Let’s Talk – Hollywood at Home in Palm Springs

PALM SPRINGS, CA – The Palm Springs Historical Society kicks off its lecture season with Let's Talk – Hollywood at Home in Palm Springs! Join Hollywood aficionado Jim Cook and local author Vinny Stoppia on Thursday, November 21st as they explore the fabulous history of Hollywood in Palm Springs. Cocktails are at 5pm and the show starts at 6pm.

Palm Springs has been Hollywood’s desert playground for celebrities since the 1920s. By the 1950s, weekend and seasonal getaways were all the rage for the celebrities and millionaires who flocked to Palm Springs to relax under the radar. Jim and Vinny will dive into this history, reflected by the stars' homes and by their timelines. Join them as they explore some of Hollywood's biggest names including Valentino, Sinatra, Dinah Shore, Kirk Douglas, and many more!

The tour will cover a little history, a lotta celebrity, and a bunch of connections with plenty of surprises, unique film montages, and rarely heard stories. You won't want to miss it.
