The West Elm Houses are the brainchild of Brand Specialist, John-Patrick, who connected the dots between Acme House Company, West Elm and Modernism Week to produce a series of luxury Vacation Rental Homes that celebrate the Palm Springs Lifestyle. Each year the launch of the new West Elm House is a very popular anchor event of Modernism Week - drawing visitors from all over the globe who attend the home tours, cocktail parties and private dinner parties during The Big Reveal.

 

 

 

 

 

The West Elm House 2017: The Alexander

This classic midcentury home is located in the Little Beverly Hills neighborhood of Palm Springs. Launched during Modernism Week 2017, it was the first in the series of collaborations between Solterra Builders, Acme House Company and West Elm. This idea house was created to inspire and guide architecture and design enthusiasts when it comes to the art of modernizing a midcentury home for the way we live today. It is the perfect "Midcentury to Next-Century Transformation" of an iconic 1950s home originally built by the Alexander Construction.

 

Since launching in February of 2017, this property enjoys an 87% occupancy rate and averages between $650 and $1,100 per night depending on the season.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

West Elm Pool House 2018

The Pool House has become one of Palm Springs' most talked about vacation rental properties. This second collaboration between Acme House Company and West Elm had its Big Reveal during Modernism Week 2018 when it was celebrated with swank cocktail parties, home tours and synchronized swimming performances by the Aqualillies. Guests have included television personalities, sports figures, social influencers and fashion designers. The property has been seen on the hit reality TV show Shahs of Sunset and featured in high style fashion shoots. It's an amazing property with a huge pool yard and gorgeous mountain views.

 

Since launching in February of 2018, this property enjoys an 89% occupancy rate and averages between $790 and $1,400 per night depending on the season.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is the third in the series of collaborations between Acme House Company and West Elm - transforming a classic Midcentury Estate Home in the El Mirador neighborhood into an upscale vacation rental paradise where understated elegance meets comfort and style. Once again West Elm has worked with Acme House Company and local artisans and craftsmen to launch this idea house in time for Palm Springs Modernism Week.

 

Since launching in February of 2019, this property has rented by the month to corporate clients. In July of 2019 the property will begin taking short term vacation rental bookings of 5 nights. Acme House Company projects an 84% occupancy rate and with an average of between $625 and $1,500 per night depending on the season.
