Stunning 1950s executive home in the middle of Palm Springs. This spacious vacation rental has been totally updated for the way we live today. Gorgeous new kitchen, deluxe baths, high-speed internet, open concept floor plan, comfortable Mid Mod-inspired furnishings, and a fabulous pool yard with mountain views.
ABOUT THE INTERIOR LIVING SPACES
Gorgeous in its simplicity, this property captures the hip and sophisticated Palm Springs vibe of yesteryear. It is retro chic and very 'next century' all at the same time. The focus here is on easy living in the sunshine - it's all about style, comfort and relaxation.
This sprawling single family home has a free flowing floor plan that is perfect for spending time with your entire group. The living room, dining area and center island kitchen are all open to each other - with walls of french doors that reveal the fabulous pool yard. There is also an additional media lounge with a huge 70" flat screen TV, a large comfortable sectional sofa, a wet bar, wine fridge, a full bath and direct patio access. It's a great space - made for fun.
THE SLEEPING QUARTERS
All three bedrooms feature hospitality-quality mattresses and ample storage. The King Master has a private ensuite bath and direct pool access. The queen guest room shares a bath with the third guest room that can be set up with either two twins or a king bed.
THE OUTDOOR SPACES
While the inside of this luxury vacation home is absolutely gorgeous, it is the very private pool yard and the magnificent mountain views that are the crowning glory. This property is carefully space planned for spending time with your group. At the center of it all is the kidney-shaped pool surrounded by chaise loungers and other seating groups. You'll find a covered dining pavilion, a gas grill and rolling green lawns.
ABOUT THE LOCATION
Sunrise Park is centrally located in the City of Palm Springs. It's close to the airport (but not in the flight pattern) and less than a mile and a half from bustling Downtown. While staying at Mid Mod Sunsation you will be a quick stroll from the Farmers Market, the Camelot Theater (the home of many of our film festivals and where all the arthouse and independent movies are shown.) Restaurants, fast food places, coffee spots, grocery stores and other neighborhood conveniences are all very close by.
OPTIONAL CONCIERGE SERVICES
Private chef, pre-arrival grocery stocking, daily maid service, and poolside massage can be arranged with three weeks advance notice.

"The two bedrooms at the end of the hallway had a lot of noise. I think it is due to the A/C. I am not able to sleep with that much noise and that ruined my short get away. Also compared to the property we rented last year the kitchen wasn't stacked up as much. It may be due to covid and that was not a big deal."

Mid Mod Sunsation was Sensational
"Mid-mod sensation was an ideal house, with the pool and decks beautifully integrated with the interior rooms, all situated to frame the beautiful mountains, periodically graced with snow at the higher levels. Despite the largest one-day rainfall in the past 75 years, the sun kept us happy company most days. We loved being in such a quiet neighbourhood yet so close to downtown.

Loved that our K9 was welcome. We did have some technical issues with the complex entertainment system setup, but a friendly tech promptly arrived to help us sort out the problem with just one call. Loved this place!"

"The house is very clean and nice, kitchen has everything you can imagine.
The only thing I did not like was the pool lights , was not working.
Also the house is excellent to bring a pet , large walls aound the house give the privacy that I was looking. "

Loved This Home
"Just loved this home, Mid Mod Sunsation! It gets tons of light throughout the house, great view of the mountains from the pool!, recently remodeled and perfectly clean The bed was very comfortable, plenty of fluffy white towels, use of the garage was a bonus for us to store our bikes and keep the car out of the heat... so many positives!! It could've had a few more kitchen/cooking supplies but it was very workable for the two of us. Acme was wonderful answering any questions we had and got someone to the house super fast to help with an IT problem, always available on the phone, we really appreciated having a brick & mortar rental agency there ensuring the house was clean, well maintained and stocked. We'll definitely be back!"
A Sun-sational Time!
"It is a wonderful and relaxing home. Perfect size for a party of six where everyone could enjoy this amazing home. It is close to downtown, shopping, and casino. Recommend you check out the village fest on Thursdays. The best part was the pool and deck."
