This house was amazing! It was immaculately clean throughout, the bed was very comfortable, the fenced yard was perfect for our dog. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. The host was responsive to all my questions via text. We needed triple A batteries for the TV remote and they deliver it within a couple of hours. We are definitely coming back and booked it for our next trip to Cambria.

The location is fantastic! Shops and restaurants nearby. There is coastal access nearby but not a beach to enjoy with kids. We did not have a pet with us but the house was pet friendly!

We had a wonderful, comfortable stay at this rental home. The only suggestion I have is that it would be nice if we didn't have to purchase and then give to the next guests dishwasher pods. We were only given 3 pods for our 5 night stay. I realize that in the description that it was mentioned there would be a starter amount of amenities like toilet paper and paper towels, but when traveling from out of state it would be nice to have at least enough for the amount of nights our stay was for. We still had a 5 star stay and everyone was very comfortable and slept well and the fenced back yard was perfect for our son's dog. The neighborhood is quiet and the home's location was very easy to drive to all of the sites Cambria and Big Sur area had to offer.

The house was super clean, and so nicely laid out and upgraded.The only comment I would make is the kitchen could be a bit better stocked as far as it didn’t have aluminum foil, and could have a few more kitchen utensilsMaybe a tea kettle or something. I didn’t bring coffee pods because I usually brew my own coffee and I had forgotten that your site said you had a Keurig that’s not a negativity on your part because you did advertise it.But everything else was fabulous! Loved our stay! We stayed at a different place last year I liked this place much better!! It was very Clean, nice appliances remodeled bathroom and kitchen. Didn’t understand the question about our wine experience? Grandson loved being outside in the backyard. We brought a gate to keep our two year old from going up the stairs. This is a great house! The only reason I gave 4 stars for check in was that our door code doesn’t work. It is important to mention that our cell phone service did not work at the house so we had to drive down the hill to make call to get instructions on entering. They were super helpful and gave us another code and we were able to get in. The house was clean and well appointed. We had a great stay and wished we would have brought our dogs because it looks like they make it very comfortable for pets (dishes, blankets, etc.). We will definitely look for this house again next time we visit Cambria.

We stayed at Vacasa in Cambria for our family Thanksgiving get-together. The house was perfect; it had everything we needed for our three families (5 adults, 1 toddler, and a pet). This was a family gathering ....the house was perfect ....everyone had private space. Living area/ kitchen open space so we could all talk and be together. Great kitchen .... new appliances .... so easy to cook and share meals together. Loved the 1/2 bath downstairs! Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Outdoor space great...weather was a bit chilly so didn't utilize the great patio area...except for the grill. Overall, perfect spot for a 'gathering".

We had a fantastic stay and truly felt right at home! The space was ideal for our family of three. One of the 3 bedrooms has its own private door, but has an open wall, which was not an issue for us. The kitchen was perfect for preparing family meals, though it primarily has nonstick pans. A few stainless steel or cast iron options would be a great addition, as would a bread knife. We were particularly grateful for the Keurig Coffee Latte & Cappuccino Maker and the milk steamer, as well as the blender for my morning smoothies. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, adding to the overall cozy atmosphere. One suggestion would be to add dimmers, especially in the living room area, to enhance the ambiance. The location is conveniently close to both town and the beach. It genuinely felt like a real vacation, and we will likely book again in the future.

This home was immaculate, beautifully renovated and with all up to date and in working condition appliances. The neighborhood was lovely and friendly. The backyard and barbecue were exactly as described. The home was 5 minutes from a beach with access up and down the coast to beaches. The wine tasting options are copious and nearby. Well furnished, beautiful peaceful surroundings. Great location to everything (I.e. Beach, restaurants, downtown, Hearst, Elephant seals etc). We did have a little run in. Since it’s a small town and we were arriving late we stopped in Paso and grocery shopped. Came in late and left groceries (bread, sugar, snacks, pancake mix etc)on the counter to put away next day, because it was late. Woke up next morning and groceries were covered in ants. All groceries were ruined. Don’t place any food on counters on sink side. Raid under the counter, not a fan, so picked up eco friendly spray and used several times a day in kitchen and bathrooms. Also, house could use some air fresheners (comes with territory of allowing dogs) but house was clean! Overall, it was a great stay and I will be booking again for next year. P.S they added a TV in the main room, yay! Beds comfy and house was well stocked for cooking and extra bedding, blankets, pillows etc. Well worth the price for a beach vacation!

This is our second stay in this rental. It is spacious, clean, and in a quiet location. We cooked several meals and the kitchen had everything we needed to do so. Large dining table easily seats 6. Great secure yard for our dog. Comfortable beds and good temperature control. Though the kitchen was well appointed and there was access to laundry in the garage, I will note there was no broom or vacuum made available to clean up after ourselves easily throughout our stay. It also took a few tries to get in as well as lock the door upon leaving using the keypad lock, but once we figured out you need to pull and hold the door tightly closed, it was not a problem. Vacasa was responsive, but also seems to employ AI for some automated responses. Check out time was not flexible, which I understand since it is a large home to clean between guests. Overall a lovely stay and we would book again.

Overall, this is a good spot, especially if you have a dog with you. The backyard is solidly fenced with a nice turf area. It made it easy to clean and a safe area for the dog. The house was very clean and well stocked. I noticed a faint smell of cigarette odor. More like the house once belonged to a smoker than someone recently smoking. If you have a very sensitive nose, you might notice it. The couch was a bit tired, but not terrible. There was a huge kitchen table, perfect for building a puzzle. There is a large TV in the living room. There is a Keurig coffee maker, with some k cups provided. If you like fancy coffee, you may want to bring your own k cups, but it was still really nice to have some provided. It was an easy drive into town and you can get food delivered so plenty of options. The bed in the master was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets provided. There were some amenities provided, with shampoo and conditioner in these little eco friendly cups. Plenty of hand soap, dish soap and cleaning amenities provided. Overall it was a nice, clean space and we would be happy to stay there again.

We spent 2 amazing weeks with our 2 dogs and enjoyed every moment of it. The house is spectacular, clean, modern and freshly remodeled and second previous reviews that emphasize the excellent maintenance, despite being dog friendly. This house is obviously the pride and joy of the owners. Everything is present to make a stay comfortable and complete. The beds were great. Decor was welcoming. Yard was nicely kept. Location was close to Cambria and Hearst Castle. The electronics throughout the house were top notch. We did not bring a dog but would have loved to. In spite of welcoming dogs, the place was immaculate with no trace of previous dog guests. I would highly recommend this house.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wanderlust, Lodge Hill! We arrived for a long weekend with our adult daughters, and we found the house to be very clean. We had everything that we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The house is decorated very nicely and everything was in working order. The beds were comfortable. They even provided a filtered water pitcher in the refrigerator, so that we saved on purchasing bottled water. Also, the customer service was very responsive! The house was the perfect size for a family of 5, and it was also nice having 2 1/2 baths. We saw a deer through the kitchen window one day :-). The location was good - It is only a short drive to Moonstone beach and the village of Cambria. We look forward to staying again.

This home looked newly remodeled. It was very clean and had a very nice amount of bath and kitchen towels. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cooking supplies. Each bedroom was comfortable with nice linen. We traveled with our dog. The backyard was very clean and simple with a study gate for the safety of our pet. The house had a nice, functional heater and lots of very hot water. The only thing I would have enjoyed is a television in the main family room. The bedrooms had beautiful televisions but the main sitting area, which was downstairs, did not have a TV.

My whole family stayed. Three kids and two adults. There are three bedrooms with a king and one queen in the other and two twins in the third. It’s advertised as having only two bedrooms and a loft, but the loft really is a 3 bedroom with a closed off door. the house was immaculate, new, and larger than I thought. They had Wi-Fi and even a printer set up. It had two TVs one TV in the loft/bedroom and one in the king bedroom with all streaming services. Already set up with accounts already in them for people to watch, which was awesome. A single car garage, that we didn’t end up using. Sunny parking for two cars on the outside. Washer and dryer brand new in the garage. All the appliances were brand new. And it had plenty of towels, linens, pillows, comforters, everything you need. Plus an additional foldaway bed. So really seven people could stay there. It says it’s used allowed for pets, but it didn’t smell like pets, or look like pets or no for anything so I could even tell that pets have been there. it’s in a little small quiet, senior citizen community up on the hill. It’s about five minute drive to Moonstone Beach and downtown Cambria. It’s absolutely beautiful tucked up in there on the hill with the trees. It was perfect. Other things of change would be there was no dishwasher detergent, so we just have to wash your dishes with hot water. There’s no TV on the main level so watch movies is a family was a little bit difficult. And towards anniversary day we started to see ants...

Inside the home was very clean and meet our expectations. Several days before arriving, I inquired about roll away bed as there was no mentioned regarding one. The person who I spoke to was able to confirm that information, Our first night, we continuously heard water running in the upstairs toilet. When we called in the morning about the problem, it was fixed by the end of the day. We appreciated the immediate repair of the toilet so that we were not bothered by it through the night. We would like to make the following recommendations: 1) grab bars in the combination bathtub/shower xs. 2) When coming downstairs it was very difficult to see the last step; dangerous. We recognize that there is a slight color difference between the last stair and the floor, but not much of a contrast. We thank VRBO for managing this home. Overall, we appreciate your professionalism and taking care of the running water in the bathroom.

Lovely house in a quiet neighborhood. Very close to everything in Cambria, so you will be able to explore many beautiful places from this base. It's pet friendly and has a nice fenced-in yard that our dog loved. The furniture was great, the beds were very comfortable, and there were good laundry facilities. There was a desk in one of the three bedrooms that was great for remote work and there also was a printer in one of the other rooms (we didn't end up using that, though). One review commented on the kitchen needing a few things --we actually thought it was well-equipped, so it met our needs just fine. My score about the communication from the property manager was four stars because I communicated some things they needed to know as we were leaving. I never received any acknowledgement of that communication - I would have liked to have heard back. All the other communications were fine, although they had an automated feel to them. We didn't have any issues come up that the property manager needed to fix, so I can't comment on their responsiveness. This was our second Cambria rental on this trip. If we came back to Cambria this is where we would stay.
