What a great stay! We had an awesome time with our toddler. The beach, with a playground, and open hiking space was around a the corner. The town of Cambria is a 20min walk, if you so choose, with great restaurants and plenty of boutiques and quality thrift stores. The view of the ocean from the house is as advertised. We will be going back.

The house was perfect for our family of 3. Could definitely accommodate more. We didn’t really use the kitchen, but it had everything you possibly need. I would have preferred a larger bed but the queen beds worked just fine. The location was absolutely perfect. We did daily walks to Fiscallini and we were a short distance from town. We used the camping chairs available to us as well as several of the board games. TV has EVERY streaming service you can think of. We really enjoyed the house and would definitely stay there again.

Communication with the host was a little tricky because the host connected to the Vrbo website is not the company currently managing it. We ultimately got connected to the right company.

This home is beautiful. We loved the added touches such as the coffee bar, desk with local information to look through, games to enjoy, and the quality of everything provided. Laundry facilities with soap was an added bonus. The bathrooms were equipped with bathing necessities, too.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Cambria. The house is exactly as photographed—clean, tastefully decorated, and incredibly welcoming. There’s plenty of space for two couples or a small family, and the layout with dual en-suite bedrooms on opposite sides of the home offers great privacy. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The neighborhood is peaceful and friendly, and the location couldn’t be better. It’s just a short walk to the ocean, close to hiking trails, and only minutes from Main Street. We loved having so many outdoor spaces to relax in, and the patios and surrounding nature made mornings especially lovely. Watching deer wander by while having coffee was such a treat. We explored nearby Fiscalini Ranch and Moonstone Beach multiple times. The kitchen was well-equipped with modern appliances, a large dining table, and everything we needed for meals at home. The home felt cozy, quiet, and thoughtfully set up for guests. Everything was spotless, too.

The home is beautiful and walkable to the ocean. Lovely decor. Lots of amenities. I have only two complaints, the most serious is the fact that there is no access to the outside trash bin. If you fill up the kitchen trash you are stuck with it, you can’t empty it unless you drive the trash somewhere, so I would not recommend staying for more than a few days. The other is that you are only given enough detergent for two dishwashing loads. But don’t stay long and you’ll be fine.

A very clean, comfortably furnished, tastefully decorated and quiet getaway for my wife and I although large enough for two couples (or small family) especially with the duel en-suite bedrooms at opposite ends of the floorplan. Comfortable mattresses! A well-equipped kitchen and large dining table with all modern appliances, dishwasher and a Kurig coffee maker. The new gas grill is just outside the kitchen for easy access and convenience. We loved morning coffee with deer grazing just a few feet away! The public beach, pool and playground were about a hundred yards down the street, restaurants and shopping only a two-minute drive. Hearst Castle is awesome and only a ten-minute drive north on Cabrillo Hwy (1). Best to buy groceries in Morro Bay (30 minutes south) if coming from LA. We hope to have the privilege of staying at this lovely beach house again soon! Thank you Vacasa!

We had a wonderful winter holiday in Cambria. The weather cooperated and the ocean waves were spectacular, and the beaches weren’t too windy. The house was comfortable, conveniently located and fully equipped. The two bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house and quiet.

Absolutely lovely residence. From a couple paces out to the street corner patio, you can see the ocean. A cozy cove by the water is a short walk away, and the air was refreshing. Place was clean and well kept. The furnishings were comfortable. The upstairs and downstairs rooms were perfectly tucked away from each other. Parking can be challenging in the short driveway. Easiest way is to park on the street. Overall, the location is secluded and conveniently near the town center. A perfect retreat.

The property was comfortable. The beds were nice. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it seemed well-stocked. There is a wine cooler and stainless appliances. There is no microwave. The washer and dryer look new and are very large. There is a sea view from the deck in front of the house.

The house was very clean and well organized. I am very particular about having a clean place, and this house fit the bill. In addition to providing coffee and tea, they even had microwave popcorn, which was a nice treat! Further, we left some items in one of the closets, and Vacasa has been very responsive and helpful in an effort to return the items to us. A little advice for Vacasa and/or the owner of the house - there are only 2 very large coffee cups. Additional cups/mugs are needed. Also, there are only 2 glass wineglasses. The rest are plastic. It would be nice to have more wine glasses.

Looks like a brand new home! Beautifully furnished and perfect for my husband and I and our 2 kids, ages 12 and 14. Great for 2 couples too as the 2 bedrooms are spread apart and each have a bathroom. Within walking distance to the Fiscalini preserve hikes and the beach. You can see the ocean from the front patio. You can hear it from the other decks off the house. The bbq and appliances seem brand new. Visit Hearst Castle, Covell Ranch Clydesdales, Morro Bay, shop and eat at Cambria, hike along the sea cliff trail in Fiscalini. Wonderful trip and the Jewel By The Sea is a great home. Highly recommended!

We normally stay in hotels on our annual trips to Cambria but this time decided we needed a bit more room to spread out. This home was perfect-beautiful, in a very walkable neighborhood, walk to the ocean, downtown restaurants and Fiscallini Ranch trails. The home itself is beautifully and thoughtfully appointed, clearly care and attention has been put into making guests feel comfortable and at home. We love to cook and finding every appliance/tool we have in our own kitchen was fantastic. Beds were super comfortable, plenty of linens/towels and even a few coffee pods, spices, oils were provided...very nice! Will definitely be renting this again, no more hotels in Cambria for us!

This was a wonderful experience. The house is walkable to the Fiscalini Reserve and the Moonstone boardwalk and even to town if you’re feeling it! It’s a quiet neighborhood and the house is great. There is a secret park right down the street where you can watch a sublime sunset on a park bench.

It was perfect for us. Also great for two couples; layout lends itself to bedroom privacy. I took the upstairs because I love sleeping with the window open! Felt super safe. The location is amazing! Walkable down to ocean; trail nearby; cozy yet fresh, airy, and clean (carpet could us a little freshen up). It has everything that you need. Nutshell: We WILL stay again. Will take my husband too! Thank you! Tip: - I don't do Keurig, because I like my coffee stronger than the pods, so I took my travel coffee pot. - Tub soaks are discouraged due to the water shortage in the area. - If you love ice cubes, (2 trays provided)

This beach house is lovely. Very well maintained and supplied with coffee, basic cooking supplies, etc. Only negatives we found are that shower stall in the downstairs bedroom is quite small, and the parking in the driveway is somewhat challenging, as the driveway is very short and rather steep. Especially difficult with a larger car like an SUV. We ended up parking on the street, it was much easier. Other than that, the house was perfect. Great location with a short walk to beautiful Moonstone Beach and great hiking trails. The town of Cambria is a 5 minute drive away and it is full of fabulous restuarants, bakeries and shops. We can't wait to go back for another visit.

This home was absolutely jaw dropping the moment we walked in! The pictures truly do not do it justice. It was me, my husband and our two boys, aged 11 and 13. Moonstone was just down the end of the street. The rooms were perfect, both with their own bathrooms. It had everything I needed to cook and clean. We loved ending the night in the living room watching TV together. It was insanely clean as well. I would love to stay here again with our family! I will say it could definitely accommodate more than four people.

The house is really lovely but small, so more than 2 people would be challenging. Very nicely furnished, with everything you could want in the kitchen. Nice (albeit small) bedrooms. Except for a near-by forest/park, you need to drive everywhere, but that's Cambria (unless you're staying in the town itself).
