards with the lovely grass & landscaping, the abundant fruit trees, lavender-laden walking path, bocce court, fire pit, and hot tub, this truly felt like a great escape for a family weekend trip. We stayed with 3 adults and 1 toddler, and everyone was very comfortable. The home was also very well stocked with linens, towels, and even beach-going equipment to make everything feel easy. The location itself strikes a great balance between being private and quiet, yet close enough to Montecito, Santa Barbara, and downtown Carpinteria, so there are plenty of things to do in the area. Highly recommend; we'd love to return soon!

Bella Luna is a wonderful property, was a great home base for us to explore the area from Santa Barbara to Carpinteria. We are a family of 4 but there was plenty of space for 6 people (the place has 5 beds, 1 of which is a king). The house has an expansive and private backyard, all the creature comforts you expect (internet, TV w/ streaming services, full kitchen, laundry) and was in a central location (you could get to Santa Barbara via the roads along the foothills, so you're not solely dependent on the freeway). Only hiccup was the heating system was on the fritz, but the property manager was very responsive and ensured we were property compensated for the inconvenience. Great service and product!

We stayed here as a family of 3. The landscaping and house are very well maintained. The backyard is completely private and vast. Lots of fruit trees and little walking paths. The hot tub was a daily activity in the afternoons and after dinner. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen is very modern. We had one small issue which required contacting the property manager and they responded very quickly, were super nice and got it sorted for us. You are basically 10 min from everywhere. Downtown Santa Barbara is an easy drive, Montecito is also close by. Very easy access to the 101. Overall this place is a winner and you should consider it if you come out to the Santa Barbara area.

We spent 5 perfect nights at Bella Luna, a few miles outside Santa Barbara. We enjoyed watching the horses at the ranch across the road and driving through nearby Summerland and ritzy Montecito. The house had everything we needed to be our home away from home. The back yard was beautiful and spacious, with lemon and lime trees, a hot tub, and complete privacy. Great place to enjoy a glass of wine or dinner outdoors. It was hard to leave and we're already thinking about when we can come back.

This is such a beautiful spacious home. The backyard with all of the trees, it's so huge. Just beautiful and very secluded. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook a good meal. We had an ideal stay at this very attractive, super clean, and confortable home. Rain prevented us from enjoying the bocce ball court, but we loved our time in the outdoor spa at night and during the day. We especially loved how private this property is. The beds and bedding are beyond comfy, and the kitchen has absolutely everything you need. When we first arrived on Friday afternoon, we discovered nearby Padaro Beach Cafe in Carpenteria, and it was exactly the king of place we were looking for to enjoy an outdoor lunch by the ocean. On Sat., we had cocktails at Shoreline Cafe in Santa Barbara while sitting at a table on the beach as the sunset - perfect! Although it began to rain on Sunday afternoon, we had time to check out the Botanic Garden, and then we cooked up a fish dinner that night at Bella Luna. It was a really wonderful stay. Thank you!

Lovely home for a lovely trip! We planned a little girls' getaway, and this home had everything we needed. Tons of room to lounge about, gorgeous and massive backyard, and plenty of comfy beds. There were a good bit of strange bugs/spiders inside and outside the house, but nothing we couldn't deal with. The hot tub was a highlight, we just wished for maybe a bit more backyard lighting/string lights/lanterns to better be able to light the way to it + the fire pit at night. Location was great, was just a quick drive into Santa Barbara or Carp DT. We asked for local recos and received a great doc full of them, which we referenced throughout the entirety of our trip. Overall had an amazing stay here, would def recommend!

Spencer's place is beautiful and we had a wonderful time. My only quibble, was that I was asked to upload a copy of my drivers license and a selfie. I have never been asked to do that before. Having been a victim of identity theft in the past, it made me very wary. I was also asked to sign a separate rental agreement, which again is not something I've been asked to do before. It is in their listing, so I guess it was my own fault that I didn't read all of the rules carefully. Other than that, I would highly recommend the property. The backyard especially is gorgeous with fruit trees and a hot tub and a bocce ball court.

We stay in quite a few VRBOs and it will be hard to top this one. It was by far one of the cleanest. The cabinets were clean and organized, spices available. The backyard was beautiful.

Bella Luna is conveniently located just off the 101, about a mile and a half south of Summerland. Super easy drive into Summerland, and also a short drive to Montecito and Santa Barbara. The house is lovely, with a big yard, nice Hot tub, outdoor kitchen set up, and fire pit. The master bed is pretty firm, but it is not a creaky or old bed/mattress - just firm, so something to note. We would love to stay here again!

We came to California to visit our daughter who just moved to LA. We wanted a place where she could escape from apartment living and enjoy some family time with us. The house, garden, jacuzzi, and porches were perfect gathering spaces. Felt like home. It was all fresh, clean, well-appointed, and stocked with books, board games, movies beach supplies, and cooking utensils. When not at the house, we explored area beaches, shopping centers, and restaurants in Montecito and Santa Barbara. Check in was easy and the property managers were so friendly and helpful, giving us great recommendations to local favorites. Highly recommend.

I start with Six stars and end up with a 4.5 star rating, explained below. One extra because of a special accommodation the owner allowed us. One half star removed for dangerous metal plants in patio and another full star because the guest bedroom sink faucet does not work (small dribble only - I need to report to property manager.) Since no 4.5 star option, they get 5 starts to be fair to the owner. The place is gorgeous and absolutely private! Large back yard with fruit trees and complete privacy. It is also directly across the street from horse stables. All types of wildlife and hawks to watch. Great Fruit trees. Beware of metal plants in pots in patio area. I cut myself twice brushing against them accidentally until I realized they were metal. We used this rental as Bday vacation for my wife and a base to look for vacation homes along with driving along the coast, visiting Ojai and Lake Casitas. People in Summerland are very friendly. The house has everything you need in the kitchen to cook with with including toaster, pots, plates and silverware. I would absolutely stay here again.

We absolutely loved this house! We have visited the area many times and this might be one of our favorite finds—spacious, comfortable, peaceful, and a perfect location to conveniently enjoy the area. And the back yard!! It was more beautiful than we had expected, better than the photos suggest. The house and backyard were even better than described and we had everything you needed for relaxing. Backyard with view of the mountains is a paradise. Home is immaculately clean without any chemical odors! We did non cooked, but we see the kitchen was well-stocked with nice cooking accessories. We BBQ'd once and had lovely relaxing dined on the backyard. It was also wonderful that house was supplied with some morning coffee and a few cooking items such as spices and olive oil. Would stay here again

Bella Luna was a fantastic home base for us as we celebrated our daughter’s wedding. Perfectly located a short drive to both Carpinteria and Santa Barbara. We enjoyed the beautiful and thoughtfully furnished home. There is lots of seating indoors and out for visitors to gather. The long private, gated driveway in the back of the property was helpful for parking as well as storing our trailer. The private front and backyards are perfect for enjoying the green space. Guests played bocce ball and corn hole and chatted around the fire pit. The cart, towels, and chairs were a helpful touch for our day at the beach. There was plenty of room for the bridal party to get ready together the morning of the wedding. Bella Luna made a lovely backdrop for making lifelong memories.

This was a great property overall. It was a little further from downtown Carpenteria. However, it was closer to Summerland, Montecito and Santa Barbara. There was a beach that was 2 mins away by car. There is no crib/pack-n-play so just be sure to bring your own if you need it. We would recommend and we would definitely stay here again!
