It features a saltwater pool w/ an integrated spa, a pond w/ a waterfall feature, a fire pit lounge, a living pavilion, and two alfresco dining areas. There's even a ping pong table. OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
This property captures the magic of Southern California glamour in true Palm Springs-style. The convenient close-to-town location is softened by mature plantings, fruit trees, towering palm trees and gorgeous garden landscaping that is drought-conscious and lush at the same time. The very private backyard is truly a slice of paradise. It features a heated in-ground saltwater pool and integrated spa, an outdoor shower, and a fire pit lounge adjacent to a pond with a waterfall feature - perfect for relaxing evenings under the stars. You'll also find a covered living pavilion, two alfresco dining areas, and a BBQ grill. There's even a ping pong table! This property is a true vacation oasis.

INDOOR LIVING SPACES

The mid-mod inspired furnishings reinterpret the iconic 1960s style without sacrificing comfort. Spectacular walls of glass let the light pour in - revealing the fabulous sun-drenched pool yard. The kitchen, living and dining areas are all open to each other, perfect for spending time with your entire group. Everything has been reimagined for the way we live today - with high-speed internet, 4 flat screen televisions, high performance climate control and a well stocked kitchen featuring upgraded stainless steel appliances.

SLEEPING QUARTERS
Each of the three bedrooms feature a comfortable hotel-quality mattress, a flatscreen TV and ample storage. The Master Suite has a King bed, an ensuite bath & direct access to the pool yard. One Guest Room also features a King bed, an ensuite bath with a soaking tub, and direct access to the pool yard. The other Guest Room features a Queen bed, direct access to the outdoors, and easy access to the guest bathroom in the hallway.

All reservations require you to provide a valid photo ID and a signed rental contract.

Reservations booked within 72 hours of arrival require additional verification to provide identity and avoid fraudulent bookings including live video chats with staff members that are recorded.

CANCELLATION/REFUND

Direct Bookings on www.acmehouseco.com or Via Phone* for stays of 28 days or less:

  • 60 days or more, prior to Arrival date, Acme House Company will process a 100% refund except for special services** ordered on behalf of the occupant. (Special services refunds are explained below)
  • > 48 hours - 59 days prior to arrival, guests can obtain a full refund minus the booking fee, taxes on the booking fee, and any special services*
  • . The booking fee is considered earned.
  • < 48 hours prior to arrival, the full RENT AMOUNT is considered earned as well as the booking fee and associated taxes. All other costs and fees are refunded, except for special services ordered on behalf of the occupant. (Special services refunds are explained below)

*Bookings on third party websites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, Marriott Homes and Villas or Plum Guide may be subject to different cancellation policies set by the specific channel. Please refer to the cancellation policy on the site in which your booking occurred as this will be the cancellation policy governing your reservation. Stays of more than 28 days are subject to our Long Term cancellation policy.

** Special Services. We may be unable to refund for any special services ordered on behalf of Occupant, at Occupant request, outside of rent, taxes and fees, which cannot be cancelled in time for a refund to be issued. Example, you order a catering service which we arrange, which requires a non refundable deposit.

Such a good place to relax in the beautiful sunshine of Palm Springs. Loved the outdoor couch, chaise lounges, pool, and hot tub. Many hours were spent reading in the pool or hot tub. Very cute decor and comfortable beds. Great TV for movie watching. And the kitchen such cute glassware and plates, they match! Amazing for a rental property. Nice quiet neighborhood. Easy driving distance to Joshua Tree NP. Would love to stay here again.

Close to a lot of activities, beautiful home. The pool was a bit small, the water to the property is a bit hard and doesn’t run clear, and we had a bit of an issue with the hot water in the bathrooms but overall it was a great vacation spot.

Had a lovely weekend getaway with 5 girls. We loved the overall theme and decoration of the property. the backyard with so nice and quiet with a great view of the mountains. The only small annoyance was the living room area stays pretty warm even with the AC. I think the back slider and front window would benefit from thermal film.

Wonderful weekend

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at The Great Escape. The house is beautifully furnished and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need! The pool was smaller then expected but ended up being the perfect size for our whole party to hang out and cool down. Hint: There's a small sign over the a/c control that says to "keep the doors shut". We though this meant the outside doors but it is actually referring to the bedroom doors. Close the bedroom doors and the house will stay much cooler. Acme House Company is hands down the most responsive rental company I have EVER had the pleasure of working with!! We can't wait to return to The Great Escape!!

Girls' Weekend Fun

My 5 girlfriends and I had an amazing time! The house and yard were clean and spacious, and it was nice to have one bathroom per bedroom. The only detriments were that the living room was still a bit warm even with the A/C on, and the pool was smaller than it seems in the photos but since there were only 6 of us it was fine. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful new build. So clean. Beds are so comfortable. Great location. You can tell the owners really care you have a lovely time with lots of little details thought brought like cooking spices and labelled drawers. Loads of space for 6 people. Jacuzzi easy to operate. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely go back.

If you’re looking for the perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay in Palm Springs, look no further than the Great Escape. Located just a few minutes from the downtown area, it’s convenient to restaurants, shopping and and other activities Palm Springs offers. The house has two master suites and another bedroom with nearby full bath, which was perfect for our party of two couples and a single. The house was beautifully decorated and fully stocked, and the outdoor area had everything - pool, hot tub, fire pit, seating, waterfall - everything you need to lounge and relax. Acme rentals was wonderful to deal with. Our coffee pot broke and they delivered another one to us within an hour. Check in was perfect. They even let one couple leave their luggage at their office after we checked out because they had a late flight. Would definitely book this place again.

We had a great long weekend at this property. The property management was very attentive and helpful. So many times, when a property lists a heated pool, it is not warm enough, but we were pleasantly surprised that the pool was warm enough to be able to enjoy even in December. Both the indoor and outdoor gas fireplaces were an enjoyable part of the property as well. We hope to stay again in the not too distant future.

We stayed at this property for 30 days and couldn't have been more happy with the entire experience. The hosts were attentive, caring, and thought of everything. It is so much better than going through a property management company. This is their house and they treat it as their own home and treated us as guests. The house and grounds had everything we could need. The neighborhood is quiet, residential, and friendly. We will return for sure!
